Speaker 1 (00:01):
Hey you welcome to Build the Damned Thing, a place

coaches show you how to use yourstory to build it all.
Whether it's your first sixfigures, your next layer of
multiple six figures, or maybeyou're on your way to a minute,

and if it's not, that it's thelife of your dreams, where you
are free, you are strong and youare whole.
First, we're going to show youhow to use your story to build a
strong foundation, and then, next, we're going to show you
how to use your story in salesand marketing to clean up the
cracks.
And last but not least, we'regoing to show you how to use
your story to gather people, because the truth of the matter

(00:44):
is that there's nothing strongerthan being connected to people
who just understand you as youare where you are, so you can
stop explaining yourself.
I want to remind you that, nowthat you're here, you are home
and I officially welcome you toour family.
All right, let's get started.
Welcome to All Things Money.

(01:07):
I'm so excited.
Let me make sure we're livehere on Instagram, because this
is going to be new for me Now.
The truth is that there's AllThings Money.
There's two or three ways thatI want you to think about money,
and here's what's excitingwe're going to be here all week.
I made a decision to do thisbecause last week, I was in the

(01:29):
mountains with some of theseamazing women who flew in from
all across the world and othercountries to spend back door
time with me.
In this space of more, whatdoes it mean to want more?
What does it mean to desiremore?
What does it mean to ask formore?
And it's like my gosh everytime in 2023, 2022, that I ran

(01:49):
across great humans who werejust what's the right word?
I feel like they were trying tomake apologies to other people
for wanting more and I thoughtthat that was ridiculous.
Now, all summer long, I'm goingto be going through what does
it mean to actually want more,to have more, to leverage more,
to seek more.

(02:09):
But I decided today that thisweek is going to be All Things
Money.
If you stay plugged into us, doDTDT Nation or you can find me
personally at Tiffany Largy insome way, shape, form or figure,
you'll be dialed into differentcontent that's going in

(02:29):
different places as we areteaching what is the money game,
the money strategy, and how dowe?
One of the coolest things everis me being reminded last week
that we are stronger together.
Now, this is not going to be amotivational journey.
This is going to be me breakingdown these three concepts of
money how do I keep?
How do I make more money?
How do I?

(02:51):
What do I do with money once Ihave it?
And then the third part of itis how do I keep more of the
money that I'm making?
I can't tell you how sick itmakes me sometimes when I look
at great humans who are justspending money and not
leveraging more of the moneythat they're spending, and it
sounds nuts.
It sounds like we have thiswhole game wrapped up, but I'm

(03:12):
going to tell you.
Imagine if you could make thesame amount of money that you
made last year.
You make it this year, butsomehow you're 25% richer.
The name of the game is more, not more work, not more drama,
not more of what we don't want, more of what our heart is vying

(03:33):
for.
Like I got to a point a coupleof years ago where I got sick
and tired of trying to makeaccommodations for what I wasn't
what I felt, people trying tomake me feel guilty for wanting
more.
And there's this idea out there, especially when it comes to
women, that we can't have more,we can't want more, because it's
taboo it does.

(03:55):
There's not really a place forit, especially when we're a
caregiver.
We're just supposed to give andgive, and give, and give and
give, and then it's bad if wehave a moment of wanting.
Now we take strides into saying, oh, I'm going to dive into
self-care and that is me feedingmy want.
But is it really?
If you think about the moneythat you've made or the moves

(04:18):
that you've made and at DTDTNation, we're very, very clear
that it's all about making bossmoves and wherever you are right
now, I'm going to ask you toentertain me on social media, as
this is my first time doing aweek and a very long time, and
I'm going to ask you to writethe words boss moves only inside
of whatever chat you haveaccess to Throughout every

(04:40):
single day.
I'm going to be doing two things.
One, I'm going to be lookingfor the person who was
commenting or connecting orasking questions the most and
I'm going to send them a gift.
Every day, I'm going to choosea person, send them a gift.
I'm going to highlight theirname to at least 10,000 people
that are on our list.
That is first.
The second thing is I'm goingto be responding to all the

(05:02):
questions and all of thecomments.
So if you have a very specificquestion and you have a comment,
please go ahead and ask thequestion, because the number one
thing that I needed was thegame.
How do I do it?
There is excuses that we canmake about how I did or did not
get it done, or there is man, Ijust, I just.

