For all the New Kids who’ve recently joined our merry band of BWW rabble-rousers, a hearty Welcome Aboard. Here’s a little background on podcasts and, specifically, Don Williams.
Don and I have been buds since the early 1990s when he was a Smithsonian Institute Curator and I was a DC radio Talk Show host. I will always be indebted to Don for introducing me to Walter Williams, who went on to become one of my best friends and regular talk show guests. There are several podcasts with Don in the BWW Achieves.
Podcasts are posted when time and opportunity align, which explains their infrequency.
Since the Beginning of BWW, we have been plagued with technical issues due to mutual Ignorance of Host and/or Guest, the vicissitudes of various platforms, software glitches, and Donald Trump. This is one of those times when someone’s camera or another ZOOM update or Donald Trump’s tariffs invaded our space, maligning the Video portion but, thankfully, preserving the audio.
My apologies. Maybe next time, the Tech Planets X and O will cooperate.

CrimeLess: Hillbilly Heist
It’s 1996 in rural North Carolina, and an oddball crew makes history when they pull off America’s third largest cash heist. But it’s all downhill from there. Join host Johnny Knoxville as he unspools a wild and woolly tale about a group of regular ‘ol folks who risked it all for a chance at a better life. CrimeLess: Hillbilly Heist answers the question: what would you do with 17.3 million dollars? The answer includes diamond rings, mansions, velvet Elvis paintings, plus a run for the border, murder-for-hire-plots, and FBI busts.
