This week we’re rolling into Papaya Cake, a Colorado-grown indica-leaning hybrid that blends Papaya x Wedding Cake x White OG genetics. This strain brings a sweet, tropical nose with smooth, floral undertones — one of the most fragrant jars we’ve cracked open in a while.

Terpene Profile

  • Limonene – citrus brightness, calm clarity, helps with mood and focus

  • β-Caryophyllene – peppery spice, anti-anxiety potential

  • Linalool – subtle floral, relaxing body and mind

Cannabinoid Profile

  • Typically testing in the 20–25% THC range with trace CBD and CBG present

  • Delivers a balanced body calm without couch-lock

Effects

  • Relaxed, aroused, sleepy (half-mast jokes included)

  • Creeper onset — subtle at first, then a wave of calm focus settles in

  • Feels like a mental “weighted blanket”: soothing without sedation

  • Chatty, introspective high great for creative work or conversation

Smells & Flavors

  • Sweet tropical fruit (mango, papaya, apricot)

  • Floral finish without being perfumey

  • Peppery spice layered under the fruit notes

Grow Notes

  • Performs best indoors, where dense buds and frosty trichomes thrive

  • Responds well to controlled humidity to keep terps rich

  • Tends to finish with compact, resin-heavy nugs ideal for concentrates

Medical / Wellness Uses

  • Reported to help with anxiety, depression, insomnia

  • Smooth onset makes it approachable for those sensitive to racier sativas

Possible Side Effects

  • Mild dry eyes and dry mouth at higher doses

  • Overconsumption may bring on drowsiness or head pressure, but most describe it as pleasant, not overwhelming

Bottom Line

Papaya Cake is a top-tier hybrid for people who want relaxation without losing focus. It’s as good for unwinding after a stressful day as it is for a daytime study session. Sweet on the nose, smooth on the exhale, and powerful enough to earn a spot in our all-time favorites.

(00:08):
Welcome to Cannabis School. I'm your host, Jesse Angeles.
And I'm Brandon Elder. And we're here to talk to you
about everything pertaining to cannabis from vape, flour,
edibles, strains, and everythingin between.
And see, I have lots to rouse sleeping gravis and.

(00:30):
Yeah, right. I wish to do that so.
We're going to be like half mastthis whole episode and welcome.
Welcome back. Hey, we've got what Brandon just
alluded to. We're going to be 1/2 mast.
This half mast and. We'll tell you more about that
as we get into this strain boat today.
We've got a strain that sounds so good and it smells amazing.

(00:55):
It is one of the like sweetest strains that I think we've had
in a while. Yeah, what was that case?
It wasn't modified grapes. It was another one that was just
smelled like dried. Oh, it was, was it?
No, it was modified grapes. It was something.
That modified grapes did smell true, but.
Maybe it was modified grapes, because I mean, it was it was

(01:15):
probably by far one of the best smelly strains, but this one's a
very sweet strain and so I stopped alluding to it.
We are today smoking papaya cake.
But this is not a Utah. I mean, this is a oh, actually
this is Colorado grow. It has been so long since I have

(01:36):
used California, but. I mean, it is.
Colorado, but. Yeah, it's usually northwest and
then around here, but you know. I don't know if I've really gone
to Colorado for but since beforethe show started.
August dude, it's been the last time I went to Colorado was with
you to dinosaur. That was a long time I.
Think that was before the show it?
Was before the show. Yeah.

(01:57):
Yeah, we drove up in, I think that Han Solo Burger and Casey
Jones. And man, that's been a long
time. But before we get into today's
strain, I know that sometimes using cannabis to be scary
because jobs, spouses, partners, anything like that where they
go, hey, I don't like you using cannabis, I need to test you.

