SPEAKER_00 (00:09):
Hello, I'm Jeffrey Morton.
If you're like most in NASCAR'stop tiers, drivers, crews,
owners, or executives, whileyou're busy chasing podiums,
have you fully considered who'staking care of you?
Right here, you're about tostart transforming your mind and
body for peak race dayperformance with high

(00:29):
performance health, designedexclusively for the demands of
NASCAR.
As a certified high performancehealth coach and consulting
hypnotist, I've coached eliteentrepreneurs and athletes to
higher energy, sharper focus, and greater resilience,
naturally, safely, and backed byscience.
And right now, I'm bringing thatsame engineered approach to the

(00:53):
best in motorsports.
Here you'll find no wasted time, just a unique blend of
integrative health, mentalconditioning, and proven
recovery strategies delivered inplain language that you can use
right away.
Imagine a season withoutburnout, brain fog, or the
costly crash of your health.
Because the truth is, the realrace starts within.

(01:16):
I'm grateful you're here.
Welcome back to BreakingBoundaries for Champions.
It's officially off season forthe top tiers of NASCAR, but for
many of you still running dirt, late model, or short track
races, your body hasn't seen atrue break in a very long time.

(01:36):
And whether you're still ontrack or taking a breather, one
thing is true.
Now is the perfect time toevaluate your health, get ahead
of hidden problems, and extendyour racing career by years, not
just seasons.
Because the truth is thisperformance isn't luck, it's
biology.
And longevity isn't genetics,it's maintenance and

(01:59):
environment.
And today I'm giving you the 10annual vitality tests every
high-performance athlete,executive, or driver should
complete during the off season.
Some you can run with yourprimary care physician, and many
we run in-house over at VictoryLane Wellness.
And if you're part of ourChampions Edge Crown Jewel

(02:22):
Performance Program, we handleit all, the scheduling and
everything for you, concierge.
So let's get into it.
Number one, annual blood workand advanced lipid profile.
Now I know a lot of drivers theydon't want to face the music
when it comes to their health, but getting your blood work done

(02:42):
on a regular basis, and I seethis with uh with so many
clients, is they just they'vereally felt uh dismissed by
their conventional practitionersand they write them off
completely.
But there's value in that annualblood work.
And this is your baselinechemistry panel run with your
primary care physician.
And at a minimum, it shouldinclude uh a CVC, which is uh a

(03:07):
complete blood count, a CMP,which is a cardiometabolic
panel, a cholesterol panel, inflammation markers, kidney and
liver enzymes, fasting glucose,and triglycerides.
Now, there are more involved inthat, and I will do that in a
separate episode on actuallywhat to add to the menu of blood

(03:28):
work when you go to your primarycare physician, because a lot of
times they'll just run somebasic information and they're
leaving out some key components.
For instance, uh apolipoproteinB is a marker that they
typically don't run, but it issuper important.
And so in another episode, we'lldial into that one.
But why this matters, it showswhat's happening right now.

(03:51):
But remember, blood work revealsresults, not root causes.
It's the finish line snapshot, not the starting line story.
Now, there's no referral neededto get your blood work done,
just your primary carephysician.
Now, number two, here's where itgets good: the big five labs.
This is functional medicine rootcause testing.

(04:14):
Run over at our private wellnesspractice, Victory Lane Wellness,
through our partner Equalife, orany naturopathic doctor or
integrative health practitionerlevel two or level three, all at
home or even at the track.
And this big five bundleincludes the minerals and metals
test.
This is also known in theindustry as a hair tissue

(04:36):
mineral analysis.
You've heard me talk about thatbefore.
It reveals mineral deficienciesand heavy metal toxicities.
This is critical for fatigue, for focus, and recovery.
Next in that big five bundle isthe organic acids test.
This is known as the CandidaMetabolic and Vitamins Test, or
the Oat in the industry.

