is on the way for Ozzie's struggling to pay student
loans if Labor is re elected next year. Education Minister
Jason Clair says the average HEXTEBT will be cut by
six hundred and eighty dollars annually and payments lowered.

If you're on say seventy grand a year, is that
you'll have to pay one three hundred dollars less a
year than you currently have to. And if you're on
about eighty grand a year, it means that you'll have
to pay about eight hundred and fifty dollars less a
year than you currently have to.

Victorian police are appealing for witnesses after a fatal shooting
in North Melbourne. A man was found dead on a
footpath yesterday. Detective Acting Inspector Alan Rumble is calling for
anyone who saw the shooting to come forward.

just highlight the fact this is an opportunity. We are
here to appel for witnesses that we know that there

Runners have officially hit the pavement for the Canberra Times
Fun Run this morning, with a new half marathon distance
this year. More than five thousand runners are competing over
four distances. Live music, kids, entertainment and recovery sessions are

around the Parliamentary Triangle, Lake Burley Griffin and the City Center.
