Speaker 1 (00:00):
We are going to feature a few of our former
guests.

Speaker 4 (00:04):
I'm excited and they're going to talk about
where they are now.

Speaker 1 (00:06):
So I'm just excited and I had an opportunity to
watch the videos and, wow, itwas a blessing to see the growth
of individuals, because Ialways say this, I say we go.
Hello y'all.

Speaker 7 (00:33):
We are pumped.

Speaker 1 (00:35):
We are excited.
This is a moment to be excitedto get those juices flowing.
God has definitely blessed us tomake it five years, y'all.
I mean, I put both hands up,but I'm talking about five years
.
This is a wonderful milestone.
And again, Adney, I always tellpeople this that we're not
doing this to become rich.

(00:56):
We just have a desire forpeople to draw closer to God,
and this is why we do it, forBecause look, Adney, listen if
we just stop and drop everythingand we no longer podcast
anymore, I know you and I willhave a strong conviction that
it's something we got to bedoing for the Lord, right?

Speaker 6 (01:13):
Fire shut up in my bones, like Jeremiah said.

Speaker 1 (01:17):
You know, you know, jeremiah wanted to quit,
jeremiah wanted to quit.
So I just thank God, add Annie, for this wonderful milestone
and making it five years, because I did a live a few days
ago and I was just so excitedand I was like, oh you know,
september 5th is our anniversary.
And I look back in the archivesI said, man, our first episode

(01:38):
was September 7th.
That's the first time.
Yeah, we actually went live andthe first episode was actually
episode zero.
That's pretty much the trailer, how we're talking about what it
means to be called by God whenyou have a calling on your life,
why some of us were a littlebit hesitant to obey the gospel.
Because I tell people like this, one of the hardest things to

(02:00):
do is to obey the gospel.
Imagine your master tell youyou got to let go everything you
knew since you were born.
Just let it go.
And to follow him.
And if we tie it into scripture, that's what they did in the
Bible the disciples Jesus Christwhen he was starting his
ministry.
Here's Jesus Christ walking onthe scene.
He's calling his disciples hey,you follow me.

(02:22):
Hey, you follow me.
These individuals hadoccupations and they just
dropped everything just tofollow Christ.
But the requirement that Christhas called us to do is to
follow him, so when.
God has called us.
So we're lost and we're in aplace of darkness, or we're in
bondage spiritual bondage andthen God is using vessels, his
earthen vessels, his ministers,to minister the gospel to

(02:44):
individuals.
He's trying to call them outfrom bondage to follow him.
And that's what we did, adney.
We followed him.
But I tell people it's the mostrewarding decision that I've
made.
But it also was challenging inthe beginning, because you got
to think about it like this Allmy life, all I knew was sin,
because we're born into sin.

(03:05):
So I knew to drink hard andparty hard.
I knew to trust hard.
I knew to do things that was anopposition to God's word, will
and may.
But guess what, addie, I neverfound happiness, I never felt
fulfilled.
Then, when Jesus Christ said, follow me yeah, it took me about
three weeks.
Then, when Jesus Christ said, follow me yeah, it took me about
three weeks After.

(03:25):
You know, once that three weekmark hit, I decided to follow
Jesus Christ and that was thebest and I mean the best
decision I ever made in my wholeentire life.
So the same feeling, adni, thatI felt many, many years ago when
I obeyed the gospel, that's thesame feeling that I want people
to have.
I want people to understandthat there's a place of hope

(03:47):
that they can have in JesusChrist.
I want people to understandthat there's a life of peace
that they can experience inJesus Christ.
I want people to understandthat there's a life of love.
We're not talking about thelustful love that people so call
the worldly love that peopleidentify as love.
I'm talking about that agapelove.
I'm talking about thatunconditional love, the love

(04:07):
that loves despite what lovethat you could find, that love,
despite despite all the failuresand all the things you do, that
love still exists and that loveis still going to love you.
So I'm just thanking God andI'm just glorifying God.
I'm just excited.
Amen, I'm excited.
So what are your thoughts onthis celebration moment that

(04:28):
we're experiencing at this time?

