In this episode, we’re diving nose-first into Permanent Marker, a strain that doesn’t just leave an impression—it tattoos itself onto your memory. With a wild mashup of flavor, aroma, and full-body effects, this strain is one of those rare gems that’s as loud in the jar as it is in the sesh.

What You’ll Learn:

  • Where Permanent Marker comes from and how it got its name

  • What makes this strain a sensory overload (in the best way possible)

  • How it feels in the body vs. the mind — and when to use it

  • Our personal experiences using it (spoiler: Brandon got philosophical and Jesse… got hungry)

  • Whether this strain is for seasoned stoners, creative minds, or just someone trying to vibe out after a long day

Permanent Marker is a heavy-hitter born from Biscotti x Jealousy x Sherb Bx, bred by the legends over at Doja Exclusive, Seed Junky Genetics, and others. That’s a wild lineup—and you feel every parent in the mix.

This strain smells like walking into a headshop with a fresh bag of gas and floral incense in your pocket. Funky. Sweet. Gassy. A little soapy on the backend. One of the loudest noses we’ve reviewed lately.

Flavor-wise, think:

  • Sweet and creamy

  • Pungent gas

  • Sour berry with a floral twist

Permanent Marker hits fast and sticks around. Expect:

  • An uplifted, euphoric onset that keeps your head buzzy and social

  • Followed by a melty, relaxing body high that doesn’t knock you out cold—but does ease you into chill mode

  • Creative focus in the early stages, making it a good pick for lowkey art nights, playlists, or conversations that get a little too deep

Perfect for:

  • Evening hangs

  • Creative sessions

  • Melting into the couch (but like, in a fun way)

Most batches of Permanent Marker float around 25–30% THC, so this isn’t your beginner strain. Terpenes? You’ll likely find high amounts of:

  • Limonene – mood lift & citrus pop

  • Caryophyllene – spicy body buzz

  • Linalool – that chill floral calm

If you’re looking for a strain that hits with flavor, body, and vibes—Permanent Marker might be your new favorite ink. It’s not subtle. It’s not polite. But it is damn good.

(00:03):
Welcome to Cannabis School. I'm your host, Jesse Angeles.
And I'm Brandon Elder. And we're here to talk to you
about everything pertaining to cannabis from vape, flower,
edibles, strains, and everythingin between.
Hey kids, so. This this is pretty exciting.

(00:31):
This is a Leafly 2023 pick and it was only introduced back in
2022. Well, I took too big of a hip.
Made him cough. Well, the cool thing about this
one is that you will think that you can draw mustaches on your
friends when they get too drunk or draw a Dick on their face.

(00:54):
Yeah, just when they're sober. But this is awesome because it
feels amazing. It's super cool.
And this strain is called permanent marker.
It's not a sharpie, thank God. It's not white marker like the
washboard markers. It doesn't smell like those
markers you used to sniff in elementary school.

(01:14):
That's what Brandon used to do. I didn't sniff that.
What you didn't have the flavored markers you never had
This one was. So sharp like the Cherry 1 was
sharper than like Robitussin. I never had them but like either
a kid or a teacher would have them.
I know you weren't allowed to have happiness as a child.
No, it costed more. So it was like, no, you don't

(01:34):
need a happiness that cost $0.69so.
Did I could only imagine like somebody, and I'm not saying
like your upbringing, but I can imagine somebody being that
frugal about even like condoms and stuff going, what do you got
over there? We've got these real great
Trojans. What about those Tom Thumb
rubbers? Those regular ones just keep
falling off. I used to use a twist tie

(01:54):
keeping on. You have to zip tie on your
condom. Got it over at the dollar store.
Oh, so this is a hybrid indica leaning?
Oh. There are some, I mean, you
know, looking at this, I mean what it's a 25% THC typically
there is a range. At least in flour this one is.

(02:17):
I believe it was 89% THC in the live resin diamonds and
saucepan. Yeah, but I really like this.
I mean this is a combination of three different strings
Biscotti, sherb, BX. And.
Jealousy. Sure B sure B.
And jealousy. Wow.
Yeah, biscotti we loved. Oh, it's a great strain, but I
can tell like already. We got a nug of jealousy I

(02:40):
thought. I swear we did jealousy.
We did that was was jealousy. Honestly, that was a top one.
It was 2022 Leafly pick of the year.
Holy shit. Yeah.
I was like, I swear we've done that one before.
Jealousy. That's fantastic.
And we're, we're using a, this is a live resin pen.

