As a chef, I'm on my journey, building a million dollar empire
, documenting my process and I'msharing with all of you, so
(00:21):
please share and enjoy.
When people start social mediamarketing, when they're trying
to grow their business orthey're trying to grow their
personal brand, a lot of peopleget stuck on the social media
marketing part because they haveto make all these videos, they
have to make all these reels andthey have to study how all
these social media work, andthere are all different types of
platforms, like Instagram,tiktok, linkedin, youtube.
(00:43):
How does that even work?
Right, it's just so complicatedin the beginning.
Most people do for a couplemonths and they start to give up
.
So in this video, if you're anentrepreneur, if you're trying
to build your personal brand,I'll show you the step by step
social media marketing one onone, and this is how I also got
more than 5000 followers inTikTok within just a month.
This is a basic, basicknowledge that you guys have to
know when you're first startingout your social media marketing.
(01:05):
So the first thing that you haveto keep in mind is that your
only reason that you're insocial media is to sell
something.
There is absolutely no reasonto be on social media if you're
not selling something Likewhat's the point of watching
other people's lives?
What's the point of seeing allthis Lamborghini, rolls Royce
and Instagram, seeing otherpeople getting rich and
complaining about their lives?
(01:26):
What's the point of watchingthem?
All right, make use of it.
Become someone who create thosecontents rather than just
consuming them.
So there is only one thing thatyou have to keep in mind that
if you're on social media, you're there to sell something.
You're absolutely not there tostalk other people.
You're there to sell something.
So there are mainly three thingsthat you can sell service,
products or attention.
It's either you can do one oryou can even do all of them.
(01:49):
Service is a service.
You're a business owner whoprovide a local service.
You can sell service throughsocial media marketing.
Second is product.
You can advertise your productthrough social media and get
people to sign up for youroffers or your websites or
whatever, and get them to buy.
Or you're selling attention, which most people do on social
media, which most people thinkthat that is the only way to
(02:10):
make profit from social media, which is not true.
There are.
You know, you can simply sellservice, you can simply sell
product, or you can even combinethem all together and get
attention as well.
So attention is basically whatyou guys kind of thinking right
now.
It might be something likeentertainment you can like dance
, you can sing, it can be like acomedian, or I'm personally not
an entertainment guy, so Idon't really like fully grasp
(02:31):
the vibe of those entertainmentcontents.
But so the first step is tochoose what to sell.
It's either one of those three, right.
And when you choose what tosell, the next one you should do
is you got to pick a platformbased on your target audience
and market.
It can be Instagram, tiktok, youtube, linkedin, pinterest,
podcast, blog, whatever thatworks for you.
Once you choose a platform, andthen you choose how to engage
(02:53):
is it by organic contents, is itby paid ads, or is it by cold
reach outs, which I'm personallyusing organic contents, which I
personally recommend toeverybody.
There's absolutely time andplace where you should create
organic contents and run paidads and do cold outreach.
But first, when you're startingout, you should start creating
organic contents, because thedifference between organic
contents and paid ads is in paidads, your reach is guaranteed
(03:16):
where your effectiveness isn't,but on the other hand, for the
organic content, your reach isnot guaranteed, but you can see
which gets effective throughthis algorithm.
So once you choose how toengage after that is you maxing
out the volume?
So when you start, probablyyou're going to post one video
per week and then start with twovideos per week, three videos
per week, four videos per week.
It's about increasing thevolume of what you do after all
(03:37):
the method and platforms thatyou choose.
So you're creating a long formcontent like YouTube content
like YouTube video, if let's saylike.
For my case, if I'm creatingsomething like 10 minute or 15
minute video, I roughly getabout between five to 10 short
form contents out of that longform video Usually Instagram
Reels or TikTok and YouTubeShorts.
They recommend a video lessthan 60 seconds, which you can
(04:00):
upload a lot longer from content, though, but I recommend you
guys to create a short formcontent just within 60 seconds,
because it's easier to uploadall these three platforms at the
same time, and I'll teach youguys that how later, when you're
first starting out, I recommendyou do a one YouTube video per
week, which is going to beextremely hard.
