Summary: It is time, as God has appointed the time for Jacob to move on from his Uncle Laban, and back to the Promised Land, and start God’s work on what will be the Land, and the Messiah to come and provide Himself the sacrifice for sin. Even with a great calling upon his life it appears that Jacob is getting comfortable in his good life, so God has to stir things up to get him moving in the right direction. Maybe that is where you are at, and God is stirring your life through some hard or uncomfortable circumstances; Good word for all of us in this passage. Join Us!
