Meet Wanz Dover, a DJ, Producer & Musician born and raised in Dallas, TX.
2023 Bio:
As a musician, promoter, DJ, Rock Singer, and music journalist Wanz Dover has been a constant presence in the Dallas music scene for three decades. Moving to Denton in the early 90s and paying in Post-Punk and Shoegaze bands. Started DJ in 2000 and by 2010 was honing his DJ craft full time playing Funk and soul for a living.
He created his Blixaboy alias in 2006 to explore the crossroads of dub, electro, Detroit Techno, krautrock and funk releaseing 8 albums and various eps on notable labels such as Concrete Plastic (UK), CPU (UK), Science Cult (US), Fanzine Records (Spain), and Dover's own Stereo on Strike Imprint. heavily influenced by Science-Fiction and the History of sequential arts.
Dover's last album Mobius Trip: Live at the Texas Theater explores his decades long enfatuation with Kosmiche and Berlin School music.
