dive into today's episode.
Hello, beautiful souls.
I'm back on today for anotherepisode on how to move stuck
energy during an integrationperiod.
After you've had a healingsession whether that is with
(01:18):
spinal energetics, reiki or anysort of energy healing modality
or any type of modality whereyou're working on the root
causes, removing blocks,releasing trauma, regulating
your emotions I think it'sreally common for us to want to
feel better right away, which iswhy we're doing this work right
(01:40):
, but sometimes it gets worsebefore it gets better, and so I
want to use this episode as anopportunity to share with you
some tools and insights as towhy energy might feel worse
before it gets better after ahealing session, and then what
you can do with it when it getsreally hard during integration,
(02:04):
and how you can move that energyout of your system, out of your
body and biofield, so that youcan begin to tap into more,
deeper layers of your trueessence and who you are, and
into those natural states, thecore essence behind the work
itself.
So why does someone actuallyfeel unwell after a spinal
(02:26):
energetic session?
So I do want to preface likemore things could surface over
the next few days after asession.
Right, 50% of the work that wedo is on the table or a virtual
session.
The other 50% is theintegration period, and that can
sometimes take 72 hours.
(02:46):
Sometimes that lasts for alittle bit longer a week,
sometimes less and so you couldfeel worse before it gets better
.
You could literally wake uptomorrow after a session today
and feel super irritable, maybewake up with a headache, or you
can fall asleep for three hoursI hear that one a lot right
(03:07):
after a session, or they havemore gut issues, or maybe the
pain in their back is worsebefore it gets better.
You could immediately startfeeling better or have that
clarity and feel the shiftsalready happening.
But you know, it's all verynormal and if things are
surfacing or feeling like it'sworse before getting better, I'm
(03:28):
here to tell you that that'sactually a good thing.
It's all very normal, it's agood thing.
So just inviting you to releaseall expectations, as there's
really no right or wrong way,and I also want to note that no
two healing sessions are everthe same, as well as the
integrations.
No two integrations are everthe same.
(03:48):
Sometimes clients are asking meshould I take time off of work
for the next few days?
I can't answer that, becauseyour first session could be
really intense the integrationperiod, where you feel like shit
for a few days and then itinterrupts work, or the very
next session, depending on thelayer.
You could have a fantasticintegration and feel really good
(04:11):
, right?
So I I it's hard to say do Irecommend, um, maybe, if you're
going to try the workout for thefirst time, to create that
space where you are able to takesome time off and have that
integration after a session.
Yes, I would recommend that, until you know, get through some
(04:32):
deeper layers and get moreregulated For me.
I know that if I have someemotions boiling up or there's
some things heavy that I want towork through, I will definitely
make note of what do I have thenext few days before I do this
session on myself because, yeah,it could definitely trigger
(04:53):
more things the next few days.
Okay, so why exactly can wefeel worse before we get better?
Why do we sometimes get sick, get a cold, have the flu?
It's really common after biggroup healing sessions or if you
go to a retreat, to come backand all of a sudden you have the
flu.
(05:14):
So it's all a good thing.
If you think about, after a deepspring cleaning, your home may
look a little bit messier beforeit gets organized.
It's kind of similar to postspinal.
Energetic symptoms, likefeeling unwell, are part of the
body's way of recalibrating andprocessing the deep work done
(05:38):
during a healing session, andthat's going to lead to a
cleaner, more harmonious state, just like a cleaner home.
Spring cleaning, right?
Um, you're also having anenergetic release, okay, so if
you imagine, uh, draining aclogged pipe, the initial
release of pressure may causesome upheaval, right, but it's
(06:00):
necessary to restore that flow.
So during a healing session, itcan release stored emotions,
toxins, and the discomfort thatfollows is part of your body's
ongoing recalibration.
Okay, so really, coming at thisfrom a place of so much
(06:22):
self-love, compassion, grace, patience and consistency, too
right, we don't want to just dothis one time.
This is a lifestyle change,right.
Healing is a lifestyle change, just like I preach with, how I
used to preach in the fitnessworld, as a fitness coach and
business coach.
Confronting unresolved issues isanother reason why we feel
(06:44):
unwell after a session.
So if you consider opening uplike an old wound to clean it
out, you had this massive cut, you're taking the bandage off
and now you're cleaning it.