(05:23):
So let me give you this analogythis morning we brought in
these two creamers.
Now what's interesting is thatif I said to the team, if I said
to everybody hey, we have thesetwo creamers here.
These both look like reallygreat bottles of something that
I can put in my coffee, but thetruth of the matter is that so

(05:44):
often we settle for whatever isavailable.
Now I'm going to get into money, but first I got to get into how
your mind's working aroundmoney, how your mind's working
around the value, around money, because the truth is that this
is available.
Now let's just say one of thethings that I love the most is
that I won't say their namebecause I want to respect them.
But we have someone who we'repraying for on a regular basis

(06:04):
who drinks cold coffee all thetime, and what's wild and true
about this cold coffee endeavoris that they walk into the
office, they see the things thatare available, they stop what
they're doing and most of thetime they head to some form of a
store to go get ice becausethey have decided in their life
that they're not going to drinkhot coffee.

(06:26):
Now, even though I'm concernedand worried about the person
who's not drinking hot coffee, Ijust want to.
I want to publicly make surethat that's documented.
It doesn't change the fact thatthey make a decision not to
settle for what's in front ofthem.
My very first statement before Igetting even into money and all
of these amazing notes thatI've written for you If you walk

(06:47):
in and you're and you say toyourself you know what well,
this is fantastic.
I'm really grateful that youguys have this sweet cream,
natural bliss, real milk andcreamer.
But I really only drink oatmilk.
I really only enjoy oat milk.
There was a video that I did acouple of months ago, because I
walked into a Starbucks and inthe Starbucks there was creamer.

(07:10):
I mean, there wasn't anycreamer and there weren't any
outlets.
And I was really pissed offwhen I got inside of this thing
because I'm like why didStarbucks open their doors if
they don't have espresso, theydon't have creamer, they don't
have oat milk, soy milk, regularmilk, whole milk, I think they
only had.
I think they only had coconutmilk.

(07:32):
I thought to myself that'sreally bold.
I was in this location in LosAngeles and they were out of six
out of the seven melts.
Now I thought to myself I couldhave settled, like the other
people who were there and gottena coffee with coconut milk, but
I know that I wouldn't haveenjoyed it.
My very first statement before Iget deeper into just money.
It's like, man, what if youspent the rest of this year not

(07:53):
doing the things that you don'treally enjoy doing because you
just don't want to do them?
What if you stopped settlingfor whatever dollar was
available to you just becauseyou thought that that was or
wasn't the only dollar?
Every single chapter of my lifeI have reflected on not only
how I made money, but what haveI done with money once I've made

(08:14):
it, and it started for memaking a decision to not settle
for whatever was in front of me.
I have to just put that there.
I don't know where you areright now, and I do know that
you've settled for regular milkcream, even though you really
wanted oat milk at least one toomany times in the last 45 days.

(08:35):
I know you've drank hot coffeeeven though you wanted cold
coffee.
I know that you have settled.
I'm asking you right now tostop.
Regardless of where you are, what I am gonna tell you is that
this series is going to eithershow you how to take to finish
this year and take more of thedollars that you have and to

(08:58):
make them go further.
It's either going to show youthe easy money that you're
leaving on the table that youcan implement immediately,
because that's my guarantee.
Everything that I'm gonna teachyou can implement, and at least
24, if not 48 hours.
My goal is that you're donewith it and can see and touch it
within a week.
No matter what platform you'rewatching this on.

(09:21):
There will be no replays andwe're gonna pull these down, and
all of these are headed intoour DTDTU, which is our
community-based foundationaltraining, in which we teach all
things money, mindset and more.

