(00:22):
Everybody.
Steven Rii here.
Breathe bitch.com.
Thank you for joining us againfor another episode.
This episode is progress, notperfection.
And the thing is, we're justtrying to get you to do that
thing.
Just do it.
Start working on it instead ofthinking about it, just do it.
It does not have to be perfectto get it out there.
Just start going, you get tooperfection by doing the thing.
(00:44):
Simple as that.
So this part of our IG series, and if not familiar with it,
it's what I do is I take one ofmy IG videos, Instagram videos,
and they're only about a minuteand a half long.
Typically.
I gotta rerecord the thingsbecause I have so much I wanna
say in it, and I always go over.
So I gotta rerecord it and shortit down and short it down.
So it'll fit it in that minuteand a half.
(01:05):
But now I get to expand thething and give you guys the full
mindset of where I was in thatvideo.
And so we're gonna play thisvideo real quick.
This clip from the IG series.
And it is about, again, juststarting and doing that thing,
if you've got that goal that'ssomething that lights you up or
whatever the case may be, juststart doing it.
It don't have to be perfect.
(01:26):
Get it out there.
Be bad at it first.
Nothing.
No problem with that.
Alright, so let's go ahead andwe'll play this clip real quick
and.
There we go everybody.
I'm out here at the park todaygoing for a walk.
Some big announcements.
Got some big things happening.
The end of March.
Not gonna tell you what theyare.
There's they keep your eyes out.
(01:48):
Some big things happening.
I'm pretty excited about it.
But if you've been to mywebsite, breathe bitch.com.
It's a mess.
It's an absolute mess.
Links don't work on it.
Bad spelling, bad grammar, youname it like that.
And I've had that site out therefor about a year.
And you might say, Steven, why?
Why would you do such thing?
Why would you launch a site whenit looks like that, I.
Because I'm pretty good with SEOsearch engine optimization, and
I know one of the key factors ofsomething ranking is its age.
(02:11):
So I'm gonna go ahead and throwthat out there.
I knew I was gonna do somethingwith it.
And by the way we're working onit now.
Get looking better.
There's gonna be all kinds ofgreat stuff on there, but we
already rank number one in FortMyers for breath work, sometimes
three in Tampa, sometimes we'rein the second page, Miami back
and forth.
But where am I going with this?
Where I'm going with this is ifthere's something that you're
sitting on that you want to dothat lights you up, but you
(02:33):
wanna make sure it's perfectbefore you launch it, don't go
do that thing.
It does not have to be perfect.
Go launch that thing because Ican promise you this, if you
wait for it to be perfect, it'llnever come to Fruitation.
Go do that thing.
Make it reality because.
Even if you think you've got itfigured out, that game's gonna
change anyway.
So do it.
Get started.
Make it reality and be fluid.
Be fluid and change as you go.
(02:55):
And you'll figure it out as yougo.
So we'll go do that thing thatlights you up and I'm gonna tell
you what, get that passion forlife back again.
It's amazing.
That's all I got for you.
Alright, so that's the IG reel.
Again, check us out onInstagram, breathe bitch, all
kinds of different reels inthere.
I don't make videos out of ourpodcast, out of all of them.
So there's some on there thatyou may be missing.
I.
(03:15):
And may find one or two thatresonate with you might help you
out in a situation.
So keep that in mind.
So again, my intention for thisvideo is that it's gonna help
you just get started to launchthat thing and get moving in a
forward direction so you couldbe the higher version of
yourself and reach that goal ofyours.
As I said you can screw aroundand talk about the thing
(03:36):
forever, but doing the thing iscompletely different.
Now, I know you couldn't seethis if you're listening to the
podcast unless you're watching avideo version of this thing.
I held my cell phone up to themicrophone and that's how I
played that video off ofInstagram.
Now, my original plan was to.
Do a screen recording of it andpaste that in into the video and
(03:59):
into the podcast.
That way for the video versionof it, you'll see the video that
was on Instagram and you guyswill be able to hear it and
it'll roll into it.
But I was having problems withit and I don't know,'cause
sometimes Instagram will blockit.
If you have background music, which I did have background
music on that one.
