(00:04):
Welcome aboard Bus 1. We're on our way to Ottumwa, IA
and we've got some time to kill.Let's play some trivia gamers.
Go ahead and introduce yourselves, and I mean gamers in
this episode. Well, hello gamers, it's your
(00:24):
boy Calvin. It's yo boy Cooper.
And I'm John, and you're John. This is John.
It's John. G Boy.
It's a you boy, G boy. Hey guys, guys, I'm so glad we
(00:44):
got some gamers in the house today because we got a pretty
gamer topic. You guys want to know what we're
doing today? Taming cities in Iowa until
somebody barfs. Again that.
Would have been a good episode. We all just go in a circle.
2000. City.
Actually, the topic today is arcade games.
(01:05):
We're going to be talking about some classic and some less
classic arcade games. So you got to get in the game
zone. You guys in the game Roller
coaster, I don't think we talkedabout.
I've heard about that. I never heard about the Rabbids
VR roller. Coaster Giant Crossy Room
tablet. I've seen.
(01:26):
I think I learned about that the.
Same breath that I learned that like the Rabbids people are the
same people as the people who made the minions.
Really. Apparently that that's a.
I figured that, or maybe they were just.
Converging evolution, I think maybe that's.
Why it was brought up is the fact that.
They were is illumination. But are they both?
Limiting. Is Raymond not limiting?
(01:48):
Is Raymond the name of the studio?
No Ray Man. 'S against the game, yeah.
That's my understanding, yeah, yeah.
Well, what are the means that? What are those names?
By. Illumination.
All illumination. Ray Man's are illumination, but
not all. No, that doesn't work.
Anyway, there's some fancy rulesfor this one, so let's get into
it here #1 John, you're not allowed to Google, and the rest
(02:09):
of you also not allowed to Google.
Sorry. There are three levels into this
game, and each level consists offive questions.
Level 1 every question you defeat is worth 100 points.
Level 2 every question you defeat is worth 200 points, and
Level 3, every question you defeat is worth 300 points.
(02:30):
We're doing hundreds, but just like a lot of the old arcade
games, this game won't be a walkin the park.
You each have 6 lives starting now.
Every time you in correctly answer a question you will lose
a life. If you run out of lives at any
point, your score is cut in halfand you'll go back to three
(02:51):
wives. But don't worry, every 500
points you earn earns you an extra life.
So just get things right I guess.
That feels good, so got to be careful.
Hopefully you're answering correctly.
I also have a little oh what's this, what's this over here?
(03:11):
I have some power ups to help you along the way.
We're famously built about addressing power here.
So we got three power ups that you can earn in this game.
The first is the Power Pellet. Power Pellet from Pac-Man gives
you invincibility, but in this context, if you get an answer
wrong or you incorrectly identify the challenge question,
(03:33):
you will not get the penalty. So you either won't lose a life
or you won't lose challenge points if you use your power
pellet. We have the hammer from Donkey
Kong. The hammer allows you to knock
out two incorrect multiple choice answers and every
question in this game is multiple choice.
So basically you can give yourself a 5050.
Then finally, we have the S flagfrom Rally X and the S flag.
(03:56):
You have to do it before you know that you gotten a question,
right, but you earn double points for that question if you
play your's flag. So those are our three power up
options. To earn power ups, you must
answer before multiple choice isread.
So that's how we get power ups during this game.
Every question is multiple choice.
(04:16):
If you answered before you get apower up and then the extra
lives and stuff like that. But I'm going to give each of
you a power up right now to start so that we can use it in
the first round. So I have a little I'm going to
do it randomly. So I have a dice here when you
get 1 S flag to start. Congrats on the S flag.
John or Cooper was next. Cooper, you get one hammer to
(04:38):
start. Hammer.
The same frig. And John, you also get one
hammer to start. OK, the hammer is what I know
how the hammer works. 50 fifties.
Count me of one opportunity for double points.
I'm going to say you you have touse the power up before you can
gain the power up. Now let's do Mario Kart rules.
You can have one in the tank and1:00, but you can only have a
(04:59):
maximum of two. So.
There's no buzzer in this game, so everyone's going to get an
opportunity to answer every single question.
We're going to like, you know, honor system, write it down,
that kind of stuff. So a lot of opportunities to
earn points. And then there's a glitch.
There's the glitch. There is an error in this game
code resulting in a fake answer.Every player has one opportunity
(05:23):
to hack into a question if there's SUS on the bus.
If the player correctly uncoversa glitch, they're awarded with
300 extra points, but if they incorrectly hack, they are lost
in the matrix and lose 300 points.
Multiple players can hack into the same question if they want
and most points wins. Opposite of that classic
(05:45):
Nintendo game for the NES Golf. Mario.
Golf. How we feeling?
How do I speed run? This you don't because you have
to wait for everybody to answer, but we feeling OK you have your
power up in hand you got your six lives ready to go we'll.
See how this go? Tell me if this is going to be
like a variety of game questionsor if it's going to be 15 trivia
(06:06):
questions about just Wreck It Ralph like when Alec did that to
me. There is no Wreck it Ralph.
There is no Wreck It Ralph in this episode, okay?
I did not do Wreck it Ralph. There are some characters I
think who may have appeared in record Ralph.
I'm not quite sure, but we're going to start with round one.
Round one is all about early arcade.
So like the beginning of the arcade craze.
(06:28):
Nice hammer. Fix it Felix Question one.
Before video games, there was pinball.
These cabinets offered flashing lights, exciting sound effects,
intuitive mechanics, and fun themes, all of which would go on
to inspire the creation of future video games.
My question for you is what is the best selling pinball cabinet
(06:49):
of all time? Oh.
Shoot I have 4 possible themes but if you want a shot in the
dark kit feel free for a power up chance.
There are so many franchises nowand.
Multiple choice is 8 Ball, Addams Family, Playboy or
Scooby-doo. OK, locked in the guy.
Know what I would say? Let's.
Start with Calvin. I'm locking in Playboy.
Wow. Little OK such regard for the
(07:12):
Calvin's feeling sexy with. Sexy cells.
Oh yeah, baby. Ball.
Cooper, what do you got? Like, so like Scoob, I'm going.
Scooby Dooby Doo, I like your emo.
That was great. And then, John, what do we got?
I also wrote down Scooby, but I tried to make it look like the
word Playboy and it didn't work.Playboy ooby go Playboy.
(07:35):
I wrote down Scooby-doo. OK, unfortunately everybody, you
all lose. We all like the correct answer.