Speaker 6 (04:31):
As I sit here and I think about five years, and I
said before, there are peoplewho launch businesses.
Six months there, they'vealready gone belly up.
Months there, they've alreadygone belly up.
But to go through, like when westarted this podcast, it was

(04:54):
during COVID my brother was inthe hospital.
We ended up losing my brotherand it was one of those moments
where it was like the Lord wassaying are you going to still
follow me or are you going tolet go of me?
Right, and it's like no, I'mstill following you.
I may not be perfect in how I'mfollowing you, but I'm not
letting go of your hands.
So that's what these five yearshave really exemplified for me

(05:15):
is holding on, holding on tothat, like putting an extra knot
in that rope, and holding onbecause without him I would not
be here.
These five years have signifiedheartbreak, grief, potential,

(05:35):
love.
Like in all of it, it allencompasses a growth period for
me.
It all encompasses a growthperiod for me.
Doing this podcast has been morefulfilling for me than anything
I can ever say why?
Because I'm not doing it for me.
I'm doing it because number one, I've fallen in love with the

(06:03):
idea that I wasn't given when Ibecame a Christian was making
disciples.
I've fallen in love with theidea of what it looks like when
Christ says follow me.
It's not me just following him.
I am literally supposed topattern my life after his
teachings.
So learning that and thenteaching that to other people

(06:24):
has been like a source of peacefor me.
If I wasn't doing the podcast,I don't think I would have
honestly had that mindset.
And I'm going to be honestbecause to meet new people, to
have conversations with peoplewho talk about discipleship, to
even do the biblical characters, and you're like, oh my gosh,

(06:45):
this person did this and oh mygoodness, this is how it mirrors
my life.
And then is this the word ofGod speaking to you, Right?
So when I look at that, I thinkabout the five years.
Has it been perfect?
Absolutely not.
Have I stumbled and fallen?
Absolutely.
But what I've learned throughall of it is that my Savior

(07:11):
loves me.
He asked me to follow him.
He knew I was going to stumbleand fall and I keep my hands in
his.
And as I celebrate these fiveyears on the podcast, plus the
years that I've already been amember of the body, it's really
an honor.
It's really an honor to havesomeone tell me to follow them

(07:33):
and not follow them, becausejust to follow them it's follow
them, because I am the way, thetruth and the life.
I am the fulfillment of yourlife.
I am the one that gives youpeace.
I am the one that, honestly, there is no man on this earth
that can love me the way mysavior loves me, and that's the
thing I learned about this wholegoing through these five years.

Speaker 1 (07:57):
Yeah.

Speaker 6 (07:58):
Yeah.

Speaker 1 (07:58):
Yeah, it's, it's definitely, uh, uh, it is
definitely a blessing.
Um first, um, before I evencause I know I went into this
spiel with so much excitement.
First of all, I want to give ashout out to all of our
supporters.
You know there are a few peoplethat do support us financially
and you know I definitely wantto take the time off to thank

(08:20):
them, because it's because ofthem.
We always say keep the lightson, right?
I just want to thank them forkeeping the lights on.
And also, I think the mostrewarding thing not most, but
one of the top rewarding thingsis, like you said, adni, we're
reaching a global audience.
So I also want to give a shoutout to those that listen to us

(08:43):
in Ghana, to those that listento us in Germany, to those that
listen to us in Germany, tothose that listen to us in
Canada, to those that listen tous in Singapore, france, and the
list goes on and on.
And I know, oftentimes Iusually don't give a shout out
to those places that listen tous.
But you know, I do see and Itell people, like all we're
doing is just planting the seed.
You know we plant, somebodyelse is going to come back and

(09:06):
water, but in the end it's Godwho gives us the increase.
I'm not trying to forcesomebody into salvation.
I don't think God would want usto hold somebody on one leg and
try to grab them and pull themso they can obey the gospel.
This is just an act of God love.
We speak the truth in love, butat the same time, we're being
patient.
We're being patient that Godtouched the hearts of men and