(09:42):
I wanna start with what are youdoing with money.
If you take the dollars thatare out of your bank account and
I'm gonna do a high level thenext four days I'm gonna break
them down into micro pieces.
But I wanna give you thesethree really simple things to
think about.
Number one you have to have.
You have to think to yourself, like for me, every dollar that I

(10:06):
spend, every dollar that Ispend, no matter if it's in the
business or me personally I'mlooking for a percentage of it
to come back to me.
If I had to the location, thething, the place, and it's $100,
and I let go of all $100, and Idon't get any of them back.
That means that every year orevery month or every quarter, I

(10:27):
have to work harder.
The name of the game is notworking harder the game, the
name of the game is not workingharder.
Am I the only one who's likelet's just not work harder?
The name of the game is notonly not working harder, the
name of the game, and I wannamake sure I can see.
Can I see the actual messagesmyself?

(10:49):
Can I see the data myself?
Okay, okay.
So Got it To the platform, gotit Okay, even if I enter, and

(11:09):
actually Facebook is more.
You have free people that arenot.
Okay, that's fine, no problem.
So I wanna see, can you just?
Oh, there's no way for me to dothis, okay, there's not gonna
be a way for me to do it, noproblem.
So for every dollar that I'mspending, I wanna make sure that

(11:31):
a percentage of it comes back.
Let me ask you this number onehow much of every dollar?
I want you to set a goal, Iwant you to set an idea, how
much of every dollar that youspend.
I don't care if it's on rent, Idon't care if it's on gas, I
don't care if it's on food.
So here are the areas orcategories that I'm looking for
dollars to come back on.

(11:51):
I'm looking for dollars to comeback on gas.
I'm looking for dollars to comeback on food.
I'm looking for dollars to comeback on entertainment, hotels,
flights those five categories.
If there was a six, it supplies.
Now the extreme or side area isgonna be every so often, every
once in a while, when it comesto my kids, or I've gotta buy

(12:14):
those kids shoes and things likethat.
Yes, sure, but I want you tothink of building a system.
The first thing you need tolike the first thing, the
strongest thing that everybodycould do right now is to take a
moment and build a way for youto get some form of dollars back
, no matter what you spend.

(12:36):
I took about three or fourhours this year and I built a
system.
Now I've had multiple systemsalong the way, but as tools,
apps, become more sophisticated,I'm like, oh my gosh, we can do
that.
Like the other day I waslooking at an app that I have
and I have this app where we getcash back on gas.
And this morning they sent mean email I almost wanna show you

(12:59):
the email, the email sent to meand this morning, that we can
get a dollar back on every gasof Gallant.
Now stay with a Gallant of Gas.
Now stay with me.
That doesn't sound like a bigdeal.
But for the person who's likeman, I need more help.
I'm trying to hire someone tohelp me.
For the person who's like Ihate cooking, I flipping, hate
cooking and I'm frustrated doingit.

(13:20):
And you're like man Iabsolutely I hate cooking, I
hate cleaning.
I don't wanna do all thesethings myself.
Or maybe you're like none ofthat, I just wanna go somewhere,
I wanna get away, and you'relooking for the money within
your budget to do so and it'snot there.
Let me tell you where it'shiding.
It's hiding inside of the cashthat you're leaving with other

(13:40):
people.
I just gave you the five areasthat you should be getting some
form of dollars back.
Now someone is gonna tell meTiffany, will I get those
dollars back with my credit card?
Here is so much more money toget back than just with your
credit card.
So, first statement, firstthought, first thing I'm gonna
ask you to make a note heresomewhere there's more money to

(14:04):
get back than just with mycredit card.
Credit card cashbacks andthings like that, whether it's
American or American Express orAmerican Airlines, they're all
great, they're fantastic, andthere is a way and name to that
game.
That's good.
But there are even easier waysfor me than keeping track of
with one and moving thingsaround, and so I wanna give you

(14:28):
the categories again gas, foodsupplies, hotel flights and
supplies.
And then the seventh categorywould be shoes, shoes, clothes,
accessories, things like that.
Nothing is more frustrating forme than to think of how much
money we leave on the table Now,if it's 2 to 3% or 10%.

