This week, we’re seeing (and hearing) double! Cort’s brother, Byron Winsett, is our special guest. As an Assistant District Attorney in Shelby County, Byron is the chief prosecutor of the Public Corruption and Economic Crimes Unit of the District Attorney’s office, which basically means he prosecutes a lot of financial, or “white-collar,” crimes, which just so happens to be exactly what we will be talking about. In the show, we’ll break down white-collar crimes, where the term came from, what the motivation for committing these crimes is, and everything in between. This is a fun episode where we have a candid chat with Byron about credit card fraud, insider trading, bribery, forgery, tax evasion, and so much more.
