Camille (00:00):
If you've ever felt
like you're constantly chasing
content, posting here, filmingthat, writing this caption,
sending the email, you're notalone.
The truth is, you don't needmore content.
You need to do more with whatyou've already created.
So you want to make an impact.
(00:22):
You're thinking about startinga business, sharing your voice.
How do women do it that handlemotherhood, family and still
chase after those dreams?
We'll listen each week as wedive into the stories of women
who know this is Call Me CEO.
Hey, everyone, it's Camillehere with another episode of
(00:44):
Call Me CEO, the podcast to helpmoms build businesses without
burning out, and today I'mbreaking down one of the most
powerful strategies that hassaved me time, boosted my
visibility and helped me show upconsistently online without
feeling like I live on my phone, which, let's be honest,
sometimes we feel like we chooseto live on our phone.
(01:05):
Sometimes it feels like it'sthrust upon us.
So today we're talking aboutrepurposing, and if you're not
doing it yet, or if you feellike you're doing it randomly,
I'm here to walk you through aclear, simple framework that'll
totally change everything.
So let's dive in.
And if you're new here, pleaseknow that your being here means
(01:27):
a lot to me.
I've been recording thispodcast now for four and a half
years and it is so amazing tolearn all the different ways
that women are buildingbusinesses, especially mothers,
who are able to create and liveaccording to the way they want
to dictate their day and make itall come together.
So my hat's off to you.
(01:47):
Thank you so much for beinghere.
Please subscribe and, if youfeel the urge, any review or
sharing of this episode means alot to me.
So let's get started.
Let's talk about first whyrepurposing matters.
What is the why?
One of the number one freebiesthat I have on my website is
(02:07):
discover your why, becauseoftentimes, when things get hard
, we want to go back to that whyof what is it that keeps you
showing up and keeps youconsistent?
So if you have not takenadvantage of that yet, please
check the show notes now and getyour five day roadmap to
discovering your why.
If you've ever felt like you'reconstantly chasing content
(02:30):
posting here, filming that, writing this caption, sending
the email you're not alone.
The truth is, you don't needmore content.
You need to do more with whatyou've already created.
This is a big key in somethingthat I help coach women through
all of the time is how do werepurpose, how do we delegate,
how do we create more whitespace and how do you take a
(02:51):
concept or a piece of contentand repurpose it in a way that
makes it maximize your effortsfor your time?
This is where having a virtualassistant comes in.
That's huge.
I've covered that a lot, so I'mnot going to talk about that
right now, but if that issomething you need help with, I
help with people with that aswell.
(03:12):
When you repurpose, you take onecore idea and you turn it into
multiple pieces of content andeach one is customized for a
different platform or format, and you're working smarter, not
harder.
The best part is thatrepurposing helps you to reach
new people without having toreinvent the wheel every single
day.
So where I'm creating thisvideo content, this can go onto
(03:33):
my podcast, it can go ontoYouTube, it can go onto short,
real videos or onto TikTok, if Iwanted it to, and also to turn
this into an email, a newsletter.
So how do we get started withcreating the core content, this
method?
Let's talk about how we can dothis.
So step one is starting withyour piece of core content.
(03:54):
This could be a podcast episode, like I mentioned a blog post,
a YouTube video or a livetraining.
Let's say that you record 10minute podcasts on how to start
a virtual assistant business.
That becomes your core contentfor the week, and then step two
is to extract key ideas fromthat core content that you can
(04:17):
then pull out to put into otherplaces.
That could be three to fivemajor takeaways.
It's a favorite quote, aquestion for your audience, a
personal story or something thatyou could share as an example.
It could also be captions thatyou turn into a carousel or
something and turning that intorepurpose content.
(04:39):
So an Instagram carousel, aTikTok or reel talking about the
tip or the thing that you'resharing, a quote graphic for
Pinterest or Instagram stories.
You could send an email to yourlist with a personal angle or
story behind that.
You could take one blog post orLinkedIn article and expand on
(05:00):
the topic, or even make a shortvideo teaser to drive people
back to the full episode.
So see how you just took onepiece of core content and it
creates a full week ofvisibility with minimal extra
effort.
If this feels overwhelming toyou in the beginning, you could
pick two things that you startwith.
(05:22):
Maybe it's an Instagramcarousel piece, as well as an
email to your newsletter.
Hey, my friends, just popping inhere really quick to say if you
are drowning in a to-do listbut never actually getting
anything done, I hear you.