It's going to hurt, right, it'sgoing to hurt at first, but
it's essential for that deep, true healing to happen true
healing to happen.
So healing can really bring updeeply buried issues to the
(07:09):
surface.
And the post-session discomfortis your system processing these
unresolved matters right.
You could be having this mindand body detox.
If you think of like the juicecleanses out there.
It's going to make you feelworse.
Sometimes you're going to haveexcuse the TMI, but diarrhea.
(07:32):
You got the shits when you'rehaving a little cleanse, and so
you may feel a little bit worsebefore you're getting better, as
your body is purging thesetoxins out of you, and so your
body might feel ill as itreleases both the physical and
the emotional toxins, which is anatural part of the detox
process.
(07:53):
So really having awarenessaround this.
So picture trying to push aheavy door open.
Right, the resistance is reallystrong, but with that
persistence it begins to open, and the discomfort after a
session can reflect your body'sresistance to fully accepting
(08:17):
newly surfaced issues.
A necessary struggle for, forintegration, right it, it is
gonna feel hard, but that's thepoint when you're going through
the integration periods after asession, sometimes the universe
is going to present you withopportunities to shift what, uh,
(08:39):
you are trying to avoid, whatunwanted patterns.
Sometimes those unwantedpatterns will present themselves
again.
Yeah, it may have been healedenergetically, but sometimes the
universe will almost test youand bring up that same issue one
more time to see how yourespond to it, versus react to
it, right.
So if you are getting triggeredby it, that's a sign of an
(09:02):
unhealed version of you, but ifyou are now responding to it,
then you basically have clearedout that unwanted pattern in
your life.
So when you're having a somaticrelease, especially during
spinal energetics sessions, yousee a lot of people moving on
the table or having thoseemotional releases.
Just imagine ice melting intowater.
(09:24):
Okay, it changes form, but itremains the same substance.
Your body holds onto memoriesand traumas and you're releasing
them through healing and thatcan cause that temporary
discomfort as these energiesshift and integrate into a new
(09:45):
state of being.
You know you're a healeryourself.
I alchemize energy, meaning Iam able to transmute energy, low
frequencies through free will, through commanding, like
literally.
I want you to imagine yourselfsitting in your own command
chair.
You're the motherfucking queenhere and you've got your magic
(10:08):
wand in your hand and you see alow frequency around you.
Maybe that's anger orself-sabotaging behaviors or
that shame or guilt that we'reholding on to the sadness.
You are able to change its form.
Energy is able to shift in form, so you can use your free will
(10:31):
to transmute in that intosomething more beautiful.
And if you've had a sessionwith me, you know that at the
beginning of a session I alwaysset the intention to command out
any low frequencies and toshift and sort it in, transmute,
alchemize it into unconditionallove.
Sometimes a plant, a flower, agarden, something more beautiful
(10:54):
, whatever that is that you wantto create.
You have that free will.
So so yeah, um, there's a lot ofreasons why we have those
post-symptoms after a healingsession.
So definitely keep this in mind.
Really think about healing likepeeling an onion.
(11:17):
Each session is going to removelayers of stored emotions and
traumas and revealing deeperissues that can temporarily
cause discomfort but ultimatelylead to a clearer, more profound
sense of well-being.
(11:38):
And that's why no two sessionsor integrations will ever be the
same to that one person or toanybody else, because what
you've been through, even ifyou've had the same parents who
were both abusive, how youresponded to them as a child, is
going to be completelydifferent.
For maybe your brother orsister, you know, one could
(12:00):
develop anxiety, whereas onecould develop drug abuse or
alcoholism.
So it's important not tocompare yourself.
For you know, it's always a redflag to me when people tell me
I had an awesome childhood, myparents were great, and I'm not
saying that they weren't, butoftentimes we dismiss.
(12:21):
Everybody has childhood trauma.
It's just it's.
It just is what it is.
And so kind of going deep intothat and realizing what's going
on in your life now are signs ofunhealed versions of you.
If things are triggering you,if you're attracting unwanted
people, patterns, relationshipsinto your life or with money,
(12:44):
there are signs of unhealedversions of you.
So, or things that happen toyou in life, like if you get
rear-ended by somebody in yourvehicle, that's usually a sign
of the universe trying to tellyou what are you not pushing
towards?
And if we're not pushingtowards something, oftentimes
it's because we have this beliefwithin us, because of a wound
(13:09):
that we're holding onto, toinvite you to change that belief
, because you know deep downsubconsciously that that isn't
in alignment with you and whoyou are.
