It’s so easy to lose your halos, in the city of Angels,
Degenerates parade as the “self-made,”
Gurus corralling the masses, parking asses in classes, spouting vitriolic molasses,
A fix to scratch that itch,
An unattainable craving, begging for their souls’ saving,
Eventually, the Cannibals revert to Animals,
Frenzied and Crazy’d,
When toxic Dharma faces moxie Karma,
At the Intersection of Misdirection,
Cries for Pity, Drowned in ’Riddy,’
An Oxy to cure your Poxy - for two hours,
Descent down the Yellow Brick Road to the Halfway Abode,
A plea for fees, to pay for the lifestyle they please,
Retreat to overpriced rooms, reflecting on many past moons,
On themes of Hollywood Dreams,
Proclamations for salvations,
Cries from residents of the Hell of Hollywood.