(02:18):
Or that we've got this really fantastic partner who kind of
helped solve that problem. So this is Synthetics 5, one of
the top or maybe the top synthetic P?
That's how many people can say that.
Like what do you do? I make fake pee.
Yep, and while it's only labeledfor like kink stuff online, it's

(02:40):
really for your drug test. So if you're worried concerned,
like oh shit hey I don't know how I'm going to pass this drug
test. Go down to low.
Go check out Synthetics 5. Use code.
Cannabis. Oh, you know what?
Let me let me find that, but. Cannabis School 25 you save 25%
off of their products, so if you're worried about it or you

(03:03):
get tested regularly, go down below.
Get yourself some synthetic peak.
Don't celebrate any golden showers, but maybe help keep
your job. So OK, so the code right, Sorry.
There we go. Jeez.
So while we're waiting for that.OK, right here.
Oh, we found it. So it's Cannabis School 25.
Go down there, put that code. Now here's something really

(03:26):
cool. I want to show you guys
something. Now, Brandon's got one that's
really cool because there's a little heat pack in the back,
and you crack it open, you put it in there, and then you could
slip it into your pocket. You go in for your piss test,
unscrew the cap, and there you go, right.
But sometimes this piss test maybe a little bit more
clandestine. Right.

(03:46):
Yeah, sometimes they actually stand in in when?
They're in the room and stuff. Look, bath.
You mean if you're in the military, they're directly
staring at your genitals? But.
They get paid extra for. That yeah, so it's super cool,
but it's really cool is they have this one pack over cured
and it comes in a full kit and. I'm wearing it.

(04:06):
I'm going to show you. So you get, there we go.
So. You get this cool pack and it
has like this little temperaturegauge on there and then they
give you a. Weenie strap in your fake
plastic penis, Yeah. So check this out so that you
plug this into the bag and then you just you slip this
underneath your pants. This is underneath your pants.
You wouldn't wear it over the top of the pants, but you slip

(04:28):
it underneath and then you just, you know, they're, they're the
Super close ones or you just gotto wear it all day.
These packs these packs are goodafter they've heated up for 8
hours. So you've got 8 hours to do it,
but it doesn't go bad after that.
All you have to do is if the peas up to that point then you
just put it away because you didn't use it but.
That's crazy. You just need another keep word.

(04:50):
Now what I would recommend on this is don't put this in.
Till you're writing. Then tell you're ready.
So it's cool though, because that little pouch, you're not
going to get pee all over you even if you're sitting.
Look at that. And it's got a twisty lid that
keeps so sealed. I pop that in, keeps it sealed.
Doesn't look like you pissed yourself Good.
So, I mean, and we all know about Jesse's story about piss

(05:10):
tested your nose, Yeah. So and if you don't, go binge
watch every episode until you find where's that?
Absolutely so go down in the comments below tell your friends
that you know your your buddy who's like, oh, I can't partake.
I got a job, I got a drug test. Well, not anymore.
You don't have to worry about that shit because he got

(05:32):
synthetics 5. Yeah right.
Yeah, and with that, we're goingto chant some papaya.
Cake. Yeah, if you don't make.
Friends of this made with Papaya.
So this is an. Indolini and White.
OG white out in that sense, but because I.
Haven't had white OG in so long. It's been a long.
Time real thing that was one of the first Colorado strains I

(05:53):
think actually so once you've got that all packed up I see I'm
going to give you this bowl and I'm going to let you take grades
because. Thanks Sir.
This is actually a first for me as well.
I have had this strand for a fewdays and I actually haven't
sparked. Oh yeah.
So I'm going to give Jesse that first.
You got to. To see what it tastes like.

(06:13):
Man, peppery, nice sweet smell, OK.
Do you get some of those like fruity notes to it?
Supposed to have mango or apricot kind of toes.
I don't think I can get it through Jetson.
Probably a vaporizer. A vaporizer probably get best
flavors of Is that a low enough temp like 3, three, 73274?

(06:35):
It's nice. It's really smooth and you can
tell from the grows and where you're getting it from how the
good quality. But this is really good quality.
Is it Colorado? Yeah, that's Colorado there.
It's indoor. I'm pretty Oh, it's an indoor
well, there you go. Having myself a sports, I just
wanted to able to enjoy this or Aporte, but this is a fantastic.

(06:57):
It's not a really robust strain, like it doesn't hit you super
hard with the flavors, but it's a very.
Nice beautiful stuff. It is so sweet and the nugs are
beautiful, like they're quite dusty.
The top terpener for the strain supposed to limit.
You know, limiting is such a common strain with those chill

(07:17):
strains. Oh terpene.
Damn mean terpene Terabus. So some of the top things that I
buy cakes actually be used for is anxiety, the suppression, and
some yeah of Colorado flower, usually a little dryer I feel
like. OK, OK.
So the onset is really nice. It's not overpowering.