Was Addams Family. Addams Family, famously one of
the top selling pinball machinesof all time, released in 1992.
Single. Handedly.
Vitalized the pinball industry so.
I was wondering what? We vitalized.
(07:56):
It wow, it was it was the. It was uncle.
Fester. Uncle Festers pinball
extravaganza that's overcome. Anything about that?
No honesty. I think one of them is Gomez.
You gotta know about this. Gomez.
Nathan Gomez in the musical. Wednesday I.
Know. There's Wednesday.
(08:18):
Was. There's more Tisha.
There's Lurch. There's Thing.
John. You know a lot about Adams
family, but you don't. You didn't seem for a guy who
didn't guess out of this. I was raised.
I was raised right. I was raised with the Addams
Family value, not pinball. But you didn't provide movies
that you need to watch. Man pinball game.
All right, let's move on here so.
(08:40):
Aiden, before we move on. Oh yes.
We're all at 5 of 6 lives now we're.
All at 5 lives now cuz you've incorrectly answered the
question. 6. Questions 6 questions minimum, I
guess. All right.
Question 2. Another analogue arcade classic
is skee ball. Y'all played skee ball, right?
The original inventors of skee ball were like in the early
(09:02):
1900s just actually and 1000 points for Adams Stavely skee
ball. But my vital to you is
community. You know skee ball.
It's like you know the holes andyou got to ski the ball into the
hole. How many points were the corner
holes worth on the original skeeball?
So get shot in the dark if if anyone wants a a power up.
(09:26):
I don't. Want to die?
No. No.
OK, so your multiple choice are 50 points, 100 points, 500
points or 1000 points. I'm just going off of lived
experience. I don't.
I don't have. Enough, I'm ready to crank some
90s on this question. All right.
Well, we'll start with Cooper this time.
(09:46):
We'll, we'll just keep shifting the the goal posts.
We're going. To create some 90s on this
question, crank. Some 90s cranking. 90s, I'm
going to say 500. OK.
John I'm also going to say 500 Cooper and I are writer died
this episode. You wouldn't I I did.
That's really funny. That's going to say 500.
And we all. That's the bad name.
Lose another life. The correct answer is no way.
(10:09):
100 points. So the rings are 1020304050 a
hundred in the corners. So that's kind of how that goes
work 20. 30 keep all inflation in our local community I.
Think I remember now there are like 1000 in the corners.
It's that's not common, so most machines is still the original
(10:29):
skee ball case. Really.
I think the out of family America.
It's like ICE, you know that company ICE that makes a lot of
the like, ticketed arcade games?Yeah.
Ice ice baby. They might do it slightly
differently, but any like True Skee ball machine will still
have that original case. Little do our contestants know
(10:52):
that this was the fake answer. Looks like they were fooled this
time. If it isn't at Dave and
Buster's, I don't know it and I don't care to know it, you know?
Damn. Shout out Dave and or Buster I
don't think. We've ever been to a Dave and
Buster's and all. I think you're doing OK.
Thanks, John. Hey, I really appreciate it.
(11:13):
Actually a life changing experience.
You could do an arcade before. Dave, David and Buster's.
Do you think it's named? After Busty, the bus driver had
ownership stake in Dave and Buster's.
Is he in the room with us right now?
Well. We don't know what is what Busty
was short or along for. Wasn't it Buster fur I?
Don't know. I wasn't there.
(11:33):
I didn't go through the time or text with you, Buster.
All right, Question 3, the jump to the video from Like Normal
Analog Arcade. Games to be.
Attributed to? Yeah, exactly.
Killed. It can be attributed to a game
called Computer Space. Like things that go first, Yeah.
This early arcade cabinet engaged players in a classic
(11:56):
space battle against a pair of UFOs.
But what company developed computer space?
I will say these are like famousarcade game companies I'm about
to list. So.
I could want to name a couple. Okay, well I'm not the answer
right now. Atari, Namco, Nintendo or Sega?
(12:17):
Okay, I know what I'd say. All right, well, John's going
first this time. Okay, go for it.
I'm writing down Namco and I'm prepared to be wrong.
Calvin, I'm gonna say Seiko. Sega OK Cooper.
I was gonna say Namco. Life down the drain.
So we're learning something about the life mechanic right
(12:38):
out the gate. Yeah, Oh my God, I expected you
guys to do. Accidentally stumble into one,
correct? Answer.
Does it Atari? Feel like the correct Atari is
the correct answer and I feel like I want to say.
Atari. And then I doubted myself.
They're the guys. So actually at that point it was
Syzzygy Engineering, but they that company incorporated as
Atari. So it's, it's Atari, it's the
(12:58):
guys, SYZYG. Y OK, so that was you reading
that off the page, which doesn'tfeel.
Consonance. He was reading it before, yeah.
You think? I wanted to think that it's like
maybe she's got Pilgrim where it's just like, you know,
Pac-Man was always called Pac-Man used to be called Puck
(13:20):
Man because it comes from the I thought that was just like a
thing that Aiden had, like off the cuff.
He said that the random people at parties.
And now? It's used to be called and now
it's owned by Sizza and she diversifies her her portfolio
slices music. Thank you Computer.
Space. Doesn't she probably has some
kind of like, I think she has like a.
I'm sure she has like Miranda orsomething like that.
(13:44):
Yeah, where's that? Actually.
Done in there. The Minecraft movie Nether
Flamesauce with Sizza. It's 'cause it's.
Yeah, exactly. There you go, question 4.
Atari followed their initial splash into the arcade world
with a full on cannonball. Pong is widely regarded as one
of the most influential video games of all time, and was a
(14:05):
huge critical success when it released in 1972.
Since this is such a classic, surely you've all played it,
right? Right.
Well, let's quiz. Yeah, in Pong, what player
serves first? I'll, I'll go for the power up.
OK, Cooper. Left.
OK. Can I just say?
(14:25):
Player 1, is that also understood?
To be sure? OK.
Is that left? That feels like you would be
left. OK, so you guys shall come and
you want to wait for multiple choice you're.
Going to pick multiple. Choice OK, two options, left or
right? Or it's left randomly decided
whoever moves their controller first or it is randomly
determined. Oh no.
(14:45):
It's gotta be left. Kelvin, let's all lose together,
baby. You know what happens?
You know what? Half of 0.
Is, you know, half of 0 total party kills.
Like we all lose our lives, all right.
Wait, do we? Do we?