They'll block the downloads orthey'll, when you download it,
(04:19):
they'll be silent.
I tried to do a screen recordingof a couple different ones and
for some reason it may have beenthe internet at that point in
time, or may have been mycomputer, or may have been
Instagram, I don't know.
But it was giving me hangups.
And you know what I said, Icould have tried it again today,
but I just said, screw it.
Let's move forward with it.
Let's get it done.
Because I set myself a deadlineon getting some of these
podcasts done and that was gonnahold me up.
(04:42):
And I'm not screwing around.
I'm doing it.
So that's why I just held thephone up.
There might've been a littleghetto, but I don't care.
That's just how we operatesometimes.
Sometimes we gotta get a littleghetto to get things done.
Simple as that.
Nothing wrong with that.
So simple as that.
There's a big difference intalking about the thing, walking
about the thing, thinking aboutthe thing, laying around about
(05:05):
the thing, but doing the thing.
Is the thing that gets you whereyou want to be.
Simple as that.
And again, I could have beensitting here and researching
different ways how to get thatvideo off of Instagram and all
this thing.
But I didn't, I said, let's justdo it.
Lets, let's move forward withit.
So you need to find your thingthat you lights you up.
(05:25):
That's what you need to do.
You need to find something thatlights you up and move forward
to it.
And.
This is not part of the bookthat we're working on, but this
will definitely be a part of thebook.
This is, again, this is on my IGseries, but so we've got another
series going on as well too.
If you're not familiar with it,it's called Breathe Bitch, your
Journey to Peace, power, andPurpose.
And definitely in that purposesection we're gonna, have things
(05:47):
in, things that you can look atthat possibly might light you
up?
Goals, we definitely want you tofind that thing that lights you
up.
Breathe, bitch lights me up.
I love to be able to help peopleout.
This is what that it's really,it's been life changing for me.
I cannot believe, you know howmany times I wake up to messages
in the morning from somebody whowatched all my videos or
something like that justhappened this morning.
(06:07):
I woke up and a woman said, ohmy gosh, I'm so glad I found
your videos.
I was in this horriblenarcissist relationship da.
And some of your videos reallyresonated with me and they
really helped me out.
That lights me up.
That lights me up.
I'm like, man, I don't even knowwho she is, but my video helped
her out and I sent her some moreadvice as well too.
And I told her to keep watching.
We're gonna have some thingsthat's definitely gonna be help
(06:28):
her out.
So you gotta find that thingthat lights you up.
What is that thing?
And you might say I don't have athing.
What is your talent?
What do you do?
There's so many different thingsout there.
Do you read?
Do you like to read?
Okay you might as well.
Okay.
How do I kinda help Read To theBlind?
That's something that mightlight you up, read to the blind
read to the elderly who, whodon't want to read anymore,
(06:50):
can't read whatever the case maybe.
Especially in a memory carearea.
Are you good at math?
Like, why is that gonna help meTutor?
You can tutor.
There's so many different thingsyou can do to help people out.
Now the things I'm gonna mentionare gonna be helping people out
'cause that's what lights me up.
But it doesn't have to besomething like that.
It's whatever it is that lightsyou up.
To me there's no better giftthan helping other people out.
That, to me is true.
(07:10):
Success is the success is gradedby how many people your success
is rated, excuse me, by how manypeople you help out.
And that's just how I live mylife.
But it, you may live your alittle bit differently.
And again, so you could dotutoring if you're a handyman,
you could do some free servicesfor somebody or help somebody
out do to reduce paid services.
(07:32):
'cause I know you gotta pay formaterial and all that stuff.
Gardening maybe you like togarden, like how am I gonna
garden and donate some of yourvegetables to some needy
families.
Simple as that.
But the trick is to start doingthe thing.
Get that thing done.
Now you might say I live upnorth, I live in south Florida.
There you can only have a gardenyear round.
Just depends on what you'replanting.
But maybe up north, got'ssnowing, I can't I can't garden
(07:55):
now.
Okay, can you start germinatingthe seeds inside?
Can you start doing that?
Lay out your groundwork or goout there and start digging up
the soil, turn tilling the soil.
Or laying out the area ormapping out what you wanna do.
