"Have it your way." This motto may be good for a burger, but it's not appropriate for church. Many people expect the church to do things their way. But Scripture teaches us that worship and the church must be God's way.

Why does the world say it's okay to have an abortion? Romans 1:18-25 answers this question. God's righteous wrath comes on men who suppress the truth in idolatry. So only the Gospel of Jesus Christ can resolve this problem. 

What are we supposed to do in church? Worship is sacred, and God is holy, so what we do in church must be right. Worshipping God properly means following His regulations. Listen to the second message in our Foundations series on worship.

Why is worship so important? The truth is, everyone worships something or someone. So we must strive to worship the One True God in the right way. Listen to Pastor Dave's first message in our Foundations series on worship.

This week, we had a special guest speaker, Carl Gormley, our missionary to the Philippines. We're excited for what God is doing through the Gormley family. Carl's sermon was from Isaiah 58, "The Light of God."

Why do we do what we do in church? Worship is a sacred activity. Therefore, worship must be regulated by God. So what happens when we offer unauthorized worship? We find the answer in Leviticus 10. 

What does God require of us in worship? How we worship God is not for us to determine. We can't come to God on our own terms. So acceptable worship must be faithful to God's holy standard. 

Why do we exchange gifts on Christmas? This tradition points us to the best gift of all in Jesus Christ. In this week's sermon, we learn that God has given us the perfect Priest. 

While the world around us is in shambles, we are reminded this Christmas that we are part of a Kingdom with a King that is eternal, filled with peace and joy!

Everyone wants contentment and joy in life. However, many people are looking in the wrong place. Only Jesus can give us true joy in life. So this Thanksgiving, we need to find our purpose in Him. 

Ignorance is no excuse for the law. Just because you did something accidentally doesn't mean you're not guilty. So how should we address unintentional sin? Leviticus 4 teaches us that God takes all forms of sin very seriously, and we should too. 

"How can God accept a guilty sinner like me?" When you're trying to do the right thing but keep failing, it's hard to feel God's presence. You're trying to approach God, but He seems cut off. The book of Leviticus teaches us how to approach God properly.

In light of all that God has done for us, how should we live as Christians? The book of Ephesians unpacks the riches of God's grace in Christ. We've been challenged to walk in a manner worthy of our calling. Paul summarizes that walk in the conclusion of this letter.

What happens when someone shows up to a battle unprepared? When you're ill-equipped for the task at hand, it doesn't end well. How much more so in the fight for souls! So we must put on the armor of God to be prepared for spiritual battles. 

What do we fight for as Christians? Ephesians 6 says that our fight is not against people, but against the spiritual forces of evil. There is a constant war for your soul. So we must fight to win! 

How does the Gospel affect my job and work ethic? God created work to be a reflection of His intelligence and creativity, but sometimes we view it as a necessary evil. But what if God has a greater purpose for your work? Ephesians 6:5-9 reveals that we are called to glorify God with our work by honoring earthly authority. 

How does the Gospel impact the family? In Ephesians 6:1-4, God gives specific instructions regarding the parent-child relationship. When we obey these commands, it brings joy and blessings.

God created marriage for His glory and our good. To have a healthy marriage, we must understand and practice our God-given roles. This week, Pastor Dave examines the husband's role in marriage. 

Marriage is the most important human relationship and the clearest picture of the Gospel on earth. However, marriage is under attack. So if we want to picture the Gospel accurately, then we must understand our roles in marriage. This week, Pastor Dave walks us through the wife's role in marriage from Ephesians 5:22-33.