Fail out of the of the game. We lose half your weight 0 back
to half. Of you can't divide by zero,
man, that's undefined. We're going to glitch the game.
(15:06):
You can. Divide 0 by 2 though.
And it's still 0 but. That's true.
Come on, Calvin. It's not good though.
OK, Calvin, what do you want? I think there is a right answer
here and it's. Left and it is not.
The correct answer is it's randomly determined so the ball
(15:26):
is served by the computer from the center of the screen.
Angle and direction are always random to keep both players on
their toes. How?
How random is it? You know there's a, there's.
A random is the random. Yeah, if you if you expand your
mind and see all possibilities that I guess.
I mean like the computer can never be truly random.
(15:47):
Yes, but it's not always left either.
Whoa, whoa, whoa, it's left. Like 78% of the time, yeah.
I didn't know you're so anti left.
Yeah, yeah. Let's get into that.
What's my second? So do we die when we go down to
0 or when we die with 0? When you go down to 0.
(16:09):
When you lose your last life. OK, we're too away from.
That that's scary. You right.
I don't think can't wait to get 500 points and get one life
back. Yeah, right.
It's going to be crazy. This is a vital resource.
All right, question five. Another one of the early video
games, Space Invaders pioneered a lot of famous features with a
high score table, endless gameplay, and steadily
(16:32):
increasing difficulty. But what causes Space Invaders
the game to speed up as the gameprogresses?
I'll say it A the speed of the enemy is calculated using the
player's score, so the higher the score, the faster the
enemies move. B fewer enemies causes the game
(16:52):
to use less memory, unintentionally speeding up the
program. CA glitch in the game code
resets the game clock whenever an enemy dies.
Or DA purposeful feature adding a line of code to increase the
speed of all enemies every time one dies.
All right, I think we're starting with Calvin on this
one. My gut says D OK, which means
I'm wrong. My guts are telling me B.
(17:15):
John. I got BI was thinking that B is
the goofiest answer because I don't think that's how it works.
Is that the little guys in the game code get eaten up and then
you don't have to process that anymore.
That's right. So I'm I'm going to go with
Calvin and say D The answer is B.
So John and Kelly lose a life, Cooper gets 100 points.
(17:38):
Great points. It's just a whole mess.
That's actually. Just the regular mess.
Yeah, that's just, that's the goofiest option that's actually
we have. It was a fully unintentional
feature. It was not designed that way,
but it is one of the first instances of difficulty creep in
video games. So the difficulty gets harder
and harder as you continue. That's actually.
So pretty you're saying I shouldjust not kill the guys?
Well then. They don't kill the guys.
(18:01):
Why can't you all cook the guys famously known as Squid Octopus?
Crabs in space? Flying saucer.
Well, because that's their namesthough.
Squid, Octopus, Crab. Flying.
You're going to name them and then I have to kill them?
You mess with me, you mess with my gang, Squid.
Flying saucer. Octopus Don squid Don squid
(18:25):
thimble. Monopoly money.
All right, Little with little dog.
We're done with crab and we and we have I think just 100 points
on the board. Can I get a A score and life
check with everybody? Could it be it's me?
I have 100 points and two lives.Calvin and I both have one life.
(18:47):
And I don't know, I don't know how this is.
I was not expecting this to go this.
Right now you made. The mechanic to get out here you
go survive. But before I write it out and
while I'm having a mini breakdown, we're going to go to
an audience question. Bye, hey.
Gamers, thanks for playing this week's episode.
The audience question from last week, because how many times has
(19:11):
Cameron been on bus? 1 trivia episodes.
Congratulations to Mr. NYLT for being the closest to the answer
of 63. One point to you, Mr. NYLT.
(19:36):
And now for the audience question from This Week in the
hit Movie about the arcade game Wreck It Ralph, which of the
following is not featured? A Tapper.
B Dig. Dug, CQ.
(19:58):
Bird. Or D Centipede.
Again, which of the following arcade games was not featured in
Wreck it Ralph? The Movie.
A Tapper B Dig. Dug, CQ.
Bird. Or D Centipede.
(20:22):
We look forward to seeing your answers in the comments section
on Instagram or on Spotify and share the episode with your
friends so they all can get a taste of the action Bye, have
fun. And we're back.
(20:43):
Welcome back from the virtual world, everybody.
We're back in the game. And before we begin Round 2,
it's time to give another power up.
None of you guys use your power ups in Round 1 so.
I'm this is. The second one you can hold on
to Calvin. You get one hammer.
Hammer for Cal. Welcome to Hammer Club.
Welcome to Hammer Club. Big.
John Erdo Cooper gets an S flag.S flag.
(21:08):
And John gets one power pellet. So John, John now has a power
pellet and a hammer. Cooper has an S flag and a
hammer, and Calvin has an S flagand a hammer.
You cannot gain any more power up.
So you gotta use them. All right.
Round 2 is the golden age of arcades.
We're going to talk about some of the some of those famous
arcade games that came about during that golden age, early
(21:30):
1980s. Addams Family Pinball.
That's Family Pinball Question 6.
Arguably the most famous arcade game is Pac-Man.
But pacu, pacu. He's actually upstaged by his
wife. In terms of popularity, the
sequel Miss Pac-Man is very, very similar to the original,
with some slight gameplay tweaksand cosmetic changes in Miss
(21:54):
Pac-Man sex cells on the blow. And lipstick on that PAC.
Man in Miss Pac-Man what color ghost has a different name?
So only one of the ghosts names change in Miss Pac-Man, but
between Pac-Man which which color?
Is it Blinky? Blinky, Stinky and Clyde.
(22:15):
Craig, OH Clyde. Clyde, Clyde, I think we're
still with Cooper on this one. You just got to tell me the
color that changes. No, there no way.
There's Clyde. It's got to be like.
Claudia is the original. No, Clyde's the original.
I promise you Clyde's there. No, no.
But in Miss Pac-Man, it's Claudia instead.
Whether or not, oh, everyone's in drag.
(22:37):
OK, So what colors Clyde Cooper?Shoot, I have to give color.
So you said like a certain one wears different clothes?
No, it just has a different. Just the name changed.
It looks exactly the same. The Clyde one.
What color is the Clyde one? Yeah, say the say The Color
Purple. Okay, John.
(22:57):
And I like to use my power pellet to not suffer
consequences. Wait until you answer it and
then if you. Get it wrong to do it
afterwards, okay. Actually good you get.
To. I'm asking.