(04:58):
This is your internal enginediagnostic, talking about
mitochondrial function,oxidative stress, detox
capacity, neurotransmitters, gutovergrowth, and so much more.
This is an amazing test, uh,which is a urine-based test.
The first test we mentioned, theminerals and metals, is uh just
uses as the name hair tissuemineral analysis might allude

(05:21):
to, a simple hair sample.
And the organic acids test is aurine-based test.
Next, the omega-3 andinflammation test.
This checks the omega-3 indexand inflammation ratio.
This is a direct predictor ofheart and brain and joint
health.
This is done with a dried bloodspot test.
So just a little finger prick, acouple of drops of blood on a

(05:44):
card, and voila, we get someamazing results as a look into
your omega-3 index andinflammation ratio.
Next is the IgG food sensitivitytest.
This is different than foodallergies.
This is delayed sensitivity.
This test is meant to identifydelayed low-grade immune

(06:07):
triggers creating inflammation, skin issues, and gut problems,
and so much more.
This is a dried blood spot testas well.
And then we have the stress, mood, and metabolism test.
This is an amazing test.
Actually, I have one right hereif you're watching on video.
Comes in a simple kit like this.
Uh, this one is a saliva-basedtest and a blood spot test.

(06:29):
We'll talk more about the salivain just a moment.
Uh, but this test looks atcortisol rhythms.
This is your stress map.
It also looks at hormones suchas testosterone, estrogen,
progesterone, DHEA, but throughthe saliva, not the blood.
And that's important becausehormones that are in the blood
are bound to a protein and notreadily available for

(06:52):
utilization in the body.
But hormones tested throughsaliva are bioavailable to the
body at a more accurate pictureof hormone levels.
This test also looks at a fullthyroid panel, not just TSH like
your primary care physicianmight run.
Uh TSH is not even a thyroidhormone.
It's actually produced by thepituitary gland, but that's a

(07:13):
story for another day.
Uh, this lab test also looks athemoglobin A1C.
Sounds like a big word, but it'sa two to three month view of
your blood glucose control.
And then, of course, we'relooking at vitamin D3 and
vitamin D2.
These are beneficial forimmunity, hormone production,
and so much more.
Now, why does this matter?

(07:34):
Well, the Big Five Bundle tellsyou why your blood work looks
the way it does.
There's no referral needed, fully at home or even at the
track.
All right, number three in thevitality tests is the clearly
heart analysis.
This is a coronary arterycalcium test, and it's a precise

(07:54):
scan that measures plaquebuildup in your arteries.
And why it matters is heartdisease is the number one hidden
thief of performance.
Drivers regularly exposed tostress, poor sleep, fumes, and
inflammation should monitorheart health annually.
A referral might be requireddepending on the facility.

(08:18):
Number four, lifeline screening.
This is a simple, low-cost setof tests available nationwide.
The recommended screenings, there's four of them, uh,
carotid artery ultrasound.
This is for stroke risk.
Very, very important.
Uh abdominal, aortic, aneurysmscreening, peripheral arterial
disease uh disease screening, and they actually do a bone

(08:41):
density test as well.
Um, and what else do they do?
They also do a uh an EEG, so aum heart, you know, looking for
heart rhythms um in that aswell.
Very, very amazing, simple, lowcost.
I mean, honestly, for under$200,you can go to
lifelinescreening.com and uhactually I was just looking at

(09:04):
the website I got pulled up hereuh to find my local one so that
I can do that.
And uh coming up in um February,I am going to have mine
scheduled so I can go get minedone as well.
And this matters because thesetests catch structural issues
before symptoms appear.
Very, very simple to do.

(09:24):
This is ultrasound technology.
You don't even have to um go toa clinic.
The clinic usually comes to alocal place like uh a convention
center and sets up shop there, and you can schedule and go
there.
Uh, you don't even have to takeyour shirt off.
They do the ultrasound of theneck, uh the abdomen, and uh
oftentimes the uh ankle is whatthey're scanning.

(09:46):
And then for the bone density, they're usually scanning the
heel of the foot.
And remember, the hair tissuemineral analysis portion of the
big five also monitors calciumand phosphorus, which are very
supportive for bone health.
We want to make sure that thoseminerals are staying in the
bones and not being beingexcreted out of the hair.

(10:06):
So for the lifeline screening,no referral needed whatsoever.
Number five, this is a big one, full body MRI, or at minimum a
torso MRI.
You can also have just the headdone.
But this is a non-contrast MRI.
That's the big difference.
And these are done throughgroups like Pronovo or Simon Med

(10:27):
1.
I have no affiliation with them, but those are the two premier
ones that are out there rightnow.
Um, this is no risky radiation,no toxic contrast eye.
And why it matters is because itdetects early stage tumors,
cysts, organ irregularities, anduh anomalies long before
symptoms ever appear.

