As a chef, I'm on my journey, building a million dollar empire
, documenting my process and I'msharing with all of you.
So please share and enjoy.
(00:22):
Burnout doesn't exist.
It drives me crazy nowadaysthat you know.
If I see people nowadays saying,oh, like I work too much, I'm
getting burnt out, like I need abreak, I need a vacation,
you're simply just doingsomething that you fucking hate.
That's why there's a burnout.
Like, just imaginehypothetically, just imagine,
imagine you're doing somethingthat you truly love the whole
(00:42):
day.
Isn't it gonna be fun?
You think you're still gonnaget a burnout.
Just imagine you're doingsomething that you enjoy the
whole day, 14 hours, 15 hours, except the time that you're
sleeping, or even when you'resleeping you're dreaming about
it, right, and when you wake up,you're just doing that.
You, you're just doingsomething that, whatever that
you're enjoying, right, whateverthat makes you fun.
Just hypothetically, imaginethat kind of life.
Would you get a burnout?
(01:02):
I don't think so.
I'm not saying like, you shouldfollow your passion.
You should do what you love andbe broke.
Don't make money like.
I'm not saying that because Idon't personally believe in
doing what I love, because youknow like life doesn't always
work that way.
Right, but what I believe in isknowing how to love what I do.
It's a very different approachif you think about it.
So, no matter what you do,you're spending 14 hours, 15
(01:24):
hours a day.
You have to work if to be in anoffice, you're doing whatever
the fuck you're doing and youfucking hate your life.
It's 100% is your fault.
You chose to live that kind oflife.
People say I don't have achoice.
And what do I do?
I don't know how to do anything.
That's exactly it.
You don't know how to doanything.
That's why, then, what do youhave to do?
Go learn new things.
Go learn new skills.
We'll get a new knowledge.
(01:45):
Learn how to learn new thingsor just simply learn how to love
what you currently do.
Let's think about it this wayburnouts for every people.
Burnouts come for two reasons.
Burn out comes when youoverwork and you see no results
within a certain timeline.
That's when most people getsburnt out, right.
But the second reason you don'thave a certainty of what you're
doing will give you the outcomethat you planned.
(02:08):
So when people don't have thatcertainty, when they don't have
that conviction, they get burntout because you never know when
it's gonna end.
Like you never know until whenyou have to continue this kind
of shit, right.
That's when people get burntout, and that burn out results
in self-doubt, lack ofconfidence, low self esteem and,
worst case depression.
What I want to tell those kindof people is that learn how to
(02:28):
love the commitment of doing thedoing without seeing the
results.
I took this quote from AlexFormoszi.
There's a thing that he saiddelayed gratification, which I
strongly believe in.
Like your life, you cannot justrely on instant gratification,
which means instant results, like paycheck, like one night
stand, like it gives you instantpleasure.
Like you cannot rely your lifeon those kind of shit that will
(02:49):
make you poor or they will giveyou depression.
They will give you all thisburn out and shit.
Most people rely on the instantresults.
They all rely on instantgratification, which very few
people in this world.
They know how to work reallyhard without seeing the results,
because they know they mentally, they know that that action
will give the desired outcomewithin that certain period of
(03:09):
timeline.
So I think that's what mostpeople have to know when you
know when you're afraid ofburnouts, when you're.
You know going through aburnout is either you learn how
to love what you're doing or youshould learn how to do the
doing without seeing the results, because instant results are
fake, like if you go to worktoday you'll get a paycheck next
week, like that's instantresults.
But most people don't createcontent.
(03:29):
Most people don't work reallyhard the first two, three, four
years of getting attention sothat they can create products
and sell to the audience.
They don't do those kind ofeffort right and if you think
about it, everybody can do that.
When they finish work, whenthey come back home, they have
time to create something.
They have time to learn newskills, like they have time to
learn to read one book.
They have time to to get itlike an hour, one hour coaching
(03:51):
of new skills learn how to use anew software, learn how to use
Photoshop, learn how to useFinal Cut Pro, learn how to use
the venture itself.
Everybody has that one hourevery single day.
I think it's a fucking excusewhen people say, oh, I don't
have time, it's just not yourpriority, like you're not
desperate enough and you getburnouts and you're tired again.
You're not tired, you chose tobe tired.
No one's gonna save you.
