The son of a Black police officer and a white public-school teacher, Dr. Hall narratives his experiences growing up and the lessons he learned from his parents.
We also talk about our shared experiences of using our privilege to challenge stereotypes and the status quo. Finally, we reflect on our experiences with fatherhood and manhood, as we navigate a society deeply shaped by Eurocentric and patriarchal values.