Questions. Yeah, okay, cool.
Cooper, what color did you say? Purple.
Purple. I'm going to say.
I can read options too if peoplewant.
(23:20):
I know what color. They look at the number of.
Colors. Yeah, I just don't know which
there a. Purple 1 John, is there a purple
1? I don't think so.
They. Turn to say orange orange.
OK, Calvin, do you want to wait for multiple choice?
I would love to hear multiple choice.
OK, it's red, orange, pink and cyan.
Shoot. Red, orange, Pink, cyan.
Can we? Just do like.
(23:40):
Can I also do? Purple.
Red What's the? Other one.
Pink, cyan and then Clyde. Can I use my hammer here, David?
Yeah, you want to knockout 2? Yeah, OK, I will knockout pink
and red. It is not pinky or blinky.
He's trying to give me hope. Oh, Pinky.
OK. If we had known Pinky, that
would have given us a Fleming possibility.
(24:03):
Ink that's either orange or Psyche inky.
Clyde. Learn to play the game.
I'm still in the mix here man. Yeah, yeah, you.
Just knocked out two. Choices for.
John. No, I already guessed.
I'm going to say. Orange, orange.
That's OK, John. You're going to jump onto my
boat. All right, the correct answer is
orange. So John would have gotten the
(24:26):
power up. However, he didn't have a slot
to do, unfortunately. So.
So full. Instead, I might offer an extra
life. Just the way this is going on
the fly. You're going to pity me.
No, you got points anyway, so whatever.
So 200 points for John and 200 points for Calvin.
(24:46):
I did actually have a bonus point, which is.
What name was it and what did itchange to?
Is it Clyde to Clyde? Is Clyde.
It is Clyde to Sue, but Sue became purple instead of orange
in a later game where they had both of them.
So I'm going to give those 100 bonus points to Cooper for being
(25:07):
kind of. On the nose, my wife.
Nerd you lose a life and get 100bonus points.
OK guys, we're all died. We're all, we're all.
Yeah, but the the original ghosts were Inky Pinky, Blinky
and Clyde, and then it was Inky Pinky, Blinky and Sue.
In the future expansion of the Pac-Man universe.
They were like, we can't have Clyde and Sue both be orange, so
(25:31):
they have to retcon it. This is horrible for.
Clyde's Orange. Clyde's Orange.
There's not enough colors. There's not enough colors.
I'm always saying that Question 7 people love a good space
battle, which is probably why Galaga is as famous as it is.
Developed by Namco in 1981, thisclassic shooter is actually a
(25:55):
sequel to a 1979 game. What is the name of the prequel
to Galaga? Galaga 0 Doorway to Hell no.
That kicks ass. Actually, that's pretty good.
OK, Do you want me to read? Them the Dark Ages or whatever,
you know. Yeah.
Gorgons. I'll read them A gravitar, B
(26:19):
Galaxian, Z galpless or D gorf. Gorf's a different.
Game Gorf's A. Gravitar, Galaxian, gapless and
GORF. You had fun naming these, huh?
These are all real games. I'm ready me and there are wait,
what was that? Gore, can you say that again?
Gravatar. Trying to impress?
(26:41):
I think John's going first this time.
I like gravatar. I'm going for Gravatar.
Alvin. My soul says Gorf.
I'm telling you they're not. Gorf.
I'm listening to the inner the inner blog in my heart and it's
saying Gorf. Galaxia.
Cooper, that is correct. The answer is B Galaxian.
(27:02):
Galaxian turned in to Galaga, then Gal Plus is the sequel to
Galica. Gravitar is a different game and
Gorf is a real game and I actually have never seen it
before, so I'm going to look up Gorf real quick.
But fun fact about Gorf, my dad had a GORF arcade.
Game Dad gorf. My dad had a gorf.
(27:22):
Game in his. Oh, it's like Space Invaders
mixed with Galaga. He said that he like got a high
score on it, but every once in awhile they would have to like
unplug it and they would like lose their high score every time
they had to unplug it. Wait, this is actually really
similar to Galaxian? What?
So this is I just kind of pickedGorf because it was funny, but
(27:43):
give me points. Gorf no one for.
Points it's. Not the same developer, I'm
sorry. Yeah, all of these are points
wins. Space battling Goref.
No, it's the same as Gorf. Most points wins in Gorf.
I don't know. I don't know how Gorf works.
I'm not. I'm not pretending like I know
how gorf works. Maybe you start with a large
point total and the more. Aliens go down till they move
(28:05):
faster because there's. Yeah, I think I just, I'm done.
Well. John, you have an item that can
help you there. Oh, I'd like to use my thing
that makes me not power. Pillows.
Power pillows. Yeah, John, you're staying at
one life here, Calvin. Unfortunately, you died.
So how many points are you at? 200. 200 so you're not down to
(28:25):
100 points and you have 3 lives again.
Got it. All right, sorry, that was a big
pus question. 8 Nintendo's firstbig hit was the arcade game
Donkey Kong. Donkey Kong pioneered the
platformer genre, introduced Mario, and had the original
(28:45):
damsel in distress, Pauline. Despite this, Pauline wasn't
seen in very many Nintendo gamesafter her debut.
What was her next video game appearance after the original
Donkey Kong? I kind of remember it.
What was the name of that game, though?
All right. We'll say it.
We'll say it, Cooper. It was on DS.
(29:07):
Say Goorf right now. Not a Nintendo.
Say Goorf, it's. Not a Nintendo game.
Goorf. Oh, Goorf, you.
OK. Goorf, the answers are back in
2000. Donkey Kong Junior, the arcade
game, Nintendo Pinball on the NES, Mario versus Donkey Kong 2
on the DS, or Mario Odyssey on the Switch.
(29:28):
We're gonna start with Calvin. Oh boy, I'm gonna say.
DD Mario Odyssey. Yeah.
On the switch. OK, Cooper.
I'm gonna say it's the DS1 and I'm going to use my's flag.
And Mario versus Donkey Kong 2. Okay, John.
I like to use my hammer, Aiden. Okay, I will knock out Donkey
Kong Junior and Mario versus Donkey Kong 2.
(29:50):
No, I can't believe you've done this.
I'll diversify from Calvin's portfolio.
I'm gonna say the pinball one. John, that is correct.
Nintendo Pinball in the NES, there is a bonus stage that's
Donkey Kong themed where you rescue Pauline again.
But in terms of like mainline Mario appearances, Mario versus
Donkey Kong 2 was her next actual game appearance.
