Juliet sits down with Lacie Newell, a mother who was held at gunpoint by the US Marshall Service for trying to protect her child. Lacie went into hiding because she was trying to protect her child from being further abused by the father. It was during this time that the US Marshalls found her in Santa Barbara and forcibly removed the child at gunpoint while she was 9 months pregnant. She is currently fighting these unjust charges and hasn't seen her child since 2020. This is yet another tragic story that has become all to familiar.