(09:28):
women that they too can obey thegospel.
So it's just a blessing knowingthat, because I'll tell you,
adney, you know, the first timewe actually did an episode, the
first episode was your episode.
So I know the first episode yes, it was episode 00, but the
second episode following thatwas yours.
It was Straddling the Fence, episode number one.
And it was a weird feeling justto press play Because it was

(09:55):
filled with so much emotions, especially if it's something
that you've never done before.
You didn't know what to expect.
You didn't know the feedbackyou was going to get.
But one thing that we knew, though we knew that we would all
come, you know, through a formof spiritual attack.
We knew that the minute that aperson opened their mouth for
God, we know they're prone toattack.

(10:16):
So we knew that for the mostpart.
But you know, looking back inhindsight and even to present
day, you know.
That's why I said you know, Igive God the glory because if it
was up to me, I would havestopped a long time ago.
I would have stopped a longtime ago.
But you know, sometimes God useindividuals, god use people, god

(10:37):
use certain things, signs toremind us why we're doing a
thing, and if those people thatministered to us about the
gospel would have gave up on us,who knows?
We probably would have beenwhere we are right now.
We probably would have obeyedthe gospel at a later time.
We don't know that.
But it's just the thought ofhaving a love for souls, having

(10:59):
a love for people to the pointwhere you don't care about the
money, you just say, man, I justwant people to be saved.
So this, this podcast, came outat the heart of the pandemic and
the genesis of the pandemic andwe just wanted to give people
hope that death is not the end.
You know, sometimes when peoplelose loved ones, they, they cry
and they do this and that, butyou know when you are right with

(11:21):
with God, I mean, death is notthe end.
You know that where, if youobey the gospel, where Christ is
there, where you will be withhim in glory.
But so you know, that's thewhole thing about this podcast
and I'm just so overly graciousand thankful for God for giving
us the strength as I alluded to.

Speaker 6 (11:41):
I'm overjoyed because the scripture says blessed are
those who die in the Lord To beable to use this specific
platform to minister to lostsouls.
Will people attack the podcast?
Absolutely, they attackedChrist, they attacked creatures,

(12:01):
they attack the men of God.
So this podcast, we know, willcome under attack.
But the beauty of it is knowingthat when you get a text
message like for me, I receiveda text message I want to say it
was either last year or the yearbefore.
Hey, is this you?
And I'm like, yeah, becausethis person.

(12:23):
In that point in time in theirlife they were listening to my
segment and it blessed them tothe point where they went to
others and say, hey, you need tohear the sister.
I'm like there was nothingspectacular about Adney, right,
it's all.
I learned a lesson from myspiritual mom, and that is.

(12:47):
As long as God gives me breath,I will share his story.
Anything that happened to me inmy life it's not my life, it's
his, because the moment he takesmy breath'm dead, right.
But if, if I go throughanything in life, how dare I not
open my mouth and share thetestimony of how he brought me
through?
I'm not supposed to be here.

(13:08):
I'm not like I was supposed tobe dead already, right in the
eyes of man, the abuse, everything that I endure.
I'm not supposed to be here, but God said I got plans for you
.
So when I think about thepodcast and how it afforded me

(13:29):
the opportunity to share mytestimony, it's not just me
going to a ladies day to speak,it's not that, it's just being
able to sit down and the Lordsays open your mouth and share
my story.
From the moment I left theBahamas to now, right, 46 year
old woman and I am and I saidthis in Bible study yesterday I

(13:55):
am in awe of God.
I am in awe of God.
Every time I read his word, something comes alive to me and
the word becomes more delicious, and that's what I want people
who are not following him toexperience.
There's nothing like sittingdown, reading the word and the

(14:18):
Holy Spirit illuminating thingsfor you.
To me, as a person who's neverhad a relationship with the Lord
, if you sit down and just openthe word and ask God to speak to
you through his word oh my gosh, the blessing word.