(13:29):
Your soul knows.
Your soul is like yoursubconscious right, and 95% of
how we act and move throughoutthe day is subconscious, meaning
that we don't always are awareof what actually is going on
because it's just programmed inus.
It's like tying your shoe andnot conscious of being aware of
(13:51):
it.
You've done it so many times.
You just do it right, okay.
So what I want to talk aboutnext is a little bit more on the
transformation itself and howto help the integration period.
You know, if you really thinkabout transformation during
integration.
(14:11):
What is key here?
Just imagine baking a cake.
After mixing all of thoseingredients together, you know
the flour and the sugar and theeggs.
It needs time in the oven torise and to set into place.
Right, that takes um space toshift in that form.
(14:32):
So, similar to a post-sessionperiod, uh, if with healing is
when the insights and healingfrom the session bake into your
system, quite literally, leadingto that lasting transformation.
So, really giving yourself thatspace and this is going to
build resilience, you know youcan really consider healing
(14:55):
sessions like building a muscle.
It really is.
You're strengthening youremotional and your spiritual
resilience, making it easier toface and integrate challenging
emotions over time.
Just as muscles grow strongerwith repeated exercise, so can
(15:17):
your emotional and spiritualmuscles as well, and so it does
get easier.
It really does.
Um, but, yeah, make sure thatyou have that community.
I think running with others, hearing their stories of
overcoming challenges andsupporting each other along the
(15:39):
way, really, um, the way youknow it can really make the
journey more manageable.
Uh, similarly, sharing postsession experience within a
community can create that senseof um, solidary, um, uh, what am
I trying to say?
Um, motivation to continue yourhealing journey right.
(16:01):
So having that community, somebody that you can talk to,
my clients are um.
They can talk to me anytime.
Usually we we chat back andforth on Instagram voice, noting
back and forth Cause I meanit's just fun that way, but
making sure that you are um,running this, this or walking
this journey with your healingwith other people, creating that
(16:24):
tribe, that like-minded tribe,is so, so essential.
I probably say that's probablylike the top three things that
are going to support you duringyour integration period.
And if you don't have that yet, find them, find them.
Almost every time I do a cardpull for somebody who's
(16:44):
struggling with this, theyalways get the find your tribe
card.
And so if you're resonatingwith that message right now,
definitely seek them out.
There are.
So like I was blown away.
I felt so alone, so aloneduring the beginning of my
healing journey.
I thought I was the only onehere that had been through so
(17:05):
much trauma and I used to alwayssay like I got a lot of shit.
You know I got a lot of thingsto work on, but the thing is so
do other people you're not theonly one and when you can share
your experiences or just bearound other people who are
going through something similar.
It really helps create thatsafe space for you to continue
to express.
(17:26):
Your environment is so vital.
It is so vital, in fact.
If I know somebody comes to meand they are still living in an
abusive household, then I wouldactually turn them away from
healing until they have anenvironment where they can
safely integrate the work thatthey're doing, because it could
(17:48):
make it worse.
It could make it worse.
They're trying to heal and it'spointless.
It's it's.
You're not going to getanywhere until you create the
environment that you need tosafely heal.
So really consider that in yourjourney, um, in your
environment, and what that feelslike for you and how you can
(18:10):
use that to better yourprocesses.
Okay, so I do want to share someemotional and physical
aftercare, um tips and tricks,um.
But I do want to know, like, depending on what chakra we're
working on, what energy systemwe're working on maybe that's
(18:33):
the crown, the third eye, throat, heart, solar plexus, sacral or
root which we work on, all ofthese during a spinal energetic
session or through um Reiki aswell that these types of
responses are very normal, right?
So, for example, if I'm workingheavily on somebody's top of
(18:57):
their spine, like their crown, their third eye area.
It's really normal after asession to feel more pressure in
the head, maybe even lack focus, to overthink even more, to
maybe even have ringing in theears, be sensitive to people
around you.
Colds are really common ifwe're working in this space.
(19:20):
Right, if you think about thepressure in your sinuses, really
anything like around the headspace, if you're feeling
lightheaded, dizzy, um, you know, I think I said vivid dreams
are really common too.
That um could be a sign thatwe're clearing some tension
patterns that are being storedin this space within your body
(19:41):
and energetic field.