(07:40):
It's a very subtle, but I can feel like this is going to be a
creeper. This is an indica leaning hybrid
and it's more on the calm side. Yeah, at least that's what's.
Reports must be relaxed around just didn't sleepy.
That's why Brandon said we'll be1/2.
Man's or a mess? You know we'd never know.
I hope not. That's why I wore my tight
underwear. Yeah, well, that's why it
worked. Dung tape.

(08:01):
There you go. What's it down?
Nice. You haven't tried it out.
He's got that hundred mile an hour tape, you know, comes off
the force, but when you. You imagine.
Oh shit, did you just? Spill everything.
I don't know what happened. That's not what the Oh no.
The grinder fell off of the top of that into my cup.

(08:26):
So all the flour that's in thereis now soaking wet and grace and
that's what the fuck is this? No, no, no, keep this going.
This grinder, the Santa Cruz shredder fell in my cup and this
bud is dry. It did not get soaked at all.

(08:47):
New. Just unlocked waterproof
waterproof Santa cruise runner you.
Ever be out there fishing and grinding?
Don't worry about it my friend. Fishing and grinding me.
But, well, I can't. It's nice.
I like it. Now it is a creeper.
I I knew it. I knew it because it's slowly
coming on to the front of my head.

(09:09):
Ties real fast. I just got a good amount of
water in there. Oh I know dude.
I'm just gonna go like this realquick.
No, you're fine. You're fine because I was like
I. Was like, I hadn't no idea.
I was really confused. Just you got to say, Eric, is
that empty? Oh, let's spell robot step bit
Cutter, and then I'm going to empty my cup because it's got

(09:32):
flour in it now and some new water.
All right, later on in the in the bowl get floral notes, but
they're not like dried rose petal smell like old Graham.
I can taste it. That's right.
That weird. I didn't think about that.
It does have floral things. That's when you know you've
gotten to full can snub. But you could smell the hints.
You know, it's weird I can't. Clear.

(09:53):
I do notice for being a pretty indica dominant strains
supposedly. I said incredibly straight to my
head. Oh yeah, right away.
But it's a slow set for me. It has been slow.
And subtle, like it's not all. Could I have myself a juice box?
You know he's got. Could you imagine if somebody

(10:13):
did that go? As the great prophet Ruth says.
There are probably people out there going what I can drink it
now. It's in a pack, like a juice
box. That's an expensive juice.
Box. Oh my God.
OK wait, we're going to ask you a really weird question.
Does anyone know someone who's got a Peking?
I had met a guy while working with or buddy Casey but really

(10:37):
gross poop kinks like here I want you to take shit on my
chest and. Cleveland Steamer.
Like I if that's what they call it, but I was just like, that's
pretty gross. I don't know how you find that
out of like Cleveland let's me go and.
I had a friend, which you know, I know I've shared stuff on
here, but this stuff I definitely won't share in here.
Maybe we'll do it like on a private street.

(10:59):
But I had a friend and he experienced something like that.
He met somebody with a poop kinkand he said it was really hard
to say no to because she was so incredibly hot.
God, like, I don't know, in my old age I would definitely say
that I'd be like, good, I'm good.
I can't been a ways to spend my time mounting.
To shit on someone or having someone go to me going oh you

(11:21):
shit on me like never. Got shit on your fingers from
your clothes or picking them? Dog shit or maybe in the paper?
God. The you changing diapers or
checking the diaper you like? Check the diaper.
Are they good? That shit on the finger, that's
at first, but then after you've had so many kids and so many
diapers, you're just like, oh. Well, not all of us have a
basketball team, so I only, I stopped at two.

(11:44):
It was like, no. No, I'm happy I had all 5, but
here I ain't. Just remind me.
I was talking to my sons last night.
You brought a poop. Now this is going to be funny.
OK, So when I used to work at the state hospital, every once
in a while we do like, I'd pick up an extra shift on Gray dirt,
so I'd work swings. So I'd work from 3:00 till 6:00
next morning. And.

(12:06):
We did like this potluck and I made bowling and those don't
know what Molly is, right? Say it's a chocolate, a spicy
sauce that you can have on any type of Mexican, right?
And there's a lots of different molays from all over the world
and I mean all around South America and stuff.
But anyways, this is chocolate. And so I put it in a crock pot

(12:26):
and cooked some chicken in thereand then we just pulled it out
and put it on like tacos and stuff like that.
Had shredded it. Well at the end of the night we
don't real. I was like I can go wash this
out over there but I wanted to play a prank on the morning
shit. So I took a towel as we have
patients and I went like white stones.