(14:42):
Oh my gosh, the blessing.
So that's one of the things Ilove about this podcast, because
we're not doing this for us.
We've gone through the trenches, we still have thorns in our
flesh that we've been asking Godto remove, and he says my grace
is sufficient, right, and thenyou're holding on, and then it's
like his word starts gettingmore delicious.

(15:03):
And then we get to share thebiblical characters, and we get
to share other people'stestimony, and someone out there
who doesn't even know Christsays, oh my gosh, this is what I
need.
To me, that's the part thatbrings me such joy, because it's
not about Adney, it's not aboutNick, it's about God getting

(15:26):
the glory through all of it.

Speaker 1 (15:29):
Amen, amen.
So, but I do want our viewersto stay to the end because, um,
we're gonna feature some of ourpast guests.
I know you and I spoke aboutthis in the past.
Uh, because we, we reallywanted to know where our
previous guests like, what arethey doing now?
And so we started the miniseries where are they now?
Series.
But we initially wanted tocreate an actual series on that,

(15:53):
but I figured, you know, forthe sake of this anniversary, we
are going to feature a few ofour former guests.
And they're going to talk aboutwhere they are now.
So I'm just excited and I had anopportunity to watch the videos
and wow it was like it was ablessing to see the growth of

(16:13):
individuals, because I alwayssay this I say we go from one
one faith to another level, degree of faith.
I call it for going from faithto faith.
Yeah, when you're a christian, you're not supposed to be the
same.
You are not supposed to be thesame.
So, adding you know, last year, last year and also, I also want
our viewers to know that we aredoing a giveaway, because last

(16:35):
year I don't know if maybe youcan refresh my memory I think we
gave a $50 gift card last year.

Speaker 6 (16:40):
I think we gave a $50 gift card last year.

Speaker 1 (16:42):
yes, that was last year, right, and.
I think we gave a t-shirt, yeah, last year and we gave a
t-shirt, yeah, yeah, so thisyear, this year, we're doing a
$100 giveaway.
$100 giveaway and folks, they'll just have to go on our
Facebook page and the links areup there.
The links are on the ad.
So you got a hundred dollargiveaway.

(17:03):
And also guess what?
Adney.

Speaker 6 (17:08):
This is one of the mics.
Oh, one of the first TurnerTurner.
You got it upside down.
There you go.

Speaker 1 (17:13):
Yeah, this, this is like one of the mics that I
bought, I want to say, about twoor three years ago.
Okay, and I say and this is areally good mic, it's a
podcaster mic, it's a road mic, really good, great company.
And I'm giving this away forfree to a winner.
And I told him.
I said like hey, it has to besomebody in the United States.

(17:34):
You know, sorry for all myinternational viewers, please
don't take it personal.
Um, I just that's serious.
Oh, I could give it to someonefrom international.
They just have to pay forshipping, right.

Speaker 6 (17:49):
Yeah.

Speaker 1 (17:50):
But no, it's only limited to to us um, us, um
people that that sign in.
But yeah, it's a good podcast,mike, so there's a campaign
that's going on.
You could go on the websitewwwcallbygodpodcastcom or you
could go on the Facebook page, search us on a call by God
podcast Facebook page and youcan see all the links.

(18:11):
So just wanted to give backjust wanted to give back.

Speaker 7 (18:19):
God bless the best of us.

Speaker 1 (18:20):
It's not only about asking and I rarely, I would say
we, we rarely ask for money, but I'm sure if we do, there
will be people out there thatwould support us financially.

Speaker 8 (18:30):
Of course.

Speaker 1 (18:31):
I get so caught up with the testimonies, I get so
caught up with gospel, I get socaught up with the biblical
characters that sometimes itjust slipped my mind to even,
you know, just ask people ifthey could support the channel
but there are people that dosupport.
They'll share the podcast.
They'll share it, they'lllisten to it or they'll share
with loved ones and as Imentioned before, there's people

(18:53):
that support it financially.
And we want to like.
We thank you so much from thebottom of our heart.