(30:13):
Which like actually showed up this little bit of game.
Do you want to hack here a little?
And yeah. Oh, OK.
And also, Mario Odyssey was her first, like, mainline Super
Mario appearance ever. But yeah, Cooper, do a little
hack. Are you hacking into this
question? I'm gonna do a little.
I'm gonna do a little check here.
Run some code. I'm cranking 90s on this hack.
(30:36):
All right. What does that mean?
Is. That ball has a secondary
breakout like mode where the player reaches by hitting the
ball into a bonus hole that takes players to a bonus stage
to control Mario carrying a platform.
The object of this mode is to rescue Pauline, who has debuted
with Mario in Donkey Kong. So unfortunately.
Then he has hit her in a bonus hole.
Man is in the. Bonus hole in this.
(30:56):
Hole. She didn't show back up until
Mario versus Donkey Kong. She's done.
Years and years and years later.Died.
What happens when I lose my hat?So you -300 points. 1st which
would take you down to. At 400.
Before so you're 100 and then you die and so you're at 3 lives
and 50 points yeah, right. And you're down an S flag.
(31:18):
That's. Crazy and I'm down an S flag.
That's tough. Somehow I got to 50.
Yeah, that's that's pretty good.But yeah, that's Pauline's very.
Gorgeous 50, good luck getting 50 again.
I'm sure we've done something where 50 showed up at least
once. Probably.
We should do bust one score Agami if you get the first ever.
(31:39):
Like the most insane. Score.
It's not even like we have a base unit, it could literally go
down to like decimals if we really wanted to get weird, but.
If you got I ended with 60 or like 67 points.
Yeah, it's like crazy like on this is 1 / a multiple.
Of 22 seconds. Yeah, oh man.
Question 9 Frogger taught me thevaluable life lessons is to look
(32:02):
both ways before crossing the street and also that jaywalking
is OK sometimes. On a completely unrelated note,
it is a It is famous for having some of the most ways to die in
an arcade game. Here's what's going to happen.
I'm going to give you a list of ways to die in Frogger.
You have to tell me which of these are real, how it's going
to work in our new format. I'm just I give you the list.
(32:26):
If you answer based on that, you'll get the power up.
If you want what multiple choice, I'll tell you how many
are ways to die and how many arelike how many of each there are.
So you can kind of get a little bit of a hint and then the
closest will get points. So somebody will get points on
this one. All right, OK, so write these
down. So the first way to die is being
run over by a truck. The second way to die be real.
(32:50):
Jumping into an already occupiedfrog home feel like in Frogger
you're trying to get the five frogs to the five different frog
homes. If you jump in one that already
has a frog in it, you die. A sea jumping on the back of an
alligator, the next one running off the back of the stage.
The next one is sinking on a diving turtle and the last one
(33:11):
is kissing a lady frog that'll. Kill.
You that'll. Kill you absence kids, that's
the only way to be safe. Does anyone want to take a shot
in the dark? I think I know what I'm gonna
say. Coopers locked in.
I want more information. Okay, Calvin.
Yeah, I'm ready to answer. Okay, so Cooper and Calvin stay
locked in. John, I will give you more
(33:32):
information. There are three of each.
So I did a 5050 split. That's what I have.
So are you good? Hands off the keyboard.
Hands off 2 hands on the face. Two hands on the face.
I've been to your laser tag. Next to kiss lady.
That's honestly the part of the arcade I've been to the most in
all honesty. Shout out laser tag place that
(33:53):
I've shouted out a couple times on this podcast.
John, you good? I think I'm good.
OK, I think we start with Calvinthis time, right?
I lost track. Let's just do Calvin.
Sure. My initial guess, I was gonna
say getting run over by truck, that'll do it.
Sink jumping on the back of the Gator, sinking on the back of a
turtle. And that's what I had.
(34:13):
And then the rest are no. So the rest would have been no.
So, Calvin, you got 2 wrong, so you got 4 correct, Cooper.
I have killed by truck. I'll just say the ones that you
died. Pancaked by dump truck, Yeah.
I actually I believe you only die if you jump on the head of
the alligator, so I think running off the back of the
stage kills you and sinking on aturtle kills you.
(34:36):
OK, the roster don't Cooper. You also got 4 John.
OK. You can you can send them home
here. John, you gotta get 4.
Universally. Universally it's I I agree.
We all agree getting run over bya truck gotta be kills you.
Yeah. And then I have jumping on an
already occupied frog home. OK.
And then I, I, I left turtle, I left alligator in safely because
(34:59):
like that's pretty far back on the alligator.
And then I said sink on turtle would also kill you.
John, that is 100% correct. Congratulations so convert
Calvin or edged out they both lose a life.
That's exactly correct. Running running over by a truck
gets you right. Their cars down truck I.
Knew the alligator was safe though, I knew the back out.
The alligator is safe. If you jump on the alligators
(35:20):
open mouth you die, but if you jump on their back you're OK.
You cannot run off the back of the stage you if you kiss a frog
lady and you get to a house, youactually get bonus points
sinking out a diving turtle kills you, and the frogs have
stand your ground laws, so if you try and go into their house
they'll get you. They shoot you.
They'll get you, shoot you to death.
Well. That gets me to 600 so I get
(35:41):
another life. Right.
Yeah, John, if you surpass 500 points, you get an extra life.
Congratulations, One upside you. Can't believe I went down to 50
after having 400. That's really rough.
So what happens if I hit wait? Actually, I think I'm at 1.
Ball paintball strikes again. I think.
All strikes again. Well, we're gonna finish up this
(36:02):
round with question 10. One of the first racing games
was Rally X Rally X, while it didn't let you race other
players, it was an early pioneerfor a lot of video game
features. Which of the following features?
So no power up choice on this one was not originated by Rally
X? Was it the bonus round, the
(36:22):
extra life, the mini map, or a continuous soundtrack?
So which is the first? Which is not one of so Rally X3.
Of those originally appeared in Rally X, one of them did not.
Aiden, I'm going to answer before we get answer choices.
That's all right by you. And that was the answer choice
or the answer. Choices.
Oh. Well, what'd you think about
(36:43):
Slid? What'd you think I was saying?
Are you gonna answer? Don't even worry about it.
I'm. Actually gonna answer the next
question without even hearing the question.
Don't know what I thought was happening there.
Aiden, I've done it. I've cracked.
You're good. Cracked the code.
We got to go back to the future. The reason we're not doing power
(37:06):
ups is because, I mean, it's almost the end of the round.