(12:46):
Just. One big white like you.
Yeah. And then I gently laid it on top
of the hamper, this full hamper. And I just waited.
And this woman came in and. And I was telling my sons, I was
like, now I'm not making fun of her, but I gave everybody
nicknames. It helped me to remember their
names. And so this war that she'd been

(13:08):
in an ATB accident and her back had wrapped around.
Sorry, nothing broke things severed but pulled a nerve from
her spine all the way up into her face that just was on the
skid and pulled it back like Beetlejuice.
What the? Fuck so.

(13:29):
Her was lazy and the skin was all kind of fucking weird,
right, and so I love her like every like that lazy eyed Lisa
and so lazy eyed Lisa. She came in what she came in.
She was the first one to come inand she see she's walking around
the corner. It's just talking to somebody
and she just stomps like that. If you've ever seen Rendo,

(13:51):
should we be right, go right. Remember the gurgle with like
freezes the the the girl lizard.Lazy eye.
Yeah, yeah. She just, that's what she did.
She just stopped and I come out and I got my gloves on.
I'm like, yeah, sorry, I got to get the laundry out.
Oh my gosh. Oh shit, that's disgusting.
And she's like, and then I go over here and I go to grab on

(14:13):
the side of it and I get out my thumb.
I'm like, no, what am I doing? She just go, you just start.
Yeah, it just. She runs.
It was so funny that just. Makes me think of like working
in my current assistant living centers and supposed to be the
grossest, right? It's just but that's it's part
of like you think about it, it'slike part of being a kid and we

(14:34):
will get back. This is a weird strain guys.
This strain makes your mind go Well, what's?
Cool about it is just kind of it's it's very it's chill, but
it's slightly fun like my head feels like heavy cloudy yeah it
but it it feels like a. Weighted cloudy, not negative

(14:55):
cloudy, just like Bobby. Like here's a way.
To think of it, you know, a metal ball, put it in a bowl and
then just do this to keep the the kinetic energy.
I keep it spinning. Yeah, but I feel it like around
here, like pressure of somethinggoing around, but it's not fast.
It's just, it just, I don't know, it's fucking weird.

(15:19):
Strange. Right, this is.
Really strange. I like it because this is
definitely like, I was just thinking the week's been hard.
Yeah, Jesse just started his first.
Like his job. Oh, I.
Love my job because I'm there. It's fantastic.
It's my second week. That's just changes.
Yeah. But no, I, I love that.
I mean, I get up early now, like, really early.
And I dress like an adult. Oh yeah.

(15:41):
Like slacks and slacks. Isn't this casual nice polos and
stuff like that. I did a button up one day and
I'm like Nope not do this because they're not fitted and
I've lost so much weight. Dude.
I'm like 173 lbs though and to some people like that's not bad.
Dude I'm at a 30 inch waist. Holy.
What I am at 30 that's. Us for you.

(16:03):
Yeah, I haven't and. Have you ever been there?
Yeah, when I was in the Navy, when I was a kid, OK.
Yeah, when you're just like crazy fed.
Yeah, I could fit probably back into my old uniform too, because
that I was, I was about the samesize when I was a kid, you know.
It's been nuts. Pretty good size.
Kid I. Have noticed, Mike, I was
actually extendable, yeah. Yeah, you've been more.

(16:24):
You've been really dedicated to that one.
It's awesome. It's been.
Super funeral because I bought like workout shorts and like
first week that I bought them I put them on like really so
skinny and then like 2 weeks later I put them on.
I was like, there's this like underwear layer inside it and
the underwear layer of the firstweek was the loops and two weeks

(16:46):
it was tied on my legs and I waslike, holy shit.
Like it's not a lot, but it's subtle note like changes and I'm
like and I. Don't know why I.
Wasn't doing this so long? Well, no matter.
Well, but it's everybody has that you know, you'll set hard
to you wait it just keeping up the consistency.
That's the most difficult point. But I mean, other than that, I

(17:07):
mean, it's like, you know, for me, I go three to four times a
week. That's it.
I go for anywhere from like an hour to an hour and a half.
But the rest is the most important thing that I've
realized is that you just need arest.
And Speaking of rest, this strain, it would be great for
those who are really anxious. If you're anxious and you need