Speaker 6 (19:01):
Yeah.

Speaker 1 (19:02):
Supporting the podcast financially by way of
your donation, so I'm thankfulfor that, thank you.
Thank you, any closing, closingremarks or closing thoughts,
cause this is just a moment forus just to think about how good
has God, how good that God hasbeen to us for the past five
years.

Speaker 6 (19:20):
I say, lord, thank you, give us strength to
continue for another five yearsand five years after that, until
you call us home, because inanother five years I'm going to
be in my 50s.
I don't know how vibrant I'mgoing to be in my 50s.
I don't know how vibrant I'mgoing to be, but I know that as

(19:40):
long as he gives me breath, I'llbe connected to the Call by God
podcast and to the Lord sayswell, adni, your assignment here
on earth is complete.
I am taking you home greetings.

Speaker 15 (19:53):
Call by God family.
I'm Carl Lauren.
I'm Lakeisha Lauren and we wereboth on the Call by God episode
.
I was on episode 243 and 244,the spiritual entrepreneur.

Speaker 16 (20:06):
And I was on multiple episodes Connecting the
Dots, so episode 197 and 199.
And then I was part of theMotherhood series, episodes 245
to 248.

Speaker 15 (20:18):
And I was part of the motherhood series, episodes
245 to 248.
And how I grew.
Since that episode I've been inmultiple ministries.
I've been in youth ministryleading the youth, teaching them
after worship, and also thepre-turnup, which I call the
Spiritual Pep Rally prayerservice before worship.

Speaker 16 (20:41):
All right, all right .
Well for me, how I evolvespiritually.
Let's speak again.
Okay.
So just being funny, I got apart of a book project it's
going to be launching soon.
Actually, it's going to be avirtual book launch coming up on
August 30th.
It's Joyfully Courageous, book2.

(21:02):
My chapter is Forgiving what IBuried.
Also, I got involved in anacapella singing group, giving
All Glory to God, a projectwhere I started out initially
searching for Him and now weboth do it together.

Speaker 15 (21:20):
Amen, we thank you, we love you.
Happy 5th anniversary, calledby God thank you for this
ministry that's touching so manylives.
Thank you and God bless.

Speaker 17 (21:33):
Hi, I'm Elizabeth Stroup-Williams.
I was on episodes 160 through165 with the amazing Call by God
podcast.
What am I doing spiritually?
How have I spiritually involved?
I am daily.
I'm on a daily journey ofcontinually doing what God has
called me to do.
That's from national advocacy, that's from working with

(21:55):
preciousels, eradicatingdomestic violence and leading
women's Bible ministries.
I am busy.
I'm busy doing God's work.
One thing that I keep in theforefront and I understand that
the devil is here to kill, stealand destroy, and what I have to
continually do is fill my cupup with the word of God, fill my

(22:19):
cup up and the things that Godhas called me to do, and one way
that I do that is by definitelylistening to the Called by God
podcast.
I hope you all have a good one.

Speaker 13 (22:29):
Hi everyone.
It's Kendra Devlin and I was onepisode 78 of Called by God
podcast a call by God podcastand since then I have learned to
rest in God, to rest in hisways, to rest in his
understanding, just to trust himand know that whatever it is
that he has called me to,whatever he is bringing me to,
whatever he has purposed for meto do, that it will not only get

(22:53):
done, but I will wrestle lessif I just rest in him.
And so I pray that you willrest in God, that you will
humble yourself as well, and totrust in him and lean out on
your own understanding, regardless of the situation, but
know that God is God.
Congratulations called by Godpodcast for five years.

(23:13):
I pray that God will continueto bless the work of your hands
and that his purposes befulfilled in you.

Speaker 7 (23:20):
Hi, my name is D McLean.
I was on episode 86 of the Callby God podcast.
I want to encourage all of youto be a better version of
yourselves, and we can achievethis by remembering James 1,
23-24.
These verses illustrate whathappens when someone hears God's
word but does not put it intopractice.