This is the time to take backcontrol of your day, and I've
(05:43):
created a product for you, forfree, that will help you to do
this.
It's called the Ultimate TimeAudit and Productivity System.
It is a free resource to helpyou pinpoint exactly where your
time is going and what youshould be delegating.
My coaching involves a lot oftime spent with business owners
who are losing time valuabletime on menial tasks that they
(06:05):
could either delegate or createa system around, but first
needing to understand how theirtime is being used.
So imagine having more time foryour family, your business and
yourself, without the constantoverwhelm.
You can grab your free copy inthe link below or at
camillewalkerco, and startworking smarter, not harder.
Camillewalkerco is the website, but go ahead and grab that link
(06:28):
below and I would love to helpyou take back your time right
now.
Now, why my favorite repurposingshortcut?
I'm going to give you one of myfavorite tips here.
It's called the dominoblueprint, so how it works is
you pick one topic or idea thataligns with your offer or
message, and you record a 10 to15 minute video about it Super
(06:52):
casual, even selfie style.
Then you slice that video intofive short form clips.
That could be two quotes, onegraphic and one email.
All of a sudden, you've got 10pieces of content from one video
.
And if you're curious about howto turn your ideas into content
machine, I've linked myfavorite repurposing tool in the
(07:13):
show notes.
This can be used for YouTubevideos, this could be used for
blog posts, and the neat thingis that, if you even wanted to,
you could take the content andplug it into AI and it could
take a transcript of what youshared in your video or your
blog post or your podcast and itwill segment it for you if you
(07:37):
feel like you need help inchopping it up.
So what stops people fromrepurposing it's a really good
idea to do this and what stopsus?
I can tell you what stopspeople most of the time is
number one overthinking.
They might think, oh, isn'tthis repetitive?
(07:57):
Like I've already said this, sowhy would I say it again?
Or why would I share it in somany places in so many different
ways?
Well, here's the truth, peoplerarely see 10% of what you share
, and to imagine that someone isseeing what you're sharing
everywhere, across your podcast, your blog, your socials it's
(08:19):
just not happening.
Repetition is actuallyessential for brand trust and
clarity, so you do want them tohear you say the same things
over and over again, becausechances are they're missing it
most of the time when you'resharing it.
Another thing is perfectionismis what will hold people back
that you imagine it needs to beedited, captioned, branded, and
(08:43):
I've always said done is fun.
If you can get it out there andyou're making the content and
you're sharing it.
If you can get it out there andyou're making the content and
you're sharing it, it is good.
Done is better than perfect.
Start messy, clean it up later.
Or even sometimes I think forme where, as a kid or as a
student, I always thought, oh, Ineed to get that A, I need to
(09:03):
get the A, but B minus work isoftentimes better than not
posting at all.
The last thing, number three, isa lack of systems and not
knowing what to post where.
So that's where a repurposingcalendar or framework can come
in to plan once, rinse andrepeat, keep it simple and keep
(09:27):
it the same, so that you're nottrying to figure out how to redo
this, how to come up with a wayto keep it consistent.
If that is something thatyou've struggled with, I would
love to help you with that.
You can DM me on Instagram, atcamillewalkerco or at
callmeCEOPodcast.
So, for wrapping this up, Iwant you to consider your action
(09:50):
steps about how you are goingto implement this this week.
So first, I want you to pickone piece of core content that
you've already created whetherit's a podcast, a blog post or a
video or anything break it downinto three to five smaller
pieces using the format I shared, and then schedule it across
(10:11):
different platforms this week.
You will be amazed at how muchyou get done, how amazing it'll
feel, and with way less effort.
And remember, you don't need tobe everywhere all at once all of
the time.
You just need to show upstrategically, and repurposing
is how you can do that.
If you are struggling with timeand you don't have the ability
(10:35):
to share everything everywherethat you want to.
This is where having a virtualassistant comes in really handy,
and that is something I canhelp you with.
If today's episode gave yousome light bulb moments, would
you please do me a favor, screenshot it, share it on
Instagram and tag me atcamillewalkerco or call me CEO
podcast so I can cheer you onand make sure to tag me so I
(11:01):
could even reshare it.
And if you want my fullrepurposing playbook, you can go
to show notes and link.
I have resources there fordiscovering your why.
And also I have a Canvarepurposing it's like a Canva
repurposing breakdown of how Ican share that with you too.
(11:21):

at a time, and make sure tosubscribe.
I would love to have you haveall of these tools and resources
at your disposal.
