Hello from the Amplified newsroom. I'm Ashley Nolan. Coordinators of
a program treating wombats with mange have made a plea
to the public after cameras monitoring the animals were allegedly
stolen from Enverrona drive in Jeribombra. Wildcare Queen Bean is
treating a number of wombats in the area and says
the cameras are vital to provide feedback on their health

and treatment progress. The cameras cost around two hundred and
fifty dollars each and Wildcare is calling for them to
be returned or for anyone with information to come forward.
Moves to help address the disadvantage experienced by members of
our first nation's community. There's a public hearing today for
an inquiry into the public sector Closing the Gap Legislation

Amendment Bill. The bill aims to improve accountability, requiring ACT
government agencies to report annually on what steps have been
taken to help close the gap. The Act's livability rating
has dropped according to Place Scores Liverability Census. It's a
similar story on a national level, with liverability dropping around

his mum, news presenter Alison Drouer to cancer less than
two weeks ago.

very lucky to have twenty one years with such a
beautiful human. So yeah, I'm very very proud, and yeah,
