No spoilers! We saw an early screening of Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse with directors Lord and Miller and it was the best movie we've seen so far this year. That is not something the BFP gang says lightly. We don't give anything away that you don't already know from the trailer and other reviews, but we do talk about the incredible animation, the heartfelt story, and the music. It hits theaters June 2.
We also recap the Succession finale and like many of you, were glad to see Tom at the helm of Waystar/GoJo.
And we're giving you an HONEST review of The Little Mermaid (Halle Bailey, Melissa McCarthy) and whether you should spend your money on this remake, or wait until it hits Disney+ in a few weeks. (Hint: Just wait!)
And Chris recommends everyone check out the new Foo Fighters single “Show Me How” from their new album, But Here We Are. The single, which incorporates dream-pop and shoegaze elements is the first album since the untimely passing of drummer Taylor Hawkins.