(14:53):
I'm aiming for about 10%.
10% of $100,000 is $10,000.
Am I right?
It's Monday morning.
It's Monday morning, 10% of$100,000 is $10,000.
So if you're running a businessor you have a six figure life

(15:15):
right now and you spend $100,000doing all the things in your
life, imagine if at the end ofthe year you had an extra 10K
just sitting somewhere.
Cut the number in half.
Imagine if you had enough fiveK just sitting somewhere.
A couple of months ago, I wasbewildered when I looked into an

(15:39):
app and I saw that I had acouple hundred dollars to go
spend in gift cards.
And I was like this is crazy, because I can use these gift
cards to go to Starbucks, I cango to Home Depot, but then I
could also just put the dollarsin my bank account.
And that's when I said tomyself you know what?
I've been doing this stuff forso long and I don't teach it.
These are the five.

(16:00):
The second thing I'm gonna sayso there's getting.
There's how much of the dollarsthat I am spending and am I
actually getting back?
This is first.
The second thing I'm gonna sayis that it's not just about
spending money and then gettingit back.
The other part of this, right.
So the other cool part of thisis that I need there's a note

(16:23):
coming.
Uh-huh, just tell me, I'm gonnaclick it.
There's a.
I'm looking in the wrong placehere.
Hi, hello, hello.
He's like stop looking at thewall, what are you doing?

(16:43):
Okay, I'm so sorry.
Hello, so now I'm going to lookat the ground.
It's going to be great.
No, this is going to be awesome.
So the very first is I need tohave my money.
Go further.
The second thing is that I needto have, I need to stop

(17:04):
spending all things on a card.
So I'm going to, I'm going tostop there, but I really want
this to sink in for the rightperson.
The more you swipe your card, the more desensitized you are to
how you're spending, and I'mnot going to go too much into
that.
But swiping your card nonstop, endlessly, is a dangerous way of

(17:28):
just being, and so, as temptingas it is for me to swipe my
card all the time, I don't swipemy time, my card all the time,
and I just want you to askyourself a question as I get
ready for the rest of the weekhow often do you actually use
cash to do things?
How often do you use cash to dothings?

(17:49):
The amount of interest thatyou're paying, the amount of
markup that you're paying andthe amount of inability that you
have to change the price of theitem in front of you is
ridiculous.
I'll tell you that I can't.
I can't even give you a numberas to how many times I've
changed the price of the item infront of me because of the fact

(18:12):
that I'm offering the merchantcash Every time that there's a
purchase paid.
I don't care if it's like apair of headphones.
I did this on a camera a coupleof years ago.
The guy said to me.
I asked him how much are youpaying?
Let me just give you an ideafor what kind of game in dollars
are just out there the guy?
I asked the guy how much areyou paying for your credit card

(18:33):
processing freeze?
And I think he told me it waslike two, two and a half, nine
percent, something like that.
I said to him great, awesome,if I give you cash, will you
give me a discount of about sixor seven percent?
Now, this camera was aboutthree, four thousand dollars.
This camera was.
It was about three, fourthousand dollars and I managed
to get maybe six hundred dollarsoff of the total price simply

(18:53):
by me using cash versus the card.
Now I'm just throwing some ideasout in these categories.
I want to get you started andthinking before I get into the
mechanics.
For the rest of this week, using cash at a gas station will
allow you to save 10 cents pergallon on the average.
Like just just an example.