(10:48):
This is the perfect tool forlongevity and early detection.
Referral uh needs may vary byfacility.
And number six, the Grail test, also known as the gallery test,
the G-A-L-L-E-R-I test.
This is a cutting-edge bloodtest that screens for 50 plus

(11:09):
types of cancer.
And why it matters, drivers over40 or with a family history of
cancer benefit hugely from earlydetection.
And a referral might berequired.
I always say, would you ratherfind out when you have stage
four cancer or when it's uhpre-stage one cancer?
Personally, I'd rather find outearly because there's things

(11:31):
that we can do about that, theearlier the better.
Number seven, the colon cancerfit test, FIT fit test.
This is a stool-based test.
It detects early signs of coloncancer.
Why it matters?
It's fast, it's non-invasive,highly accurate, and recommended
to do yearly.
There's no prep, there's nosedation, and best of all, no uh

(11:52):
colonoscopy needed whatsoever.
Number eight, the VO2 Max plus aCRF test and a grip strength.
You might be wondering why doesthat matter, grip strength, and
what is a CRF test?
Well, we'll talk about that.
The VO2 Max, first of all, measures your maximum oxygen
utilization.
This is one of the toppredictors of longevity.

(12:14):
And wearable technology, such asan Apple Watch, a Garmin watch,
uh, and a couple of others, willmeasure through a mathematical
uh equation your VO2 Max, andit's a great uh predictor for
longevity.
The CRF test that stands forcardiorespiratory fitness, and
this gives you a baseline foryour um your cardiorespirator

(12:37):
respiratory fitness.
Basically, that's what it is.
Um then the grip test.
So surprisingly accuratepredictor of overall strength,
nervous system performance, andyes, even biological age.
And why all this matters?
Because fitness equalsresilience.
And resilience equals fasterrecovery, better focus, and a

(12:57):
longer racing career.
Number nine, an annual physical.
Yeah, back to your PCP.
Get that blood work done alongwith your annual physical, but
with a skin check and an EKG ifthey'll do that.
And this is where your primarycare physician will check for
things like melanoma, skin, abnormalities, of course, blood

(13:18):
pressure, very, very important.
You should be testing your bloodpressure um at home on a regular
basis, anyways, rather thanannually.
Um, and they'll also look forheart rate and heart rhythm.
You can do that at home as well,or with a wearable tech.
Um, and general organ function.
Now, the EKG is recommended, uh,though PCPs often only run it if

(13:39):
symptoms are present.
But remember, Lifeline can alsotest for atrial fibrillation as
well.
No referral needed for thephysical.
And number 10, this is one of myfavorite uh lab tests to run, a
biological age test known as theDNA test.
We run that in-house at VictoryLane Wellness.
This test reveals yourepigenetic age, your longevity

(14:03):
markers, uh, MTHFR variants, which are a methylation marker
uh in your genetics, ApoEgenotype, so we can see your
susceptibility to things likeAlzheimer's, dementia,
Parkinson's.
It also looks at your biologicalage versus your chronological
age, so we can work thatbiological age backwards through

(14:23):
the clinically proven longevityprotocols that we have over at
Victory Lane Wellness.
This lab test also looks at yourdetox capacity, methylation
function, inflammation patterns, and so much more.
And why this matters, this isthe true measure of how well
your body is aging internallyand how fast your cells are

(14:44):
turning over.
Drivers wanting to extend theircareer love this test.
So let's tie it all together.
Here's the truth champions don'twin because they have the best
car, they win because they havethe best internal systems firing
at full capacity.
The off season isn't downtime.
This is health strategy time.

(15:06):
And if you want consistency, longevity, clarity, and power
behind the wheel, these 10vitality tests are an important
part of your high-performancehealth blueprint.
And if you want a partner toguide you through the entire
process, schedule for you, interpret the results, and build
a personalized plan thatactually works, well, that's

(15:29):
what we do over at Victory LaneWellness.
If you're the kind of personwho's ready to understand your
body at the deepest level andoptimize biological performance
for the next season, I inviteyou to take your free high
performance health assessment atvictory lanewellness.com and you
can schedule your complimentaryconsultation right there or in

(15:50):
the show notes.