(17:28):
to calm down right away and justnot feel like the best
uncomfortable your own skin, youknow that feeling like you feel
like you can't escape and it's it's the have you ever had that
feeling? I don't.
Know I'm not I'll. Describe it.
So imagine you're going down a really steep Rd. longboarding

(17:48):
and somebody pulls out in front of you instantly.
That feeling that goes over yourwhole body, that anxious type.
Oh. Yeah, OK.
That. Feels like you're trapped.
Yeah, that would get rid of thatfeel because, and for me, I'm a
fidgeter, so am I. Apparently, I mean, I've been
Kristen was like. You'll see me over here, my legs
like freaking out. Yeah.

(18:09):
And it's still. Moving, but it's not the same.
Not the. Same.
No, not even not even close to this, even though it's an
indica. Now this is going to be crazy,
but this would be a great daytime strain.
And the reason why? Because it's good for focus.
This feels like a wicked blank head.
To you. Not as in like my body feels

(18:31):
heavy, but as in like for those who are anxious or that where
just as supposed to be like hey, chill, OK, like that's the kind
of feeling that it is of like, hey, my my arms feel pretty
chill. My legs feel chill.
They don't feel heavy body. Feels good.
They don't. Feel overly sedated, but like I
feel good. I feel relaxed.
I just feel, wow, no. Like the the cool thing is, I

(18:54):
mean even from the terpenes and I'm pretty sure this is
relevant, but I can breathe really.
I've been kind of stuffy this where there's a weather change
going on in Utah so that usuallykicks up allergies and I get
weird allergies every like 10 years.
Like once in a while it'll last for like 2 weeks and then I
won't see it for like years. But damn it just really opened

(19:15):
me up And light wise too like this spiny.
And this. Is yeah, it's still lemoning is
the calming like it's super. You don't feel any pressure in
your back, your chest, nowhere. It's just cold but focus because
I've noticed this man. I'll go to work, I'll wake and
bake with a sativa but I feel like I can't pay attention.

(19:35):
It's 2 friends. Oh, because you're mixing it
with your coffee or your caffeine, and it's a lot.
Yeah, I I started drinking the tea, just just black tea in the
morning and that's OK for me. I sip on it like a cup of tea,
like a 10 oz cup of tea will last me till like what I plan.
So I'm just just sipping. It's cold and I'm, I'm just

(19:56):
having it And I, I like the flavor and, and the little bit
of bumps of to mute my adenosinein my brain, right.
But the, the, the thing that hasa bigger difficulty because I,
my mind's going so quickly, likeit's action oriented.
This is what I've realized with some sativas as they're action
oriented. So if you don't have action

(20:18):
going on, video games, sports. Anything how definitely I was.
Playing work. To do something productive in
any form or manner, well. Productive movement.
Yeah, movement, productivity. Yeah, yeah, yeah.
I know you work. No, no, no, I mean versus that's
not, you know, the real working in my job, sitting with the

(20:40):
client, that's the work. Everything else is just details.
But the I'm thinking about this tray right now and I'm like, you
know what be great is having just a touch of it.
Now this could go I'm going to do more just to see how I feel,
But this can go for a long time.I am actually a very big fan of
this string all day. I could do this because of the

(21:03):
part where right now I feel likeI can really focus and I can
kind of give me it myself blinders, But that doesn't go.
I mean, there's there's indicas like I'll take, even though they
I'm like, you can just chill. They'll put some ass to sleep in
the morning. So you you know that it's, it

(21:24):
really depends upon your endocannabinoid system.
But anyways, like go into what you're feeling.
I'm I'm a little too chatty and that's that's all it's.
A very chatty strain though, andnot.
Very dry mouth. Supposedly dry mouth, dry eyes,
and anxiousness are like the most reported effects, but my.
Eyes don't feel dry. Show me it there.

(21:45):
Your eyes are white, but. They feel pretty white I feel
like usually. I feel like I can usually tell
when it's in my eyes they feel different.
They definitely feel drier when I notice it, but I feel like dry
eyes at all is a side effect of this stray now.
I think dry eyes for me, it's going to be like a a
concentrate. We'll get my eyes flowers.