Now, if we were working on thethroat area, right there on the
lower cervical spine, maybe youstart coughing, um, maybe you
have a little bit of drainage inthe back of your throat or some
irritation in the back of yourthroat.
A lot of anger can surface fromthis space too.
(20:05):
So, more expression.
You could be communicating more.
You know I am pointing out someof like the like the um, not
wanted responses that couldsurface, but also you could have
a positive um uh integration aswell, which is great, where
you're finding yourselfexpressing more, communicating
(20:26):
more with your spouse, with yourboss in your work or showing up
for your business in adifferent way.
You're just noticing thatyou're able to speak your truth
and, um, maybe you're also goingthrough a transition in your
life where you're moving, you'reshifting identities.
A lot of that can get stuck inthe throat chakra as well.
(20:50):
Um, so, yeah, that's, those aresome normal responses.
Um, this is a big one, theheart chakra, this heart energy
system.
Um, so, if your chest feels alittle bit sore or you have, um,
the upper back is hurting, right right there in the heart
space, uh, your arms down, yourhands are also part of the heart
(21:10):
space too.
Maybe you feel more grief, moresadness.
You're crying more A lot oftimes.
Under anger is sadness, so youcould feel a little bit of anger
as well.
You could feel lighter rightaway, or you could feel a little
heavier right away.
Away, kidney and urinarypurging is pretty common.
(21:40):
Your stomach could be upset, right, if you think about when
you've lost a loved one, howunsettling that was in your
stomach and maybe you couldn'teat.
So it's a very common responseto when you're releasing trapped
emotions to feel upset in thestomach.
It's wanting to move up and out.
You and I do want to quicklyshare and definitely take mental
(22:02):
note of this Whatever is comingis going.
Whatever is coming is going.
That statement helps me so muchto not push it back down.
That is probably the number onemistake I see during
integration periods or evenduring a session where people
are, they're starting to feelstuff and our body has been and
(22:25):
our nervous system has beenwired or programmed a certain
way to want to shove it backdown because we think that's
what's keeping us safe.
But in reality you have to feelthrough that, to feel the dual
reality on the other side ofthat.
So, like happiness is on theother side of fully feeling that
sadness within, but we have toallow that to surface.
(22:46):
So just remembering thatwhatever is coming is going for
you allows you to hold thatspace for 60 or 90 seconds or
less, so that it doesn't feel asdifficult, and oftentimes it
doesn't.
It's not as hard as we think itis.
Um, in fact, a session withspinal energetics feels very
cathartic, like it's.
(23:07):
Yeah, you could feel some ofthe pain surfacing or in your
heart coming up, but it, it, itgoes a lot quicker.
Like your innate wisdom, yourintelligence is freaking nominal
.
It knows what to do to movethrough that.
But if we don't allow it tofinish that cycle, then it's
(23:27):
just going to continue tomanifest into other symptoms
within the body or you can getrid of it in, you know, 60
seconds.
So, um, just remembering that Iuh, I just wanted to share that
really quick because it'shelped me tremendously get
through some really, reallytough times.
So if we're working on the lowerback, you know, down to the
(23:48):
solar plexus here in this chakra, obviously this is where your
digestive system is.
So, again, if your stomach isupset during integration, that's
super normal.
Maybe you have a sore lowerback, tingling numbness in the
legs.
You could also have an increasein empowerment, that power,
(24:11):
that confidence, since thatsolar plexus has a lot to do
with that inner light shiningwithin you as you step into your
dharma and your gifts and whoyou're, you're meant to be.
Um, so yeah, and then thesacral chakra down into the hip
areas.
So exhaustion is a big sign hereof being blocked, but also
could be part of the integrationperiod too.
(24:33):
You could feel exhausted rightafterwards, um, you know, taking
that three hour nap rightafterwards, or falling asleep
early and waking up 12 hours andyou haven't slept like that in
years.
Right?
Um, very common um uh responsewhen we work in this space.
(24:53):
Um, you could have a little bitmore discomfort and pain in the
hips and your legs and youcould have increased emotional
awareness and self-trust.
Internal trust is actually theprocess within this space, and
so don't be surprised if youactually build more trust in
(25:15):
yourself as you continue to movethrough the work.
It's quite interesting.
A lot of people who come to mefor the first time are, you know
, they have a little bit ofdoubt in their mind about the
work itself, and so I often findmyself in their hips first and
leaning into trusting themselves.
