Bryan Community Church is a new United Methodist congregation in Bryan, Texas. We are committed to love God, love people, and share Christ's hope with the world.

Have you ever felt overworked and underappreciated? Jesus was underappreciated, too. Luke 22:36-40 tells how Jesus healed 10 lepers, and only one returned to say "Thank you".
As followers of Jesus, we are called to be givers, willing to go out of our way to serve and help others. But, we should also take the time to say "Thank you" to those who serve and do for us. This includes thanking and praising God!
As Jesus followers, what does it mean to be generous? God gave us many examples of how to give to those we love. Because everything we have was given to us by God, we are called to follow in His image of loving and giving to those around us. We have to make a choice each day to be generous with our things, our time, and our gifts.
Paster Jen shares the parable of the bags of gold. We must ask ourselves, what are we doing with the gifts God has entrusted to us? Are we using and multiplying them or are we burying our gifts?