It's going to be a lot of workand time consuming.
When you're first starting out,as you guys do it, you're going
to get used to it, you knowdefinitely you're going to find
(04:22):
a easy way to work.
You're going to find what worksbest for you and you're going
to find the most efficientworkflow that will give you that
one video per week.
And once you have that longform content, make 60 second
Reels.
Just you know.
Edit those highlights and makeit like you know.
Give a hook, make itinteresting, summarize that
specific topic within 60 seconds.
Make a short form contents.
(04:42):
If I created a video about 10minutes or 15 minutes video, I
roughly get about between fiveto 10 short form contents.
When I create four videos permonth, that comes about 22,.
You know about 30 to 40 Reels amonth, which makes me possible
to post every single day.
So if you guys been watching myTikTok or Instagram or YouTube
Shorts, I've been posting everysingle day.
(05:03):
That's how it is actuallypossible.
There's a thing that I want tosay about posting something that
every day is that it hasnothing to do with algorithm or
reaching more people.
Maybe they do.
That's not the main reason whyI post every single day.
The reason why you must postevery single day is to check
your consistency, is to keep thepromise that you made with
yourself.
That is the whole point ofposting every single day.
(05:24):
That's why I mentioned in thebeginning is going to be
extremely hard.
It's going to be a lot of workwhen you begin, but the reason
why you should still do it is toaffirm your commitment towards
your social media marketing andcreating organic contents.
That's the whole point ofposting every single day.
It's not about all thisalgorithm making all these viral
videos Like you will find theway.
You know, down the road youwill find problems and you will
(05:47):
be curious about why this videois not working, why people are
not watching.
You know those are going to bethe things that you will be
distressed about.
So don't worry about this Allalgorithm and strategies and
stuff like that.
But again, it might help.
It might really help.
If you post every single day,it will push that algorithm to.
You know, identify your accountas a stable account and, you
(06:07):
know, consistent account, so itmight help your reach.
But you know again, don't worryabout that when you're starting
out.
Focus on the process, focus onaffirming your commitment
towards the promise that youmade with yourself.
That's the most important partof the social media marketing in
my opinion, and this is how Icreate my contents on for my
YouTube videos and for my TikTokand Instagram.
(06:28):
So if I just pick one day in amonth and shoot four videos,
that gives me four YouTubevideos.
That is good for one month andI'll get all this short form
contents from that.
Four videos.
That is enough for me to postfor 30 days.
Right, like, I've been havingall these technical difficulties
and failed to upload for acertain week, and that happens.
You know, shit happens.
But again, if you're actuallycommitted to your process, then
(06:50):
you will end up posting anyways.
You'll end up creating acontent and you will end up
being actually consistent withyour work.
I think this is also one of thebiggest reasons why I could get
all this 5,000, 6,000 followerswithin a month.
In my TikTok.
I personally edit my videoswith Final Cut Pro and DaVinci
Resolve.
As I color grade, we wentDaVinci Resolve and I cut and
edit everything, all these basicedits and cuts.
(07:12):
With Final Cut Pro, I integratethese two softwares and make a
content which saves me a lot oftime and increase my content
quality extremely high comparedto other people, and it's
possible for me to do it alone.
And after I export all thesevideos, I always use this
platform called Metricool, whichis a social media management
platform which enables you topost and schedule all your
(07:33):
contents on all these differentplatforms YouTube, shores,
tiktok, instagram, linkedin, pinterest, google all these
platforms.
That's how I schedule all mycontents for the following month
.
Give it a try.
This will make your life a loteasier.
Real quick, guys, if you'reenjoying this podcast.
I don't run any ads on this.
I don't sell anything, so theonly ads that I have is that
(07:53):
help me spread the words so thatwe can help more chefs monetize
their skills online, make moremoney and have their own
successful restaurants.
The only way we do that is torate, review and share this
podcast.
If you find this podcastvaluable, leave a review.
It takes five seconds and, mostimportantly, it may change the
world for the better.