(19:14):
Using cash will allow you somuch flexibility, especially
when it comes to small business.
You can use this for food.
You can use this forrestaurants maybe not all
restaurants and maybe not justhood restaurants, but you could
use this for restaurants forsure.
The other places in gas, as Isaid.
But there are other items, likethere are swap meats flea

(19:35):
markets.
I love going to farmers marketsfor fruits and vegetables
because, especially when I goright out around eleven o'clock,
twelve o'clock, when they'reclosing up, I bring cash and I
simply clean out whatever theydid not sell and I'm getting
fruits and vegetables grown, most of the time organically,
for pennies on the dollar.

(19:55):
Like there's just money beingleft on the table and I don't
know about you, but for me Iwork so hard to keep the dollars
to do the things, to spend itin the areas and the places that
I care about Money cannot be anitem that you pick up sometimes
and you let go of others.

(20:15):
It has to be something that islike a close friend or a sister
or a brother, something that youhold on to, because, let me
tell you, what money does is itallows you to hold a respect for
yourself, and I don't know thatthis is so much, at first,
about how to make it, as much ashow to treat it.

(20:37):
I feel like sometimes we wantbigger and better things to
happen, but we don't respectmoney and we don't treat money
well, and so, because we don'ttreat money well and we become
disrespectful with money, Ialmost feel like somewhere in
the world of this universe thatmoney then disrespects us.
Does that even make any sense?

(20:58):
Like I feel like I am thinkingthrough the opportunity that you
have right now, not only to getin the driver's seat, but to be
true to your own personalobjectives and goals.

(21:21):
And even though every day Iwon't be breaking down money
strategies in this way, I willbe walking through ways that we
can make money.
I will be walking through waysthat we can invest money.
I will be walking through whatwould and how do I spend a

(21:42):
dollar on.
What I know for sure is that Iwish that someone had told me a
decade earlier all the thingsthat could be done with money.
It would have saved me so muchheartache.
But, more importantly for me, Iprobably have given away like
two, three million dollars justby not knowing.

(22:03):
Imagine if you were tenthousand dollars richer right
now.
Two hundred thousand dollarsricher, like how much money have
you just given away inprocessing fees?
How much money have you justgiven away in the lack of
knowing or the lack of access orthe lack of the resource?
Like?

(22:23):
This is just a moment ofconsciousness.
Like if you had to give anumber, what do you think that
number would be Like?
If you had to give a number, asI sit and think about it for a
moment, you had to give a number.
What would that number be Forme?
The reason why I decided to dothis specifically, especially
for women not that all peopleare not welcome, but especially
for women is because I know fora fact that I have wasted and

(22:49):
lost and given away so muchmoney by just not knowing, by
just not knowing.
So the third is in additionalstreams of revenue.
Let me tell you there are corestreams of revenue and I'll get
to some of the core later onthis week.
But I even want to make youaware of this cool thing that we

(23:14):
have access to.
I know this is going to blowyour mind it's called the
Internet.
The Internet has allowed forpeople to do the wildest things
like Fill out applications andpress submit, put in their phone
number, their name, their emailaddress.
The reason why?
Do you know?
Many applications there areright now for grants.

(23:38):
There's so much money out there, and I don't mean grant writing,
I mean the she lady of theworld, the she wonder of the
world, grants that are out therefor people to make money with
and for.
There is money inside of grants.
I've probably been therecipient of at least I don't

(24:03):
know maybe $30,000 in the lastfew years and just grant money,
just grant money, just puredollars that I don't have to pay
back simply by filling out anapplication about something that
we're doing, something that'shappening, something that we
need.
There's grants.
If you're a woman, there'sgrants.
If you're a black woman,there's grants.

(24:24):
If you're an Asian woman, there's grants.
If you're a young woman,there's grants.
If you're just starting aproduct-based business, there's
grants.
If you are a service-basedbusiness.
There's grants for just aboutevery industry, and I'm not
talking about the fancy onesthat you do with the government.
I'm talking about by companieslike L'Oreal, by companies like

(24:46):
Macy's, goldman Sachs.
There's a grant right now, Ibelieve, out for Starbucks.
I can't tell you how manygrants there are out right now.
The other ways that people aremaking money I think I should
have called this the ways, likethe 10 ways.