(23:41):
We must continue toself-reflect and identify our
part in every situation, whetherit be in a season of sowing and
reaping or in a season ofpersecution for the cause of
Christ.
We must make the necessaryadjustments to align ourselves
with God's word, to continue tostay in prayer and to continue

(24:04):
giving God the glory through theepistle that we live, which is
our lives, that we show theworld.
Thank you.

Speaker 3 (24:13):
Hi everyone.
My name is Missy Brown.
I was on the Calls by Godpodcast, episode 112.
And since then God has donesome mighty things in my life.
He has transformed my life fromthe inside out, where I have
grown in my identity in Christ.
I have also seen him work withme through the darkness, the
dark seasons of my life, and I'mtruly living in a space of

(24:35):
peace, of humbleness and growingdaily in the Lord, and I've
just been so grateful andblessed for all that God has
done for me since I've been onthe Called by God podcast and
it's just been an amazingjourney with the Lord and still
continuously to grow andstrengthen my relationship with
God.
It has been nothing but shortof amazing.

Speaker 18 (24:55):
Hi, my name is Blair Miller and I was on episode 58
of Called by God podcast.
Since my episode, I've grownspiritually by realizing that it
is up to me to study the wordto truly understand the will of
God.
When I was younger, beforeepisode 58, I relied mostly on

(25:17):
the teachings of my youthlistening to ministers teach and
listening to the opinions ofthe Church of Christ based on
tradition.
But since then I have learnedthat it is up to me to read the
word of God to truly understandfor myself, and not just based
on tradition, not just based onthe teaching of my childhood and

(25:39):
early adulthood, to learnmyself what it is that God has
called us to be as Christiansand what he's called us to do.

Speaker 11 (25:49):
Hey everyone, I am Angel Griffin and I was on
episode 178 of the Call by Godpodcast, where I am now.
Currently, I work as a Sundayschool teacher in the Lord's
Church.
I love the kids, so anythingdealing with the youth I love it
.
Also, I'm still working ontrying to improve my daily

(26:12):
studies of reading the Bible andnot just reading the Bible, but
also studying it and trying tounderstand what I study, as well
as just trying to be an examplefor everyone.
I come in contact with andtrusting God with my entire life
, even though things happen inlife that we don't understand,

(26:34):
and you may run into a situationand you don't know how you want
to get out of that situation.
You may not even know how yougot into the situation, but you
always remember to trust God.
So currently, right now, that'swhat I'm doing, just living
each day, and my biggest thingright now is living in peace and
happiness.
Like that's what I want rightnow, just things that make me

(26:57):
happy.
So if it's something that'soverwhelmed, stresses me out,
something that I don't have todeal with, I'm not dealing with
it.
So, yeah, that my Bible, andtry to focus more on trusting
God, not just reading the Bible, but actually studying and being

(27:22):
an example for others.
See you later.

Speaker 12 (27:25):
Greetings to all the called by God podcast audience
members.
My name is Ray.

(27:48):
life and I will encourage you tocontinue to trust him because
he is the way, the truth and thelife.
For a reason I can testifyabout myself, but this is just
me, just you know, inserting andplaying the seat of
gratefulness.
I pray all is well with you andhere's to five more years.
Cheers to you guys.

Speaker 8 (28:10):
Hi everyone.
This is Kim.
I was on episode 19 of thePhenomenal Call by God podcast
and since episode 19,.
God has just tremendouslyshowed out in my life.
He's continued to faithfullymanifest the healing I'm
trusting him for, also continueto provide for me and my little

(28:33):
one, and so I'm just I'mthankful and I'm continuing to
walk in faith.
Also continue to provide for meand my little one, and so I'm
just I'm thankful and I'mcontinuing to walk in faith, to
trust God for all that he'spromised and then some, and
continuing to be steadfast andunmovable.
So, praise God for it all.
I'm thankful and I hope thatyou continue to trust God just

(28:56):
as I am.
Yes, the road may get rough andthings may not look the way you
want them to.
God will work it out, god bless.