(22:06):
Some flowers, but the ones that get me here, Edibles.
Yeah. Edibles really is where I
noticed the cotton mouth a lot usually, and that's how I tell
they're kicked in. And often as I'm like, oh man,
let's try God damn it, the edibles here.
Yeah. So I feel like this is the most
hell pill of pressure. I feel it in my head, but it's
not enough. Pressure, like I said, dude,

(22:27):
it's like this soft ball and they're just spinning super
fast. It's just keeping pressure, but
it's not uncomfortable. Not you don't like headband
reverse. Headband, yeah.
I don't yeah, reverse headband because I I'm not a big fan of
headband. I get headaches on headband.
Oh. In dosing or just in dosing?
OK. Yeah, headband can on high doses

(22:48):
I feel like. But I've only had headband and
dirty dissed so I've never had headband like in a well.
Nope, I take that back. I have had headband a little.
Variant. It was like blueberry headband
or something. Yeah, I haven't had OG headband
and flower and it is, but this would be a.
Great strain for time studying. I'm studying because you're.

(23:08):
Relaxed. Your body's like chill, so any
stress or tension, you'll just be like relax, but enough focus
that you can be really into whatever it is that you're
studying, lurking, doing. Fucking lot.
This. This is great.
This is so good. Maybe in high doses it's sleepy.

(23:29):
Well, I. Just took a lot more, so I'm
going to see, but I'll tell you right now, I I felt it hit me,
but it just increased the outer pressure of your.
Head. Yeah, that's.
It yeah, but not not uncomfortable.
Yeah, no, no, it's just and it'sI wouldn't say you would get any
pain relief out of this, but youdon't care.
It it really is like I'm excited.

(23:51):
I mean, one, I'm going to be spoke at this this weekend.
I'm I'm studying for my exam to give me a license and I'm super
pumped about it. I I mean, I really am did it.
I'm so glad that I am at this time of my life.
I love learning. I love learning.
I love learning new things. Not say like, oh, fucking no,
no, don't. Do you know, would you kind of

(24:12):
feel like that sometimes when somebody like says something
you're like, Oh yeah, what are you talking about?
Maritime law. Yeah, I know all about maritime
law, like brand. It does.
The problem is. Is you get older and more
curiosities pop into your head, you do learn more because it's
just like, oh, you know, in fact, what about this rabbit
hole? And then you go down and you're
like randomly, like, I'm a larksmith.

(24:33):
Yeah, I know how to pick someone's locks, do all that
shit. I haven't done that as a job in
15 years, dude. I'm a.
Rock Mason I'm a I'm a small electronic repair.
I I'm you know, I can I'll I'll figure out almost anything
because I just enjoy it. And you know what I've learned
too, is that when I show I I talk about it openly around my

(24:56):
kids about how excited I'm all about learning things and my
kids will go well, yeah, but my stuff boring.
And I'm like, no, no, that's thebasics.
When you get that down, you can start understanding this shit
and that's fucking cool. And they're like, oh, which
literally my conversations exactly like that with my kids
and I just don't I and and that's what's cool.

(25:16):
Dude, I was telling you that onetime like we're at home and I
hear my my wife over there thought, what the fuck is this?
And then my son dip goes oh shit.
And that. And I was just like, I love that
these are normal conversations at my home because growing up it
was like, no, you don't say that.
Like, Oh yeah, the. Only time that swearing was

(25:36):
allowed in my house was when my dad was breathing pips and only
then would he sweat. And it was, oh, shit, you better
not be heard. You better not be seen.
You like, don't even fucking exist.
Just don't breathe. Just quietly, like do not
disturb because he's not. You don't want to miss.

(25:59):
And so swearing was always like this extreme anger, like extreme
thing. And I'm like, yeah, I don't want
my kids to grow up that way. I don't want my kids to go, Oh,
Dad said shit. He's pissed.
No, I want you to go. Oh, Dad said shit.
OK, shit. Or it's just a word.
Yeah, because. And that's the thing I realized
it going to family get togethersand stuff.

(26:20):
And, and we had these discussions because it was like,
oh, well, you say this and I'm like, you know, I do.
And sometimes people choose to get offended by that just the
same way as I could choose to get offended that you say freak
or gosh or darn or heck or shootin all the exact same places.

