This episode is a Paris 2024 Olympics Special, featuring one of the key leaders from the USA Men’s Water Polo team, Alex Bowen. Alex is entering his third Olympics in Paris, played collegiate water polo at Stanford University, and has played professionally in seven different countries around Europe over the past 10 years. In this conversation, we discuss his early introduction to water polo, his career at Stanford, the U.S. National Teams, professionally across Europe, and his Olympic experiences in Rio 2016 and Tokyo 2020. We also talk about how pro water polo organizations work, how Team USA stacks up against the competition in the upcoming Paris Olympics, and giving back to the sport. Water polo was an important part of my life from childhood through college, so I wanted to take this opportunity to get you excited about the Olympics and encourage you to support the USA Water Polo teams in Paris 2024.