Do something, work on thatthing, write a plan out.
But I will tell you this, writing a plan out and doing
those other things is notactually doing a thing.
You gotta do the thing.
(08:16):
Especially if you're doingsomething like this with a
podcasting or working on thewebsite by the way, we did get
our website straightened out.
It's not completely it's an everevolving process.
And then we're gonna talk aboutthat here in just a little bit
too.
But, doing the thing and talkingabout the thing again, are two
different things.
That was, I could sit down andresearch and I do, I research
for all these podcasts that Ido.
'cause, even though I might knowa lot of this information, I
(08:37):
still want to get some of thebest and latest information I
possibly can to you guys.
So I research more before I doone of these podcasts, and I
could spend all day doing it.
And I did.
And when I first started out Ispent so much time doing it and
I spent weeks on one particularsubject and I'm like.
How much more can I know aboutthis thing?
(08:57):
I'm like, just go freaking dothe thing.
And you get this mental blocksometimes.
I don't know if you're like me,but sometimes I get this mental
block that I, this holds me backfrom doing this thing.
And you just gotta release that.
Just once you start getting pastthat block, it opens up a flood
gate and you know the differencebetween working on it and
working around it.
Simple as that.
So like I said, do that thing.
(09:18):
Start advertising for thatthing.
Start advertising for it.
I'm big about that.
Things that I start doing andI've got, I've got a couple
different companies.
I got a couple different thingsthat I do.
Start advertising for it, andeven if you're not ready to do
it, because again, that helpswith the SEO, it gets your name
out there.
I would rather turn away acustomer and say, Hey, we're not
(09:39):
ready for you yet.
And now you're building up yourdatabase.
Say, I'm not ready for you yet,but we will soon.
Thank you for reaching out andlet me hold you in onto your
information and when we'reready, I'm gonna let you know.
Simple as that.
I would much rather that thanspend all this time, years and
effort and this and that andhave this polished, perfect
thing and release it and thencrickets.
(10:01):
Okay.
Then find having somebody, sometwinkling in.
That's why I did the website theway I did.
I did the website.
Heck, it was out there a yearbefore we really did anything
with it.
I just had other things going onin life and I would work on it a
little bit just for SEO purposesand we ranked pretty good.
We ranked pretty good with it.
You know it's ever rankings,never.
(10:21):
Ever continuing battle, but but,I feel comfortable with where
we're ranking at, especially atthis age in time on it.
Again, so get your stuff outthere, build you a Facebook page
for it, whatever the case maybe, Instagram page for it.
All kinds of different thingsyou can do to get out there.
Maybe you wanna be, maybe youwanna be a yoga instructor.
Go take the yoga classes andstart advertising for the.
(10:44):
Find out if you wanna work for astudio.
I know a lot of yoga stocks, theones that I actually go to yeah,
only, yeah, I don't really go toany studios anymore.
They do it on their own.
They do it in the parks.
And I used to go to studios allthe time, and I prefer, this is
just my preferences.
I prefer somebody who's not in astudio because the studio's.
Seem to be so regimented.
(11:05):
And I hate to say like robotic,it's just okay, downward dog,
that or that blah, blah, blah, blah, blah.
Where these individuals that Iuse, and they were, they all
work together.
So they all teach the samestyle.
It's just a, it's more of aspiritual flow.
They just go with what's goingon and what's happening in the
moment.
And it's not just, here's thebook, here's what we did.
This is the five poses I gotlaid out for us to do today.
(11:27):
And blah, blah, blah.
They just wing, wing it off thetop of their heads, but they're
good like that, but so again, they find places that, that they
do this ad and by doing so, theyget to reap more profit that
way.
So advertise that thing.
So again, if you're gonna be ayoga instructor, start
advertising for it.
Whatever the case may be,whoever you're doing.
Start a order.
Some shirts, like this shirt Igot on now.
I got a Breathe bitch shirt onright now.
(11:47):
You can get these things off ofAmazon, you can get'em made
locally, and you just get one ortwo of'em made.
There you go, start advertisingyour thing.
Again, like I said, theimportant thing is to just start
doing that thing.
It does not have to be perfect.
