You know how sometimes you meet someone and just immediately click? That’s how it was when I met our inaugural episode’s guests, Molly Swanston and Meagan McDougall. Both were in similar boats to me; working in a male-dominated field but having the cutting edge of nepotism courtesy of the being part of the family who owns the business. Because they are wonderful and I’m quite comfortable with them, we had a really natural, fun conversation on everything from transparency about our queerness to wondering if comparisons of powerful women are actually productive.
Molly and Meagan are wonderful humans who I will likely have back on the show, either as guests to deep dive into some more specific business cases, or as guest hosts. Only time will tell! For now, enjoy this episode. You only get one first, I’m glad it was with them!
