revealed the fifty year old gunman shot dead by police
in Bondai yesterday had been living in Australia on a visa.
Home Affairs Minister Tony Burk says his twenty four year

The father arrived in nineteen ninety eight on a student visa,

New South Wales Police officers and emergency responders at the scene.

their ongoing work to provide support and security to the
ACT Jewish community. This has been an ongoing effort for
the past year and this will continue over the coming
days as this situation develops.

The ACT Jewish Community has held a memorial service at
the National Jewish Memorial Center in Canberra today following yes
to today's terror attack. President Athel Morris says it provided
a space for Jewish and non Jewish communities to gather
in support of each other and help move on.

to get people to feel better, to overcome their grief,
their fear, their sadness, their fright and to try and
get on with their lives.

In the meantime, ACT Chief Minister Andrew Barr says if