I'll give you another power up. And so I.
Guess what, I'm I guess what I'mtrying to tell you is that I've
selected an answer. Great.
Well Cooper's going first. Does anyone want to use a power
up? Because you will be getting one
after this question. So do you want to free up a
slot? Do I have to?
I will also give you the opportunity instead of a power
up to take an extra life if you want.
So. Do I have?
To I would, yeah, to take an extra life, actually.
(37:28):
OK, we'll, we'll wait until after this question, but.
I want to use my hand. Just letting you know.
Use it to let them get the. Well, if you use your hammer
then I won't make you go first, so we'll we'll make it fair.
I saved. My hammer until I was going
last. Yeah, hammer her.
I was going to be strategic, John.
I didn't answer. Oh yeah, Calvin, you want to go
for it? I was going to say the Extra
(37:49):
life. OK, John, I agree.
I'm going to say Extra Life. OK Cooper, I'm knocking out mini
map and continuous soundtrack. Do you think it's bonus round or
extra life? Is this Monty Hall?
Stick with your gut, Monty Hall. What?
Maybe. What?
What were you selecting before I?
Don't remember what's the one? That's not what they said.
Bonus round, first game down, bonus round.
Bonus round. Well, Mario Pinball had a bonus
(38:13):
round where you had to save Pauline.
Yeah, a bonus hole. Some might.
That's not an arcade game, so. It's a pinball machine.
Is that not our? Case No.
It's it's an NES game that's called pinball.
Wait, really? Yeah, it.
Wasn't. Even real.
(38:33):
It wasn't even real. It was it's fake.
It's like it's pinball. We went from video game to video
game pinball. It's crazy.
So what do you want to say? I didn't it's.
Addams Family Digital Pinball. It revitalized the digital
pinball. There's a.
Bonus hole where you have to go save cousin it from thing.
You know, I'm going hands in this life thing, extra life.
(38:58):
Guys, you, you nailed it. Extra life is correct.
It's. A racing game?
What do you need that for? So the S flag comes from this
and it double S your score in Smash Bros they have the S flag
and that does actually give you an extra life, which is kind of
what I was wanting to make you think about.
But yeah, it had a mini map letting you know where the flags
(39:18):
and the enemy drivers were. Is the first game with a
continuous soundtrack, So not just a theme but music playing
all the time. And it was the first game to
have a bonus round if you you completed your normal stuff in
enough time for Circus. Round.
Bonus round and that's it for Round 2.
So we're gonna do a little scoreand life check here.
This whole everyone got 200 points from that.
(39:39):
I got it so. What we do have 1000. 2:50 that
that would be correct for. Nice so one how do I 1 correct
answer gets you an extra life Cooper keep in mind.
I got 2 lives. 2 lives. I'm at 300 points and one Life,
OK. John.
I'm at 800 points and two lives.Sounds good OK this is where I
(40:01):
can self correcting we're great I'm going to give you guys a
power up going into round 3, butI will also give you the
opportunity to take an extra life.
I forgot to say that last time, so.
Yeah, I'm not. I'm not going to need anymore
actually. Calvin's taking an extra life.
Cooper, I'm full. Thank you.
Get a power pellet. Invincibility.
Oh, you're full. No, no, no, no, no, no, no, no.
(40:22):
We're talking. We're talking about we're.
Negative for a bit. Cooper, you get, you get a Power
pellet and John you get an S flags, so OK.
I don't like that one. Can I give it back?
Nope, I'll take it. I'll take it.
It's too powerful. Trade, No trade.
We're gonna kick it off with round three.
Round 3 doesn't have, like, you know, a set theme.
It's just a lot of the other arcade game stuff that is cool
and interesting and stuff I enjoyed.
(40:42):
So here we go. Round three, Question 11.
Joust is probably my favorite arcade game of all time, mostly
due to its goofy concept. You and a friend play as Knights
riding giant birds over a lake of lava, trying to knock enemies
and each other off their giant birds and into the fire.
It's sick. I love it so much, it's
(41:04):
phenomenal. Play Joust if you haven't played
joust. What type of bird do the enemies
ride in? Joust the enemies bird.
I'm gonna. Actually make you say it, even
though I think I know you're. Gonna make me say it.
I'm gonna play it safe and then I then I can like S flag it.
Yeah, yeah. Is it an ostrich, A stork, a
(41:24):
Buzzard, or a pterodactyl? Who's going first?
Man, I shouldn't have to think about it.
John's going first, I think. I'll, I'll let's.
Flag that sucker, John. OK.
And John, I'll make I can make you wait if you don't want to
reveal your confidence with youritem.
I'm I'm not confidence. I'm just throwing spaghetti at
the moment, baby. And then I'm going to say
(41:44):
Buzzard. OK, Calvin, what do you have?
Jeez. Oh Gee.
I like John's answers. Bandwagon how?
Honorable is that if you like. John's answer?
Go for it if that's what you felt in your heart.
Talking about Josh, one must remember chivalry and honor.
Hardly know her. I hardly know her.
I'm on her chuzzer till. She on her joust, I shivel her
(42:10):
on her. Till she joust.
OK gal, give me a give me a bird.
Yeah, I'll say to a dinosaur, don't.
Let us shame you. Don't let us shame you.
Calvin, what'd you feel in your heart of hearts?
Did you feel John's answer? Did you feel pterodactyl?
Pterodactyl was my first OK **NSYNC Cooper.
When you said pterodactyl, I wastaken to another another land.
So I'm gonna say pterodactyl, the land before time, the land
(42:32):
before there was even the. Land, the land of the lost.
The great land that Steven Spielberg created.
All right, well, the answer. Is.
Slam Buzzard John with the double point S flag on that.
So no. Ostrich is what Player one
rides. Player 2 rides a stork, A stork,
the enemy Knights ride the buzzards, and then there's a
(42:55):
pterodactyl that just kind of shows up sometimes and he's like
bonus, you know, I remember. My scared of the of the
pterodactyl and I wasn't, I got nervous.
Yeah, the pterodactyl made me nervous.
He's like, not supposed to be there.
And you're like, whoa. In my favorite arcade game, the
Google dinosaur game Pterodactyls.
Yeah, I'm familiar with their game.
(43:17):
What's what's your high score inthe Google dinosaur game?
Because mine's like 14 thousands.