(26:40):
Because to me, that's more offensive than using the proper
chair. And I could choose to be
offended by that because just like you're choosing to be
offended that you've heard that noise, well, I'm going to choose
to be offended that you're usinga different noise in the same
tone, inflection, sense of structure, everything else.
So the only difference is the offense that you're choosing to
place on a specific port. That's it.

(27:01):
That's so funny because I was, Iwas talking to the people I'm
working with now and they were talking about we've got to get
in the right tone without. And I said, what do you mean by
that? And he's like, well, you know,
we like the right tone. Then like Kate, define what that
means? And he goes, what is your right
tone? He's like, I don't.
And I'm like, OK, And I said, well, you know, the, the, the

(27:23):
thing that I started, the tool that I started to create and
implement, it's called cognitivetone dynamics.
And there's based off of 4 tones.
And I, I was explaining that andI'm like, it's like talking to a
dog. Like if you talk to a dog and
I'm very author, they go, Oh shit.
And you could be doing you are such a good dog.
I fucking love you. And they're like, Oh God.

(27:45):
But you, you change your, you goin an upward inflection.
Well. It's the difference I can call
Penny if she's sniffing something, having a curiosity,
running after something in a different tone, like upward
inflection, and she just will continue running.
She won't she'll like, oh, she'll kind of hesitate me like,
oh, but if I do it in my 40, shestops.

(28:08):
Yep, instantly She turns around and she comes back.
She's like 05. No, I'm not asked to get this
because again, it's it's tough. There's so much to it that
you're like, Oh, you true navigate that, but it's the make
sure you're doing the tone right.
OK, well, what do you like you said?
What do you mean by that? Yeah.
What do you what do you mean with the proper type?

(28:28):
You know what I mean? And they understand, but it's
that's why I did, because I'm a person that needs contacts.
Because if not, my imagination goes what?
And then all of a sudden I create something else and
they're like no no, no, that wasn't anything what I'm saying
but. They're like, what are you
smoking? I've what's your habits?
I'm. Smoking papaya cake.

(28:49):
You hopefully you are too. Yeah, dude.
This is great. This is such a good strict.
Oh my gosh, it's Taylor. But I have to say top, top five
of all time strings, man, this is wow.
It's like, what was I talking about?
What was it? I was just trying.
To think of like I'm. Sure, I'm sure I've we've got
some odd like Disney fucking dogstink.

(29:11):
What's fine? I know.
Oh yeah, Tones so that that whatI was explaining it like this.
This is how I classify them. There's inquisitive to upward
inflection. If you do it too much, you sound
like a valley girl. So you have to be very.
You have to do that, but you can.
Because there's position for it.Well, positive if you're
inquisitive constantly. Yeah, doesn't make sense.
Well, and here's. A.

(29:32):
Here's a a fault. You'll find it in Chris Fossa's
system because it's always an upward inflection.
Almost every single time. When you repeat back Bong and it
goes sometimes there's your questioning.
Yeah, it's a question you're trying to get clarification, but
with using an inquisitive tone, you have to understand the
context too. So I built all these like

(29:53):
examples so. You mean mirroring this
question? Yeah, but I don't call it
mirroring anymore. I call it afterward because
like. But if the reason why is because
you don't want to mirror the word, you want to echo the
sentiment, well, you. Could even in that if it truly
is, Yeah, but with the. Question.
Or specific. It really depends on the moment
what does. 100% every moment play.

(30:14):
With it, it depends on what it is you're.
There's moments where you need to just shut up and listen.
So that repeating of just that one word might be perfect.
Well. Here's this.
This is the perfect example. Somebody, somebody tried to tell
me. They go, no, dude, words are the
most important thing that you'resaying.
I'm like, no, I get that words are important, but the tone that
you use will change the mean. Here, I'll do one sentence.

(30:37):
Let's go, let's go, let's go, most.
Of communicate, let's do is not probable.
So we said. Even over the phone, things like
that, it's not always the word you say because as we know, what
you say is like always what someof them.
Shares so it's. It's not the word you say, It's
your tone. It's your buying things.
They should flex. It is the words, but it's like,

(30:58):
well. And that's so there's you bring
up body language, right, right. But I mean, you know, that's
something I argue is that body language isn't as important as
it was before because now we have a fourth one in there.
And that is tone, because we. Always had tone no?
But we. We didn't have to.
Rely upon it as much as now in the digital age because

(31:19):
everything is done to video and all that other things taxed.
And you can't have ton of them. Yeah, you can.
You can, depending on how you structure your sentences.
Well, but you but I have an intended tone, but that doesn't
mean that your tone of how you fixed is the my scene, no.
No, and this is this is how I doit.
This because I I've been I was practicing because I was like, I

(31:40):
want to know if I can apply thisto anything not as like look at
me, but I'm like this solved thebig problem that I had in sales.
A really big problem had in sales.
I was. Mimicking so I was.
Reflecting back to them exactly that and almost the same words
and all that stuff and it it would work on those who are a
little soft minded. Everyone else just looks.
At it and goes. Why are you copying exactly?