A lot of times, if they are notsure about something about the
(25:38):
work working, then usually it'sa sign that there's something
within them that they're nottrusting themselves.
Because this is what the workis all about is helping you tap
into your own healing abilities, and so it's basically you're a
mirror right to that belief Rootchakra for working down in this
space.
You can have some sore joints, right Um, with your ankles, your
(26:02):
knees, your wrists, hot, coldfeet, again digestion or
appetite disruption.
In this space, you could alsofeel more calm and relaxed.
This is often where we holdanxiety, where we hold stress.
The fight or flight responsesare in this space and being
stored here, and so when we'recoming out of this space, a lot
(26:22):
of times clients will begin tofeel more calm and relaxed.
So such a great thing, okay.
So I want to talk aboutemotional aftercare.
So if you're having someemotions coming up, here are
some tools to help you with that, to make that those stuck
(26:43):
emotions continue to move up andout, up and out.
So make sure that you'reengaging in some self-care
activities that can really helpyou relax and to ground yourself
.
You know this could includedeep breathing.
One of my favorite ones is just10 long deep breaths, or
(27:06):
breathing in and right when youfeel like you breathe it all the
way in, take one more bigbreath in.
So one more time, yeah, soyou'll notice like just taking
one more deep breath in.
(27:26):
Basically, that's justsignaling to your nervous system
the rest and digest state toallow yourself to kind of just
surrender to the present momentand get more into this
meditative state.
Now, meditation is going to beso, so, so important for this.
Now, a lot of people startingout are going to struggle with
this because, if you're like me,when I first started just to
(27:49):
meditate for 30 seconds, I wasalready like on my to-do list
Okay, what do I do next today?
Right?
So if you're struggling withthat, something that I
absolutely love to do is, uh,when I first started was just
meditating on mundane tasksthroughout the day.
So, for example, doing dishes.
I love to tune into all mysenses.
(28:11):
Okay, what do I smell withthese dishes?
Maybe you're putting away dirtydishes.
Maybe just noticing how thedishes are smelling, or the
clean dishes putting those away.
Noticing what you hear with thecups and plates hitting each
other, Seeing the platesthemselves.
Noticing, okay, what do I seeright now?
(28:32):
Maybe how it feels, feels thesoap on your skin and, yeah,
just maybe taste something fromdoing dishes.
So, just tuning into yoursenses and you can do this
outside, in nature.
Um, if you struggle to meditate, just go outside with your cup
of coffee in the mornings, um,or tea in the evenings, and just
(28:54):
sit out there and just tuneinto your senses.
What do I see around me?
Maybe you see birds flying andyou see grass around you, and
then noticing what you hear.
Maybe the birds are chirping oryou hear the neighbors next
door and then what do you feelon your skin?
How does the air feel on yourskin?
So you kind of get my gist hereDefinitely trying some present
(29:21):
mindfulness exercises will be sointegral for that emotional
aftercare.
Gentle exercise, especially yoga, is so, so powerful.
I highly highly recommend yoga, maybe doing some stretching.
A lot of the postures that wesee on the table are yoga
(29:42):
postures and yoga is an energyhealing modality and when you
can practice that, especially inbetween sessions, you will get
more out of your sessions.
Um.
So yeah, just spending time innature barefoot, get your
barefoot on the ground on thedirt, get a little dirty, um,
and just feeling that sun onyour skin and the warmth is so
(30:06):
beautiful to help you becomecompletely present.
Hydration nutrition is going tobe very helpful during this time
.
You guys know I'm a fitness andnutrition coach back in the day
, but I still live and preachthis and it's so important to
take care of your body whileyou're healing.
(30:27):
We had a big retreat here acouple of weeks ago and
nutrition made a huge differenceto have non-processed foods and
fresh foods to eat at everymeal and it just helped that
body process and releasing ofthose emotions.
(30:47):
So definitely hydrating and, bythe way, if you're not drinking
about a gallon of water everyday, you're not drinking enough.
Um, I, I eat nutritious foodsabout 80 of the time.
You know you don't have to beso strict.
Your relationship with food andeverything is going to be
really important.
It's going to matter more thanchoosing this diet or that diet.
(31:10):
Just eat what feels right foryour body.
Non-processed foods are usuallya good um starting point.