I don't know, and I feel like that's probably evidence that
it's nothing to be proud of. I played for like 10 minutes
straight one day. I'd also like to shout out the
lava troll, which is the creepy floating hand that grabs you if
you fly too close to the lava. That's I don't like him.
(43:40):
He's not my friend, but I'm shouting him out anyway.
The last time we played joust. Power Pellet stops you from
losing life. Do you want a power pellet?
Why not? OK, Power Pellet.
So I believe Calvin lost like Cooper didn't lose life but
didn't get points and John got 600 points from which is.
Fire boosts boosts me up to three.
Lives, three lives. Congratulations, John.
(44:02):
But yeah, so you can miss three out of the last four questions
and be OK. Also in Ready Player won the
book. Look, I think this might have
been my the start of my fascination with joust Question
12. That's all come for time.
Anyway. Question 12.
Polybius is something of an urban legend that sprang up
(44:24):
during the Arcade age. This mysterious cabinet was said
to induced hallucinations, hypnosis, and was even theorized
to be a government experiment. This was all a myth until
someone filed a Freedom of Information Act request to the
US government to uncover the truth.
What was revealed by a FOIA request on Polybius?
(44:47):
What the? Hell, I've heard, I've heard
about Polybius before. Yeah, yeah, it's.
Anyone want to? Take a shot in the dark.
What do you know that tell us? More.
I know what Aiden told you. It's it's like a spooky machine
that people are it. The myth is theorized.
Stuff comes like, because like people were like, if you're good
(45:08):
at video games, the CIA is gonnatake you and make you do.
Snooker. Go be a fighter pilot like in
like an Armada. So it started this potential
rumor, but someone did fire a FOIA request so I'll hear the
multiple choice. Polybius was a Soviet clone of
asteroids and was under investigation by the CIA so
people saw agents examining the machine.
(45:30):
B. The game cabinet had no
government ties, but it was ordered to be decommissioned by
the US government due to excessive risk of seizures from
its flashing light visuals. C The CIA has a file on
Polybius, but it just contained documentation of the urban
legend. Or D The FOIA request returned
absolutely nothing. I think we're back to Calvin.
(45:52):
Go. With C again legend.
C was the CIA has a file, but itjust contained documentation of
the urban legend. I'm going to say C enyant.
OK, how convenient. What was a again?
A was it was a Soviet clone of Asteroids and was under
investigation by the CIA for malware.
OK, in that case B. OK, John, I'm going to go with
the. Spookiest option Aiden and say
(46:14):
FOIA gave you nada. And John, that is correct, FOIA.
Gave you anything, nada. It didn't return anything.
It's probably completely made-up.
Or are they keeping stuff from most but.
Oh oh, what if it's classified? Yeah, it's it's one of those
urban legend things. You cannot hack again,
unfortunately. But we have two people who can
(46:35):
hack. Did that take anyone down to 0
lives or we we still? I am, I think, down to 0 you.
Got one and then you went up to 2 and you just missed the past
2. Correct.
So half points for Calvin. Sorry, I did cross another 500
threshold. Do you have a power pellet?
I don't. What do you Do you have any
power? Up I just have double points the
(46:56):
S Pell. Oh, the S flag.
OK, S flag. You're right all.
Right, moving on to Question 13,Rampage is a classic game where
you play as humans transformed into giant monsters trying to
destroy the city. Dwayne The Rock, John.
Yeah, for some reason they made it into a movie starring Dwayne
the Rock Johnson Rampage. 2016 starring 2018.
(47:18):
Sorry. Stop saying my.
Question before I read my question released in 2018, this
film took some creative liberties, the most jarring of
which was the job that dwayne's character has what is the rock's
profession in rampage the. Moon the heck?
I have AI have a guess but I'm not going to give it to you you
want. To do it more information, do it
(47:38):
No, no, no, no, no, no. You know, in the GameCube
version. Wait a thing I've.
Got life to. Spare into animals is a soda, so
perhaps he's a soda. John, you want to hit one?
Yeah, I think he's an evolutionary geneticist.
OK. I think Dwayne The Rock Johnson
is playing an evolutionary. Goldblum.
Yeah, he's a mathematician actually.
(48:00):
Chaos Theory. He's the sexiest, you guys.
Want multiple choice wild A National Guardsman, B civil
engineer, C zoologist or D accountant.
So you could have put in evolutionary.
Geneticist, one of the. Answers.
We Evolutionary. One of the answers wasn't big
strong fella. Why?
I've two of those that could be a big strong fella.
(48:21):
Is this a good question? Take a stab.
No, this is 13 out of 15, OK. If I were to stab, I would stab.
There are four people in this room you can stab.
There's the zoologist civil agency.
Of the National but I had a knife fight, stabbed zoologist
twice. That's my answer.
OK, sounds good, Calvin. I was also gonna say zoologist.
(48:44):
Hell yeah. And that guys would be correct.
The answer is zoologist. More specifically, a
primatologist. He studies monkeys because
there's a giant monkey that's his.
Best friend. He has to have a spiritual
connection with the big albino gorilla.
Yeah, because they're best friends and then they use their
power friendship to fight the big lizard and also big
rhinoceros. Question mark, maybe wolf.
(49:04):
It's a wolf. Rock steadies in that.
OK, Yeah, it is a. Wolf.
It is a wolf steady studies. I always I was always very
interested for more of the Rampage game when I played it on
on GameCube. Yeah, 'cause it would.
Like they you would like run outof power or whatever and like
turn back into a normal guy. And so then you would take
another drink of like the fancy soda and like turn into like a
(49:26):
giant shark this time, so. Each.
Time you would choose like a newguy and it's like, yeah.
That's pretty cool. Interesting.
And then the army was always after you.
But then they like threw that lore out the window for the Rock
movie and for some reason he's amonkey.
Monkey Scientist. Because he's chill with the
gorilla. He's I don't know what the
monkey scientist gorilla. Well, I mean the gorilla.
(49:50):
Looking for riding bus one that's all the time we have
today gorilla God damn it anywayso that's points for Cooper and
Calvin a life gone for John and.Life's to spare.
Oh, OK, give us the cross the threshold.
Threshold crossed. Now a question 14.
One arcade game that I've never been able to master is Dance
(50:12):
Dance Revolution, introduced in 19. 98 Dance Dance Revolution
Mario Mix question. It is not, unfortunately.
I thought we had brought that upbefore.
I'd try something new. Introduced in 1998, this rhythm
game involves stomping on a stage and beat with music.
It has grown a pretty impressivecompetitive scene where both
dexterity and endurance are important to victory.
