E11: Low-Stakes Intentions: a continuation of E10

January is a loaded month, it feels like we need to start fresh and declare new goals and intentions and seemingly overnight morph into a  better version of ourselves. December was a really hard, long, sad month and the pivot into fresh start has been hard BUT we’ve taken time to sit down and really consider what a better, more meaningful life looks like and it’s a series of better and more meaningful days. So here are some of our low-stake intentions for 2023.

What we’re burning

Diane: Frama St. Pauls
Ashley: Overose Almond Croissant

Ashley’s Low-Stake Goals:

1. Two solo outings a month
2. Read two books a month
3. Limit candle purchases
4. Embrace my cringe
5. Post like it’s 2006
6. Find a signature lip color
7. Shut down anything that makes me feel bad - intrusive thoughts, mean messages from strangers, accounts I no longer align with
8. Make an effort to shop local

Diane’s Low-Stake Goals:

1. Establish a concrete skincare routine - I bounce around a lot
2. Walk more outside
3. Spend more time in “discovery” mode vs. consuming mode