(25:07):
I have about two more at mysleeve.
There's this next way in whichpeople have made money and it's
through sweepstakes.
I know this is going to soundcrazy.
Stay with me.
This is insane, outside of ourcore dollars, in which you sell
a product or service and youmake money that way, which I'm
going to get into.

(25:27):
I want to talk about some otherthings, because I feel like
sometimes we just don't know howto get our hands on a few
dollars, a few extra dollars.
I'm giving you all of the waysthat I've made $10,000 or more
in my lifetime that areunconventional, that are outside
of a business or product orservice.

(25:48):
To start first, because for me,these are the fun things that I
used to do with my kids.
One of the other ways in whichI used to make money was through
sweepstakes.
I know this sounds crazy, but Iused to make money through
sweepstakes.
I used to get all types ofthings, all types of items, and

(26:09):
I would fill out sweepstakes.
Now I wouldn't hunt through theinternet.
In each and every one of these Ihave a sheet.
I have a sheet of everywherethat you should get cash back
Everywhere, and I'm going tocreate a book or a guide and I'm
going to place it inside ofDTDTU For those who use DTDTU.
I'll make sure it's thereEverywhere that I get cash back

(26:32):
and I love it.
The second is everywhere that Iam maximizing the dollars, and
I love it.
The third is everywhere that Ihave got grants just grants
places and where to look forgrants right now that you can
fill out.
The next, the last, is insweepstakes.

(26:54):
I know this sounds crazy, butthere are easy places that you
could spend an hour's worth oftime a week.
You know what I've won throughsweepstakes.
I've probably up 40 or 50,maybe $60,000.
You know what I won through asweepstakes?
I don't even think I've evertold anybody a car.
Did you ever know that I won awhole car?

(27:17):
Yes, an amazing sports car.
There are so many ways thatpeople can just enrich their
lives and add more dollars andadd more flow and add more
things into their life, simplyvia spending a little bit of
time.
Now I'm giving you five randomways because I want you to think
outside the box.
If you run a business right nowand you're like Tiffany, I'm

(27:39):
going to put these things inplace, I need to put some things
in place.
Great.
The rest of this week is goingto serve you.
For those of you inside of ourcommunity, absolutely.
We'll spend all the timehammering and nailing the
individual strategies, but someof the ways during my lifetime
that I've enriched my life, thatI've created more wealth or

(27:59):
more excitement in my life, hasbeen by me adding these other
ways.
I won't even call them revenuestreams because they're just
plain old fun for me.
I won't call them revenuestreams.
They used to be just plain oldfun.
They don't take a lot of time.
Last week I was telling thewomen and the mountains at the

(28:20):
More Women's Retreat how I usedto coup on.
I used to be a coup owner, so Iknow this is going wild, but I
would make thousands andthousands of dollars a month by
paying low dollars for an item, taking it into a store or taking
it somewhere else and flippingit.

(28:41):
I literally want you to knowright now how much in control
you are.
Like real talk.
Sarah, michelle, leah, chris,jacqueline.
I want you to know in ourcommunity how in control you are
and if you've tried any ofthese or you have questions of
any of these, please can you askme right now.

(29:04):
Just put at tiffanilargecom.
There is no open invitationtoday for you to join us inside
of Anywhere.
What there will be is an openinvitation for you to get on the
phone and talk to us.
That's what will happen.
I know for a fact that, if itwasn't me, burnout is real.

(29:24):
Mental weight is real as you'retrying to build something,
especially when you're buildingsomething that nobody can see,
when you're building somethingand your whole family thinks
you're nuts.
The way that I broke up thatpicture was by me making a
different decision to add somefun, involve my family and to

(29:47):
other ways of making dollars.
It allowed for me to make theart of pursuing more not as
weighty.
It allowed me to say, okay, great, I'm going to have $20,000
that comes in over here, sotherefore I can take off extra
time during December.