(32:03):
Yeah. And then it seems like you're.
Yeah, you're not genuine. No.
And so when going, this is this faker who's trying.
To be like me. Why are they?
Why are they doing this? Well, that's why I started
doing. This I'll, if I write out a
text, I will say it out loud andalmost like, like those the
women I was teaching over at rising Hell, this is what I
taught them. And I, and I was like, you can

(32:25):
while you're talking, it's almost looking like you're like
a conductor, but you're doing four of them.
I'm going up. I'm inquisitive, I'm confident,
reflective and then direct. And if you say direct things,
it's like bulleted things. I need you to do this, this and
this if and I, and you can see this look like my wife would say

(32:48):
something to my kids going, hey guys, I really need you to help
me out. They ignored her kids.
I need you to get this done. We're going to get it done.
It's the sound. It's the same with the dog.
We're all built that way. We, we, I mean, you notice that
like there's like Morgan Freeman, I could listen to him
all the time because his tone issoothing to me, but to other

(33:11):
people would be like, so they gotta shut the fuck up.
Like people with really high pitched voices, other people
totally annoyed by it. So we just, it's like our
endocannabinoid system. It just responds differently.
It does Yeah to everything. And so wow dude, I am so sorry.
This strain is extremely good thought.
Yeah, it's a wild. Strain if you haven't, you

(33:33):
should go find papaya cake and check it out and honestly, this
waterproof Santa Cruz shredder yeah dude.
We will have a code drop below in the show notes because I
mean, honestly, I've been reallyinterested, but this I've loved
that I've had Keith again because I haven't had Keith and
so I I. Want to say man, I I have loved

(33:55):
stashed. I love stashed drivers.
They're fantastic. I like dealing with certain
types of straight what's up? Like he's still.
Dry too. That's so cool.
And everybody's. Probably like, dude, my shredder
could do that. My, my, my, my, my grinder could
do that too. And then I hope somebody didn't
just like drop it in their trickgo oh fuck, did anything really
throw it? I'm like, yeah, so funny was we

(34:16):
didn't even. Know we have coaches for those
guys too, don't we? Yeah.
And we'll be in the show now. Yeah, you'll get that figure
said if you're Shredder. Guys, thank you so much.
Fake P for your friend. Tell your friends.
Like, dude, nobody should be like you going, you know, all of
Idaho, Like, yeah, yeah. Serious.
Sign up with this. I have a friend.
She was like, oh, I'm gonna go into nursing school.
So she's been saying that, yeah,I'm like, take one of these.

(34:39):
Casey's girlfriend Casey's girlfriend has worked.
For a company for a year for 10 years and they don't allow
cannabis. So she's been very iffy on her
consumption of like Oh well. I all the smoke could be once
and so I gave him one of those and I was like, here give this
to her because if she ever needsto test, she can use Yeah, do be

(34:59):
confident. Then she can smoke or.
Consume. No reason to lose your job.
Over that, yeah. You know, when somebody looks at
the price of these ones, becauseI think it goes up to like 100
bucks or something like that, but you get 25% off.
I know it sounds like another commercial, but I really want.
This is the thing that I I hate about that, you know, don't
quantify what you're paying for this.
You think about your year salary.

(35:21):
Yeah. What's this worth?
This is worth 65,000. This is worth 120,000.
Yeah. This is worth several 100,000
exactly. And it it makes a big
difference. And that Peace of Mind.
Not even having to worry about it because I thought about it
like, oh man, how many times wasit like, oh shit, I'm going to
give it a new job. What if they test me?
What if I have to like stop consuming?

(35:42):
What if? What if I have to try and like
what do I do here? Now you don't not worry about
it. So go check out Synthetics 5.
Go check out said Free Shredder and fucking TuneIn next week.