This is a bold move in life andit doesn't matter what you're
doing, but this is a bold movein life.
(12:08):
You have to be willing to go andbe bad at something.
Go do that thing and be bad atit.
And don't worry about who'slooking,'cause nobody's looking.
Go be bad at that thing.
Pick yourself up, dust your off, dust yourself off, and go move
forward and then go be good atit.
And then fall again and dustyourself off and went and move
(12:30):
forward and go be great at it.
Simple as that.
That's the progression, everysuccessful person I know, you
know when I do a lot of, we usedto go to a lot of business
conferences and stuff like that, and the saying was, I.
Every successful person hasfailed.
They just failed more than theperson who gave up.
They keep failing and justgetting theirselves up and dust
themselves off, and that's howyou get perfect is by doing
(12:52):
those things.
So go out there, be bad at thatthing, then go be good at that
thing, and then go be great atthat thing.
So don't be scared, don't worry.
I'm gonna tell you right now, nobody is looking.
They'll say, and it says dancelike nobody's watching.
Guess what?
I got news for you.
Nobody's watching, and I'm gonnatalk about this a little bit
later, but you know what?
There is a hundred, and I justsaid this in one of my classes
the other night.
There is 111 Nobel Peace Prizewinners.
(13:15):
Can you name three of them?
Can you name three of thoseNobel Peace Prizes?
Prize winners?
Probably not.
Maybe one, maybe two.
But I guarantee you can't namethree.
And this was the biggest day ofthese individual's lives.
These were events thatobviously.
Impacted society themselves iswhy they get these awards, the
things that we do, and we don'teven know their name.
(13:36):
We don't even know their name.
And I'm not trying to say thisto make you feel bad, but I'm
just trying to tell you that ifwe don't know what they've done
and it was the most importantthing in their life, the most
life changing thing theyprobably have ever done.
The massive recognition of thisthing, this life changing thing
that's impacted society.
We don't know their name.
Nobody's watching you.
I can promise you that nobody'swatching you.
(13:57):
Go fail.
Go.
Go out there and land flat onyour face, baby.
Then pick yourself up.
Smile, dust yourself off, and godo it again.
And land on your elbows thistime, and then scrape'em up a
little bit.
Get up.
With a bigger smile on yourface, get yourself off and just
stumble down to the knees thenext time.
And the next time, guess what?
(14:17):
You'll catch yourself.
You catch yourself.
'cause then you're being great.
So go do that thing.
Don't.
Don't mess around.
Don't mess around.
Don't be scared to go do it.
Simple as that.
There will be somebody who'sgonna make fun of you.
Screw them.
You know what?
What are they doing?
I can guarantee, I can promiseyou this.
I can promise you this.
(14:37):
If anybody makes fun of you, they are not doing a thing.
Simple as that.
They're sitting back watching TVevery night.
They're not doing anything.
'cause anybody who's doneanything of any kind of success
in their life will look at youand see where you're at in your
journey and recognize themselvesin that journey.
And say, oh, yep, I've beenthere.
And they may even throw you someencouraging words.
(14:58):
So don't yeah.
Would you fail?
The great people will recognizethat, hey, they're coming up,
they're coming up, they're doingexactly what I did when I
started out.
So again, don't ever beembarrassed about what you do.
That is just some sort of mentalblock that we have in our own
head.
Simple as that.
So hear about some tips on howto go and do that thing, how to
(15:21):
get started on that thing.
Here's a, here's one I likethis, that says, lower the bar
start ugly.
Lower the bar, start ugly Again.
Like I said, it does not have tobe perfect in any way.
Be rough, messy, that's what thebeginning's all about.
That's what the beginning's allabout.
Any carving, think about anystatue that was made.
It's gotta start, starts outugly.
(15:41):
You know when somebody started,Michelangelo started some
beautiful statue they wereworking on, first couple people
walked by okay, yep.
Looks like a big old rock to me.
But they weren't there timeafter time, and maybe they did
come back and say, oh wow, whatare this beautiful.
Sculpture come from.
It just takes time.
Just takes time.
And, one of the problems too isyou gotta let go of that instant
(16:02):
gratification mindset.