(30:08):
I can take off extra timeduring November.
I can do something more.
The name of the game is just todo something more.
I've given a handful of ideasaround dollars and other ways
that I've made money.

(30:29):
If I had to segment my week andtime, it would be to make eight
to five, or, for me, eight toseven during the week, the time
that I'm working on my corebusiness.
For me, the weekends should be.
For you, does it always go likethat?
No, there are many weekendswhere I am working on a project

(30:51):
or something I want to finish,or have to do with DTDT or
something else on hand, or I'mat an experience, at an event.
Something like that feelsamazing.
I want to stay right there.
But I want to encourage you toconsider taking the time to just
build something.
It might not be building anadditional dollar, it might just

(31:11):
be building fun.
It might just be building fun.
It might be getting sayinggreat, I only make $50,000 for
the year, which is A-OK, andthen saying to yourself I'm
going to find a way to save onseven of the $50,000 I'm
spending, so that way I have$7,000 more at the end of this

(31:34):
year.
You cannot take any of thismoney with you, so hoarding it
and putting in a bank is stupid.
But what you can take with you, what you absolutely can take
with you, is more experiences, more fun and more memories.
I truly want in my heart forevery single human to have more
and to stop feeling guilty forwanting more.

(31:54):
Stop feeling guilty for wantingmore.
Stop feeling looked at,ridiculed, made fun of for
wanting more.
No, like I can't.
I can't even fool around withthat.
If we can't want or desire more, then what can we do?
Like?
Honestly, if we can't want ordesire more, then what is that?

(32:16):
That doesn't even make anysense.
So I wanted to.
I feel really good about whatI've walked through today.
The name of the game is numberone how much of every dollar do
you get to put back in yourpocket?
Simple question If your answeris zero, you're doing life wrong
, especially if you're in the US.

(32:37):
You're doing life wrong.
You're doing money wrong.
I have a really good friend ofmine and she says something all
the time that she was taught bya billionaire and when she
shared this with me, it was likegame changer.
She said that the number oneway in which billionaires,

(32:59):
especially some of the olderschool ones who made money in
more conventional ways I meanconventional before the internet
and all of that.
But for the internet boom isthat they just focus on
recycling their money, like sothat way, if they spend a dollar
, somehow that dollar comes backto them.
Like they spend a dollar, butthat dollar comes back to them

(33:23):
Like I'm great, I'm happy to goand spend money on a thing, but
I want to spend money on a thingand I want the thing to come
back to me.
I don't want to just spendmoney for the sake of spending
money, and it has nothing to dowith a rainy day.
I'm not even interested in youseeing all those rainy days.
I'm really interested in youjust being able to do more with

(33:44):
wherever you are, with what youhave.
I want to see you have a $3,000vacation versus $1,600 vacation
.
I want to see you buy shoesthat you love.
I want to see you hire someone.
I want to see you.
Let me tell you, I made $52,000a year and my greatest gift from
$52,000.
I think I'm exaggerating thatnumber I probably made like

(34:06):
$47,000 a year when I was inMiami and Jada was like five
miles four, and my greatest winfor myself was affording for
someone to clean my house for$300 every month.
It was my greatest gift formyself.
Why?
Because I got sick and tired oftrying to do it on my own with
my own capabilities.

