Episode 110 - The Big Sur Murders

In October of 2003, Jacqueline Toves and Abigail Tapia were found side-by-side on a bed at an oceanside resort in central California, and chaos ensued. Authorities dug in to determine whether this was the result of a suicide pact or the result of a horrendous double murder. While some were convinced of the former, there were undeniably bizarre aspects of the scene that suggested something more sinister. One thing is undeniable, this tragedy can only be found at the center of an incredibly tangled web of strange coincidence, mental illness, and contradictory witness statements. This is a wild ride. Enjoy!