It takes time to be great atsomething, but here's the thing.
And if you're doing somethingthat, if time, which everything
takes time at, but if you'redoing something that seems a
little bit harder than what youthought it would be.
I want you to embrace that'causeI certainly do.
Now this is something that justpopped in my head, but I'm so
(16:22):
glad it did because this is suchan important message right here.
If you're doing something.
I don't care what it is.
I don't care if you're startinga building company, you're
starting something and you'relike, oh, this takes far more
permits than I thought it wasever gonna take.
Or this takes far more time todo this than I ever thought it
was.
Doing a Bo a podcast, it took alot more stuff that I thought
(16:45):
than it it was gonna take to doit than I thought.
But when you run into thosewalls, those barriers, I want
you to embrace that.
Be like, okay, this is good.
This is a good thing.
And you might say why is this agood thing?
Because this is a barrier thatI.
10% of the people are not gonnacross.
They're gonna give up rightthere.
(17:06):
And then when you hit that nextbarrier, say, okay good.
The bigger the barrier, thebetter it is.
And I want you to know that, andI want you to push through that
barrier because that barrier iswhat holds people back.
And when it holds people back.
That's great, because then thatallows you to even enter closer
to that greatness on the otherside because those barriers,
again, cut the week away andyou're strong and you're gonna
(17:29):
push through it, and you'regonna be great because you just
keep getting up, dustingyourself off and moving forward.
Simple as that.
So that's really the gist of itthat you just, you know, you
don't let.
Society laugh at you because ifthey're laughing, those aren't
the people that you're lookingup to.
Because those people willacknowledge where you're at and
(17:50):
recognize themselves in thatbarriers, embrace them.
Those are good things.
They're great things becausethat holds the rest of the
people back.
That's what you want.
'cause some things are easy.
Have very easy low barrierentries, and those are tough to
get into because the masses getinto'em.
But if you take it deeper anddeeper, get across those
barriers, that's the beautifulpart about it.
(18:11):
And so that separates you fromthe rest.
So simple as that.
So this is where we're gonna goand start widening it down a
little bit.
I just hope that motivates youto go do that thing.
Again, whatever that may thingmay be, maybe you wanna go be a
yoga instructor and help peopleout find mindfulness.
Maybe you wanna be a breath workinstructor which you can go to
our website and we willeventually have something on
(18:32):
there to teach people to beinstructors on that as well too.
Or we got a special thing at theend of this book that we're
working on.
I think I did mention that atthe beginning of this, the book
that we're working on is BreatheBitch, your Journey to Peace,
power, and Purpose.
And we're gonna have somethingthat people can actually
workshops that they can presentof the book.
And that'll be on our website.
And that's the first time Imentioned that.
(18:52):
So there you go.
A little sneak peek of that.
And that book should be done bythe end of the year, hopefully.
So whether it be something likethat or whatever the case may
be, tutoring, whatever the casemay be, go do that thing.
Just start doing it now.
Simple as that.
Don't wait.
Just go do that thing.
Alright, so this is where we'retypically gonna take questions
from viewers, and again, we'rejust starting out so we don't
(19:13):
have any questions in yet.
So what you would do if youwanna submit a question, if you
need some mindful advice onsomething, go at our website,
breathe bitch.com.
Scroll down to the podcastsection right there.
Hit the button and that willtake you to the podcast page.
On the podcast page, you'regonna see a spot where you can
fill out information.

State that you're in and you'regonna put in a little message.
(19:35):
We will not use your name, yourlast name on the on the air
here, but we'll use your firstname and what state you're from
and we will try to address yoursituation, trying to look at it
through a mindful lens.
We have the arms WRrelationships, and sometimes as
you just need that somebodywho's not all caught up in it
and who can step back and take alook and say, hey.
This is the perspective.
(19:56):
Maybe you're right, maybe you'rewrong.
Maybe this is how you need tolook at things.
We'll do our best we can to giveyou our opinion on the
situation.
And again, this is just strictlyour opinion on it.
It's not any type ofprofessional advice, but this is
just some mindful advice.
I've helped plenty of peopleout.
So if you got a situation youwanna submit, submit it again.