(50:35):
What is the longest that someonehas continuously played Dance
Dance Revolution? This would be a closest wins if
you want to take a shot in the dark.
Who's to say they're still going?
It's indeterminate. I can read.
I can read the. Options if you want to, but if
you want to just throw a number.I'll go off vibes.
I'll go vibes. OK.
My vibes are three months. Continuous.
(50:55):
Oh my God. So they have to be like they
would die. That person is dead.
But then somebody like feeding them somebody.
Drinks. Cooper slides.
He has a tea bag You. Physically have to sleep, bud.
I forgot about sleep. Yeah, you.
Can stop stop being conscious? Cooper, do you want to take one
more stab at it? I'll say 3 weeks.
(51:18):
OK, sounds good, Hooper. John, what do we get?
Sir, it's closer to three months.
Aiden, I was gonna say 56 hours.OK, Calvin, you want the
multiple choice or you want a shot in dark?
No, let's keep the energy going.I'll take a shot in the dark.
I'm gonna say 55 hours. And John, you said 56.
I did. So Calvin, you are.
(51:38):
I guess you're the closest because the correct answer is 16
hours, 18 minutes and 9 seconds continuously day.
Didn't even make it a day and a.Half record is held by Alexander
Scudlara. Graham Bell.
Of Rochester, MN. So Calvin, not only do you get
300 points, which I believe gives you an extra life, you
also get a power up. So let's see what power up you
(52:01):
get. Can you get a power pellet?
You get a power pellet. OK.
Power Pellet. So, question 15 now the last
question. Many of the famous arcade games
that have been ported to or excuse me God I need to start
this over, I'm losing my mind. Take a deep breath.
Take a sip of water if you have it.
I don't. Bathroom break.
This is why I never passed the DDR. 16 hour 16 hour threat.
(52:25):
It's like the. Fermi paradox.
It's the Great Filter. It's the Great Filter.
You want to. Dance in your master.
Yeah, you can't. Be talking like that, white
baby. Easy white Chuck.
Would want you to melt. Hey guys, let's take a break
right now and do some dance moves, shall we?
We're gonna do this. Nope, we're doing it.
(52:45):
Everybody go watch some no? No, we have to.
Move on. Fine, we have gloves.
Just a little play. Yeah, hit it, Calvin.
Yeah, hit it, Calvin. OK, that was our dance sets.
OK Question 15. Many of the famous arcade games
have been ported to console and vice versa, so it's easy to lose
(53:07):
track of which is which. Which of the following famous
video games did not start as an arcade game?
Mario Bros Street Fighter Two, Punch out, three exclamation
points and Duck Hunt. One of those did not start as an
arcade game. It started as a console game and
was ported later to arcade. Think we're going to start with
(53:28):
Cooper on this one? Oh no, it's a multiple of three.
We're gonna start with Calvin onthis one.
Obviously. OK, that's how I've been keeping
track. I've got 2 power ups left, can I
use them both? Yeah, sure thing.
Power Pallet. The Power Pallet really matters
here. Well, you can save the power
pallet for the challenge question if you want.
Oh, I love that challenge. Question.
Yeah, I'm gonna say that's the Power Pallet.
(53:51):
The what's it called that's. Crazy.
The hack, The glitch Hacking theglitch Yeah OK, I will use my
what's it called the the belt that I don't know why I think
it's why is. It S flag.
Belt. You can wear it as a fungible
belt. Double points.
(54:11):
S flag. Yeah, I'm gonna say Mario Bros.
OK, Cooper. I was gonna say Mario Bros.
OK, John, Right. Or die, baby.
We're going Mario Bros. Hands in.
I'm sorry guys. That's that's how we.
Came into this world, that's howwe're going out the.
Original Mario Bros was an arcade game.
It's the one with like the, you know, the turtles coming out of
(54:32):
the pipes and you have to jump on them like that one Smash Bros
stage. So that was originally an arcade
game and this was ported. Super Mario Bros was originally
NES and then was ported to arcade.
So it's the that's the difference there.
The answer was Duck Hunt. So Duck Hunt was originally an
NES game and then was ported to arcade.
Is that Street Fighter Two was arcade and then the NES or the
(54:54):
SNES and then Punch Out was an arcade game and then became Mike
Tysons Punch Out for the NES? So.
Darn. That's our game.
Can we get a score check? I have. 1700.
Oh my gosh. I have 225 points.
I'm at 750. OK, I don't think that there's
(55:15):
possible swing, but we're gonna we're gonna have you guys try to
fill out the hack if you want to.
John and Calvin, do you wanna hack for the glitch?
Do I have? Sure, the.
Glitch. For fun.
It's all games, yeah. I mean, I still have my power
pellet, right? I can't.
Lose. Yeah, you have.
Your power pellet so you won't lose.
You want me to repeat it all thequestions so that they
remembered what they were? No, I think I know what I'm
(55:37):
going to say, if I might. Can I guess again for all the
marbles? You can guess again for no
marbles if it makes you feel better.
Exactly 0 marvelous guess, Cooper.
Which one did you? Which one did you?
Marble, Marble, Pauline and the bonus Hole.
Cooper mumbled on the bonus hole.
Pauline and the bonus. Cooper always marbles on his
bonus. All right, gotta pay the troll.
(55:58):
Even the bonus soul. This is a unknown Harry Potter
book. It's a.
Expanded Universe. Expanded.
Universe. Yeah.
John Henry. I'm, I'm gonna say that the, the
FOIA request did return something and it was just a
little file on the fact that this was an urban legend that
people were blaming the CIA for.Cool.
You're hacking into FOIA, hacking into CIA.
(56:18):
Re FOIA ING, yeah, I think, I think it did return something
and it was just uninteresting. Calvin.
I think John. I think John.
Makes a lot of sense. Are you?
OK. Double up on that.
You're gonna double up, double up and there's no swing.
It's AI know. Swingless pride thing.
Swingless. Sauceless.
The challenge question was drumroll plays.
(56:40):
Hack hacking type rule please. I'm in the skee ball question.
Ski ball is the challenge. The original ski ball did not
have corner holes. That image just.
The main holes, the corner holeswere added later but they are
worth under points. Gotcha.
So that was the challenge there or the sorry, the glitch.
(57:03):
Whoa, we just, we just hacked out the, we discovered the
glitch. In terms of the FOIA request, I
can look at the there's a screenshot of it on the
Wikipedia page for Polybius. Let's look at it real quick.
