Yes, it's hard to believe that it's been 5 years since this anime controversy happened, but IMHO, lesson was learned here (hopefully).

Apparently that's what happened last night. Just before her match with Indie Hartwell, it seems Mercedes had JD removed from commentary during intermission, which seemed to go longer than usual, and it seems this was the reason why.
And it seems, a majority of folks have backed this claim up.
