In Episode 6, I tell the story of how I was diagnosed with a heart condition in middle school! I tell the story from the day I was diagnosed and even recall events after it. I thought everything was going to be all fine but when your heart beats abnormally for the longest time and then suddenly stops it does have an after effect of like an achy feeling. But that should go away. And now i am typing this the next day and i did go to school and it’s almost as if nothing happened. I went from school to my pediatrician to the ER all in one day which eventually led me to getting an EKG and getting diagnosed. I share how listening to your body is crucial when you have multiple medical conditions. This is especially true for women, because of the gender bias that exists in the field of medicine. Specifically during SVT, women faced the additional difficulty of being believed. The study from the National Library of Medicine concluded that providers minimized women's symptoms which led them to go undiagnosed for some time.

Are You A Charlotte?
In 1997, actress Kristin Davis’ life was forever changed when she took on the role of Charlotte York in Sex and the City. As we watched Carrie, Samantha, Miranda and Charlotte navigate relationships in NYC, the show helped push once unacceptable conversation topics out of the shadows and altered the narrative around women and sex. We all saw ourselves in them as they searched for fulfillment in life, sex and friendships. Now, Kristin Davis wants to connect with you, the fans, and share untold stories and all the behind the scenes. Together, with Kristin and special guests, what will begin with Sex and the City will evolve into talks about themes that are still so relevant today. "Are you a Charlotte?" is much more than just rewatching this beloved show, it brings the past and the present together as we talk with heart, humor and of course some optimism.
