(00:18):
I heard the starters. I broke the sky, chased a shadow
through the night. Every heartbeat, every truth, I

(00:42):
called my soul to carry you. I would have died for you.
You by the world to see through.Well hello ladies and gentlemen,

(01:06):
my name is Brett King from GOD TV Radio.
I hope you're all having a wonderful day.
My wife is having her birthday today and my birthday will be
coming in December, Christmas. Oh goodness gracious, did it
have to be? Well, I guess I figured I would

(01:26):
share the story of how me and mywife met and talked about it a
long time ago, but I'll share again.
So I was visiting my mother and I decided that I was going to
take a trip into town. And it's I'm not going to tell

(01:48):
you what town I met her in or whatever.
But what happened was I went to town and walked around and
eventually I came around this corner and I seen this beautiful
woman that was sitting up on a balcony with her friend.
I recognized her friend because her friend was used to go to

(02:11):
school with me. I had been out of high school
for a little bit, but I still remembered some of the people
that I had hung out with and well, it turned out after I got
to talking to them both that thegirl was actually a step sister,
not actually a friend at all, ofDawn.

(02:35):
Well, I seen her up on the balcony.
She had pretty brown hair, beautiful body, beautiful little
face, and I basically convinced her to let me come up there.
We were total strangers, but sheliked me and I liked her and
well, we ended up talking and everything like that and I found

(02:58):
out that she was having a tough time.
She had moved out of her father's home and he was hooked
up with her stepmother and she didn't get along with step
stepmother too well. So we ended up talking about
that and she said I'm kind of ina bind.

(03:19):
And I said, what's the bind? She goes, well, I don't have a
vehicle and my job is way beyondwalking distance.
And I told her, I said, well, I have an apartment, I have a
place, and if you want to, you can come live with me.
And she was like, really? And I said she was, why would

(03:42):
you do that for me? And I said, well, you're the
most beautiful woman I've ever seen, so it would be foolish of
me to not invite you, especiallysince you're having all this
trouble. So do you want to, you know, be
in a relationship and live with me and all that kind of stuff?

(04:03):
I had went back and forth to herplace for the last two weeks and
all that. It wasn't just right.
The same are on the first day that I offered all this, but she
said yes and packed her stuff and we ended up bringing her
into my town where I lived and we pretty much lived happily

(04:29):
ever after. We enjoyed each other's company,
we treated each other like friends.
And eventually we would get married and we had two children.
We've got a son who is now almost 30 years old.
We've got a daughter who's a little over 20 years old.
And my kids are beautiful. They look just like their mother

(04:52):
and I'm glad they didn't pick upany of my looks or they would
have been in trouble in life. But they're both attractive kids
and they're both extremely intelligent.
They obviously got that from their mother as well.
And I've always been proud of her.
She's always had my back. She's always been loyal,

(05:17):
trustworthy, good, kind, big heart.
The only thing that I always I've always had an issue with
was how her family didn't seem to be wanting to be involved
with her. Me and her had a lot of things
we could identify with. I had a lot of family besides my
brother and sister who didn't want to be involved, didn't want

(05:40):
to talk or associate or anythinglike that.
It was nothing like the nuclear families that I stand for.
I think that family should be together and they should connect
with each other and they should love each other.
But I didn't come from a family like that and neither did my
wife. But as a mother and father, as

(06:05):
husband and wife, we gave our kids every opportunity they
could possibly have. And we stayed together through
thick and thin and we raised ourkids well and we're very proud
of our children. I'm proud of my wife for all the
success and all the good things that she's been able to
accomplish. She's helped me accomplish a

(06:27):
great deal of things as well. She has helped me with music,
She's helped me with writing of my books.
She's been very supportive and Icouldn't think of a better
woman. She's beautiful, big heart,
intelligent. She's got everything that you

(06:47):
could ask for it. To me, she is my perfection.
She is my missus, right? She is living proof, including
my children, that angels do exist and that God is real.
And, you know, I plan on living the rest of my life with her.

(07:07):
And obviously, at some point in time, when we leave this world,
we'll most likely leave it together as well.
And that is that, ladies and gentlemen, that's the story.
I'm a little tired right now, but I just wanted to talk about
the most precious woman in my life.

(07:29):
God bless, ladies and gentlemen.