Speaker 5 (29:06):
Hi, I'm Devon O'Brien .
I was on episode 48 of theCalled by God podcast and since
then I've learned God podcastand since then I've learned new
lessons and taking my walk withChrist.
My one trouble is the biggestlesson I learned, which is to

(29:27):
stay authentic to who you are,and I did the Call by God
podcast.
I was in middle school, headinginto high school.
I learned that in high schoolthe devil's going to try and
take away who you are as aperson and try to change you,

(29:50):
trying to flip your characterconstantly by bringing different
influences into your life.
It is up to you to staygrounded in god and stay
authentically yourself each andevery single day, and the only
way to do that is toconsistently grow your
relationship with god, stayingin your word, understanding that

(30:11):
god always has your back andwhen you're in a tough situation
, not knowing what to do, whereto go, the one person you can
always turn to is God.

Speaker 19 (30:21):
Great day everyone.
Happy fifth anniversary toCalled by God podcast.
Blessings to you all.
I was on episode 91.
My name is Sister Deidre Wrightand I have grown so much
spiritually.
Thank you for this opportunity, brother Nick and Sister Adney.

(30:42):
I'm thankful for the peace thatGod has given me.
Right now I'm enjoying thebackyard something that I rarely
, never did because I was afraidof everything in nature, but
just understanding how God hasprovided and blessed me and so
many of us, all of us withnature, with just the air that

(31:05):
we breathe, and I thank you toCalled by God podcast for being
such a light in a world filledwith darkness.
God bless you all.
Have a great day.

Speaker 20 (31:18):
Hi, I am Jasmine Reed and I was episode 93 on
Called by God podcast.
It was a very touching episode.
Through that episode, godallowed me to talk about my pain
and also gave me healing as Ibegan to talk about it.
He also showed me that I wasn'tthe only person that
experienced the same pain, thatthere's other people in this

(31:38):
world who have experienced thesame pain that I have and that,
because they trusted in him, hegave them the proper healing
that they needed.
So I say I am thankful for thisepisode.
I am thankful being for Nickeven asked me to be a part of it
, because it gave me a sort ofhealing that I know I couldn't
get from anyone else.
It gave me another level oftrust that I know I couldn't get

(31:59):
from anyone else.
So I thank you, nick.
I thank the podcast called byGod for allowing me to come over
there and share my story andalso allowing God to use them so
I can get the healing that Ineeded.

Speaker 21 (32:12):
Hey there.
Hey, I am Love Cooper.
I bring you greetings fromMemphis, tennessee, where I
worship at Northwest Church ofChrist in South Haven,
mississippi.
I was on episode 153 and 155,called by God Podcast, where in
153, I talked about how I wentto Jerusalem, how I got baptized

(32:32):
in the Jordan River, how I wentto Jerusalem, how I got
baptized in the Jordan River Inepisode 155.
How I had a foot guidetestimony, how I overcome trials
, hardships and tribulations.
I just got back from Grinkswhere I walked the footsteps of
Paul and, yeah, I'm justallowing God to use me to be a

(32:54):
blessing to others.
You never know.
They want a phone call, theywant a text message or just they
want a smile just to encouragesomebody.
And y'all continue to have thefaithless eyes of a mustard seed
.
Happy 5th anniversary to Calledby God podcast.
Bye.

Speaker 10 (33:10):
Hey, so I'm Sister Sandra Sellers.
I don't remember what episode Iwas on for the Called by God
podcast, but how I evolvedspiritually is my relationship.
God went from feeling as thoughI had to work hard to obtain my
salvation, to be saved, tounderstanding that there's

(33:35):
nothing I can ever do to obtainmy salvation.
Christ did it for me, but whatI can do is live faithfully for
him, and I get to live faithfulfor him and that's a privilege
for me rather than a burden, andI live it and love it every day

(33:58):
of my life, and so I amgrateful.
I am grateful for where I amtoday, where God has brought me,
and I am so thankful and I willlive for him in my gratitude.