Okay, so resting, allow yourselfto rest, get sufficient sleep.
Your body and mind need time torecover.
They need um.
I mean, it's just like workingout, working out and then
(31:31):
resting.
Resting is just as important asworking out, because that is
where true healing really beginsto happen, in those states of
sleep, and so make sure you'reallowing yourself time to sleep.
A lot of people end up sleepingbetter after healing sessions
because they're not in thatchronic state of anxiety or
(31:55):
fight or flight.
Journaling is a really great wayto just write down your
thoughts and feelings, to helpyou process what you're
experiencing, but also to absorbthe insights and messages that
you received, maybe during asession, or maybe what I shared
or another practitioner shares, and what they noticed during a
session, or maybe what I sharedor another practitioner shares,
and what they noticed during asession.
(32:15):
So writing that down you'regoing to 10 times more likely to
remember it and absorb that andembody that too.
So journaling can reallyprovide the clarity and a safe
outlet for those emotions thatmight surface Again.
Your support system connectingwith your friends, your family,
(32:36):
a support group, really shareyour feelings with trusted
individuals can really providethat comfort and the validation
too of what you're going throughand really practicing those
mindfulness techniques andgrounding exercises are going to
really help you stay presentand manage any overwhelming
emotions that that come up.
(32:57):
There was, um, when I first gotinto this I had a client who
for almost a week, week and ahalf, just was so irritable and
so angry after a session andthen um, but didn't?
I realized they just didn'thave the tools on how to handle
that.
A lot of times we're healingbecause we don't know how to
(33:18):
emotionally regulate, and somaybe I'll do a whole nother
podcast episode on how toregulate your emotions.
But these type of exercises aregoing to help you move past that
irritability or anger.
If that is surfacing up for you, sometimes just literally like
if you notice it, go shut theroom and close yourself off in
(33:40):
this room in your house, andthen close your eyes, take a
deep breath and then talk to theirritability.
Talk to the anger, right, liketalking to it in third person.
Like, what's up, anger?
What do you need right now?
How do you need to express?
And listen?
Listen, the first thing thatcomes up is usually what you
need to do.
Maybe you need to stretch, maybe you need to punch your
(34:01):
pillow, maybe you need to do,maybe you need to stretch, maybe
you need to punch your pillow, maybe you need to shake, maybe
you need to listen to a song, maybe you need to drink water,
maybe you need to just take somedeep breaths.
What does anger?
Talk to it?
Talk to it.
It wants to.
It's getting your attentionright now.
Anger is your friend.
Anger is your friend.
(34:23):
Talk to it and love it.
It's trying to help you.
Actually, it's trying to helpyou.
But if we keep avoiding it,we're just going to suppress it
and then those patterns are justgoing to repeat itself and
manifest into symptoms.
So um wanted to share that.
Okay.
So physical aftercare where umagain the, the staying hydrated,
(34:48):
um resting and relaxing, allowing your body to to relax
after a session, you do want toavoid strenuous activities that
could strain the muscles andjoints that were released.
So just be mindful of that.
After a session, you do want toavoid any overexertion.
So, while it is important tostay active, we don't want to
(35:12):
overexert ourself immediately.
You want to give your body timeto adjust to the challenges.
So, yes, this is yourpermission we're hearing this
from a fitness coach to rest, rest, rest, rest, rest is just
as important as training themuscle, just like in healing,
giving yourself that space andtime to um have the R and R so
(35:36):
that you can integrate andcalibrate.
Ice heat sometimes might beneeded.
I've had clients where I didn'teven touch them at all but I
was working on their headspace, their neck, for a duration of
the session and then their neckis so sore the next day, and so
(35:58):
sometimes a little bit of ice orheat can help to treat the area
, to manage any of thatdiscomfort or that soreness
that's coming through.
I've had people have rashes oracne surface to the skin right
(36:19):
Rashes.
I've had rashes a couple timesmyself and if you think about it
, it's kind of like heat rising,it's anger rising, and so
usually the rash will just goaway on its own, but if it
itches or anything, you know, maybe just putting some cream on
it.
Gentle stretching is alwaysgreat to alleviate any of that
(36:40):
muscle tension.
Gentle stretching is alwaysgreat to alleviate any of that
muscle tension, but also topromote flexibility so that it's
easier for energy to movethroughout the body.
Make sure you're maintaininggood posture, being mindful of
your posture to avoid undoingthe benefits of the session.
