Screenlife has been solidified as a bonafide film style thanks in large part to its pioneers and its knack for turning small budgets into large box office profits.
 
Screenlife films present stories through the screens of our familiar digital devices like laptops, tablets, and smartphones giving the audience a familiar point of view as we spend countless hours of our lives on these devices.

2018s Searching, starring John Cho, was a massive box office success earning $75 million dollars against an $800,000 budget.  So naturally, the film was ripe for sequel, and in 2023, the film Missing starring 19 year old Storm Reid was released in the theaters earning praise by critics and audience alike.