(34:26):
I sucked and I did ithalf-baked because I was always
rushing, because I had so muchon me.
I don't know what that is foryou, but as I think about this
shirt, this shirt has a verysimple statement on it and a
couple of months ago in LasVegas, we were doing an event
and all of the attendees gottogether and they bought this

(34:49):
shirt for me and I thought itwas the coolest thing ever.
I thought it was the coolestthing ever because they knew
that I wasn't feeling well andthey saw this shirt somewhere on
the strip when they went outtogether and oh no, they were in
Old Vegas or old Fremont.
I was close and they boughtthis shirt and I thought to

(35:12):
myself man, this is really trulythe epitome of being able to do
more.
And if it wasn't for all ofthese random tactics and ideas
and backdoor thoughts thatyou've heard me talk about, I
don't know that I would havebeen able to keep do the DTDT
alive.
That's the truth.
I don't know if I would havebeen able to keep DTDT alive,

(35:33):
not just through the seasons, but because we used to run this
thing like not you used to butdo.
Dtdt is like part-time, anon-for-profit, and I spent a
lot of years building foundation, building people, finding team
members before I got into reallyrunning the profit and loss
statement as it should be ran.
I spent a lot of time justgiving to people, giving them

(35:56):
things, experiences, paying fortheir flight, doing all types of
things, and it's like man.
I didn't do that because wealways had an abundance.
I did it because I got reallysavvy with how we spent the
dollar and where the dollar wentand how we acquired it and what
it looked like.
So my simple statement is moresmarter moves with money.

(36:24):
That's it.
Smarter moves with money.
Smarter moves with money, whether that is you filling,
taking time one day a month andfilling out for grants one day a
month and filling out forcontests that are happening
sweepstakes one day a month andbuilding or re-looking at ways

(36:45):
that you can connect to youraccounts Because all I do is
connect accounts, I don't doanything special and get cash
back, or get cash back, or makeor get money back, I should say,
or if it's none of the aboveand you're like I, just need to
be more savvy with what'shappening, all I know is that
you start today.
You have an opportunity.
It is like the scariest thingto look at yourself and go I

(37:08):
want more.
I actually don't know how toget in any direction.
I learned the hard way that itis not going and making more
money.
It is absolutely by starting todo better with the money that
you have, whatever it is,whatever it is Day one, so day
one.
In this slight conversation, Iwant to know what you think.

(37:32):
I want to know are you thinkingto yourself?
Well, I never thought ofsweepstakes, I never thought of
grants.
I never thought of dot, dot, dot.
I've probably made $100,000 inthe last 18 months.
That I say made, I haveacquired, I have deposited
whatever number, and these three, five areas that I've given you

(37:54):
in the last 18, maybe 20 months, I can attribute probably close
to $100,000.
If I had to guess and I say 18months, it wouldn't have
mattered if it was in the last10 years.
I mean in all honesty, itdoesn't matter when or how, it's
just the fact that I can go yes, that worked, yes, this works,
and yes, you can do it.

(38:15):
You can do all of them Rightnow.
They take no money, it won'tcost you any money.
It's all about you thinkingdifferently and being smarter
with money, Because only then, when you have a foundation
that's strong enough to supportmore which means you get clearer
about dollars and not spending, but just what's happening it's

(38:37):
only then can you really go tothe next phase and make more
money.
That's it.
So with that, I say we are done.
I can't wait to hear what youthink which one of these you're
trying.

(38:58):
I want to know, as I get readyto teach what are your questions
about money?
What are your questions aboutmoney?
What questions do you have?
What questions do you have?
What thoughts do you have ingeneral?
What would you like for me toteach?
This week, I'm going to besending this note out to our
community and also do a Q&Aaround money every single

(39:18):
morning at 10 am mountainstandard time.
We'll be live right here.
I'll be answering very specificquestions.
If it's an amazing question,I'm going to tell who the
question is from, so that wayyou get recognition.
We can find you For those ofyou who are watching and
participating at the end ofevery day, after you get access

(39:39):
to that link and the next steps,we'll be tracking to see who,
what, where, when and how.
I am grateful that you are here.
Happy Monday.
I hope that you have a greatday.
I hope that you have a greatday.

(39:59):
I hope that you have a greatday.
I hope that you have a greatday.
I hope that you have a greatday.

(40:29):
I hope that you have a greatday.
I hope that you have a greatday.
I hope that you have a greatday.

(40:56):
I hope that you have a greatday.
I hope that you have a greatday.