So really practicing goodposture when sitting and when
(37:03):
standing, when you're at thecomputer, when you're looking at
your phone, are you sittingupright with your spine and
looking straight ahead, shoulderblades rolled back and down,
and if you think about yourbelly button leaning in towards
your back spine?
That's how you can create areally good posture.
And you know, practice that toooften because a lot of times,
(37:28):
um, we just fall back into thoseold habits and we're not even
know we're like slouching or,you know, have poor form.
But, um, just be aware, beaware of your posture, even when
you're driving and especiallywhen you're working or watching
TV.
Listen to your body, payattention to how your body feels
after a session.
(37:48):
Right, a lot of people ask meokay, what should I do?
What should I do to keep upwith this work and what should I
do to take care of myself?
And my answer to you is what doyou feel like you need to do
after a session or in thatmoment?
Because this work is abouthelping you remember what to do
(38:11):
what's best for you.
I can tell you what you shoulddo all day long, but these are
all just tools to guide you, tohelp you find that inner trust
within you and learning how tolisten and trust your own body.
Your body is alwayscommunicating with you and so
you'll find throughout thisjourney.
(38:34):
If you're feeling some pain inyour hips, asking the pain in
your hips, what do you needright now?
How can I best support you?
And if you don't know, that'sokay too.
You can always ask me after asession.
My clients reach out all thetime and they share their
experiences with me, butultimately, in my opinion, I'm
not doing a good enough job ifI'm not telling them how our
(38:55):
teachings one, how to listen totheir own body, so that you can
continue to regulate and movethat stuck energy out of your
body.
So really giving yourselfpermission to invite that and
stop seeking that externalsupport.
And because you do have theanswers within, but I am still
there too, if that is somethingthat you need until you find
(39:18):
that within you.
Um, I would say probably themost important thing to do, uh,
to keep moving through stuckenergy in the body is to keep
your appointments going, andthis isn't because I want your
business, but consistency iscare.
Uh, consistency and care canlead to better outcomes.
Okay, what we recommend is tostick to sessions every one to
(39:45):
two weeks for your first threeto six sessions, and sometimes
it can be a lot more sessions.
Okay, sometimes you might needto stick to it.
Um, depending on howdysregulated you are or lack of
mind and body connection, youmay need to have um two weeks in
between each session.
But it's the consistency everytwo weeks.
(40:06):
Okay, the biggest mistake I seeis people doing this once
because, oh, they're justcurious, oh, this is just
interesting.
I just, you know, I'm justtrying something out.
But no, this work is not forthe faint of heart.
This work is for people who areready to heal and to get shit
done.
So consistency is vital and, yeah, so really sticking to it,
(40:33):
and then you'll know, like, asyou begin to be less responsive
in the external world that youwon't need this work as much
because you already know how toregulate.
You're already in that state ofcalm and peace and so,
depending on your goals and whatyou're looking to achieve next
in your healing sessions, thenyou could, you know, come back
(40:56):
and do.
For me personally, I try to dosessions at least once a week.
Now, for me personally, I tryto do sessions at least once a
week Now.
Uh, when I first started thisabout a year and a half ago, I
was sticking to it every every10 days for my first two to
three months, and then it wasonce a month.
I felt really good and then Iwas like you know what?
(41:18):
I want to dig deep into someancestral trauma, or I want to
work on expanding my capacity toreceive more, so working on
raising my frequency, and that'sactually when light language
started to come through.
So you're in.
So then I started going weeklyafter that, but I wasn't
(41:39):
releasing as much tension.
But there is still a lot ofclearing.
The more you expand, the morethings you have to clear,
especially with light language.
You're going to notice, especially in the throat area,
things clearing out.
So you are going to haveseasons with your healing
journey where you're going to goall in at first, which I
recommend to be consistent andget the most out of the work,
(42:01):
but there's going to be timeswhere you're going to back off
and you know living your life isprobably the number one thing
when it comes to healing.
Feeling and living your life islike the best healing modality
out there.
So make sure you're having funand enjoying the process, not
suppressing joy, not suppressingenjoying life outside of these
(42:23):
sessions.
Okay, I actually have to runonto a next client call here,
but wanted to jump on and recordthis podcast episode for you,
especially for my clients, butfor anybody who's curious about

healing experience that is morefocused on dialing in and