Speaker 9 (34:10):
Thank you.
Hello, to the listeners outthere, my name is Yolanda
Batista.
I was on episode 181 of Calledby God podcast and since then,
god has been continuing totransform my life Spiritually.
I've learned to lean more onhis word and trust him in every
season, whether in joy or intrials.

(34:32):
My relationship with Jesus hasdeepened and I've discovered the
power of prayer and surrender.
If I can encourage you withanything, it's this God is
faithful and if you put yourtrust in him, he will never fail
you.

Speaker 4 (34:53):
Bye.
Hey everybody, I'm LaurenFitzgerald of Episode 28, the
Called by God Podcast and what Iam doing now.
I am a teacher at a Christianschool and I'm so grateful I am
able to pour into children whatwas important to me my
grandmother into children whatwas important to me my

(35:19):
grandmother Also.
God has helped me to have adeeper understanding of the
family and how important it is,and also how to do better in
your own family.
I am grateful that all of myrelationships are growing, and
being able to accept people forwho they are is really important
, especially for all of us.

(35:39):
Um, you will have things inlife that you have to overcome
from people, from pain, frommemories from the past and with
God, all things are possible.
Also, god is able to renew andrestore you, even when you make
mistakes.
I love you.

Speaker 14 (35:55):
Hello, my name is Kimberly Hardy and I was on the
Called by God podcast, episode60.
And in the time since I've donethe podcast spiritually, I have
really been learning to stepout on faith.
I think that sometimes we thinkthat our anxiety is discernment

(36:16):
and we think that waiting willmake it easier.
But what I'm learning isstepping out on faith just
requires us to continue to moveforward when God gives us
direction.
And so that is the area that Ithink I've been growing the most
in of just moving forward evenwhen I'm scared.
And so that is the area that Ithink I've been growing the most
in of just moving forward evenwhen I'm scared.

(36:37):
And so I'm really, reallythankful and grateful to have
been on the Called by Godpodcast, where I shared my book
Love Letters to Baby Girl, andsince that time I've been
helping others share theirstories, and there have been
times when it felt like therewas a lot of opposition from the
enemy internal, external healthissues but God said keep moving

(36:58):
forward.
And so I'm really, reallygrateful for the opportunity to
continue doing what God iscalling me to do, but he's been
convicting me lately to makesure that I have nothing else on
the altar of my heart, removingidols, removing the idols of
approval, removing the idols ofgluttony, removing the idols of

(37:20):
thinking that I can find myvalue in validation, in work or
in relationships, and so I justthank the Lord for giving me a
season of being convicted tomake change, to take everything
that is not him off of thethrone of my heart.

Speaker 2 (37:39):
Hey guys, my name is Taleria Curry and I was on the
Called by God podcast aboutthree years ago on episode 80.
And since then, um, I know ifyou are familiar with my
testimony in Christ Jesus myname has been changed back to my

(38:01):
birth name, which is TaleriaCurry.
I've also I haven't been in thelesbian world since then, so
it's been about six years, and Ihave been practicing celibacy

(38:21):
for about six years.
So, uh, um besides that, uh,I've just been serving God, uh,
diligently and um, persevering, and I pray that you to persevere
and whatever you're dealingwith, always remember that you
can change and God will give youthe way and show you the way

(38:43):
out of whatever you're dealingwith.
God bless.

Speaker 1 (38:47):
Amen.
So what are the things that Ialways say before I close the
show?
Hey y'all, remember that JesusChrist, he is the King of Kings
and he is the Lord of Lords.
You know I definitely want tomake that very clear that he is
the only King.

Speaker 3 (39:01):
He is the only Lord.

Speaker 1 (39:03):
The only Lord you know.
You got to go through Him right.
John 14, 6.
So we definitely want to makethat very clear.
And he is the way to, andthrough, salvation.
Amen very clear and he is theway to and through salvation.
Amen.
So until then, remember thatjesus christ love you, and he is
coming back, real, real soon.
All right, you're blessed you.
