Albanezi has called the Bondai Beach shooting a targeted attack
on Jewish Australians. At least twelve people have died, including
one shooter, while another is in custody following shots being
fired last night at the beach. Now officially a crime scene.
Twenty nine people are in hospitals across Sydney, including two

police officers. Rabbi Eli Schlanger, one of the organizers of
the Hahnaka by the Sea event, has been identified as
one of the dead.

Policing is seeking witnesses to an alleged machete tack in
Mitchell on Saturday night. Police say they responded to reports
that a man had been attacked on Sandford Street in
Mitchell around ten thirty pm. They say the man suffered
several deep lacerations to his head and body and was

transported to hospital in a serious but stable condition. Police
do not believe the incident occurred at the Spilt Milk Festival.
Anyone who saw the incident or has dash cam footage
is urged to contact crime stoppers. ACT Policing is asking
for our help to identify a man following an alleged
theft in Fishwick. Police received a report in October that

a man allegedly entered a store there and stole a
four thousand dollar pressure washer. Police say the man believed
to be involved in the alleged incident was wearing a
long sleeve orange Hiverz work shirt and a wide brimmed hat.