(03:00):
Diamonds and sauce. Diamonds and sauce so.
It's nice that says oh wow. OK.
So what's really good about thisis that I'm already feeling it.
So we've tried other Gray marketcarts too, because we know that
you guys are into that as well. One of them we tried, I'm not

(03:21):
going to say the name of it, butit just hasn't been the same and
the consistency is off. And I know that a lot of you
will smoke disties because you're your favorite or you're
new to it and that's been consistent.
Yeah, it's super cheap and it is, it's really caught.
I mean it can be cost effective. It can be, but the experience is

(03:41):
always fleeting, makes me wanting more and is always
making me chase the one that is flower or really good
concentrate going. Man, I wish this was that.
You know, you said it perfectly right there.
The chase I feel like I'm chasing whenever I'm on a disti,
I've got to keep puffing. I've got to keep puffing because

(04:04):
that's going to keep me on 11 even keel right now.
So many people are stressed, right?
You don't want to pay attention to social 'cause that's stress.
Everybody's arguing. You don't want to pay attention
to the news 'cause everything's falling apart.
You don't want to talk to your friend because they play Xbox
and you play PlayStation. Or even family members, like

(04:25):
there's a lot of discourse between like conversations of
just difference in beliefs and political stance.
Oh my gosh, you know it makes even family get togetherings
like more tainted or more. Yeah, it and The thing is, is
like, and and here's where I mean, all right, I'm going to go
against my own moral judgement here.

(04:46):
And no, it has nothing to do with selling my body to the
night, Brandon. What it is, is.
You want it to. I don't.
Know for the right price, I mean20 bucks is 20 bucks right?
2999 for name it's time only getit now.
But yeah, fuck, where was I going?
Walgreens, that's where you can get it.
Yeah. Where were you going?

(05:08):
I don't know. I had something and then you
said that and it totally took meoff.
So here's a really good thing. No, no, don't be because.
No, everyone did. And no, I you know what, though,
I honestly guys, this is a really good point I'm making.
Your disties are just they're hot dog water and when you.
Water. When you upgrade to a a live
resin pen or a rosin, what you're going to experience is

(05:32):
such a more rich. And Dandemind bliss.
Yeah, well, but this is by far the closest experience that I
have felt to flower. In a pen in a while.
Yeah, it would go. This type of pen then
concentrates, then flour. No, do you remember that live
rosin pen that I got you and it was like 1/3 of a gram 'cause

(05:52):
they're all so tiny and it was just like amazing.
The flavor, the experience. It goes that, then these live
resin ones, then you're dirty, dizzy, like, you know.
Dude, our friend Miguel, long time ago, dude, he hooked me up
with a lemon sauce cart. It's a full gram.

(06:14):
That sounds delicious. It was, dude, it felt like you
remember now, I'm sure you guys remember.
I'm always like looking around and I'm thinking, where's the
camera? And it's like right fucking
there. All right, Anyways, so do you
guys remember when to fuck? I lost it again, OK.
Oh no. Well, while he's thinking about
that. This is not good for memory.
This one has like floral notes. It says supposedly A soapy,

(06:39):
which I sounds weird. Can't.
Yeah, gassy candy. I don't get those.
I do get kind of gassy notes. I get a little soapy.
In the after. Taste.
I get a little bit of gassy note.
I don't get the candy though. Maybe.
Maybe it's in a different like if we were to do it just in
concentrate in the Doctor Dapperswitch or in flour.

(07:00):
Yeah, in in well, and depending on what type of concentrate
we're getting, you know, there'slike when we had frosted flakes,
I mean so Piney and it was so strong.
I mean you it was it was fantastic.
I loved it. It I still have a lot of of it.
I'm, I, it's one of my favorites, but it's, it's nice

(07:25):
to experience even a distillate such as this, which is more
concentrated and it's a live, I mean, it's still in that family,
but this is by far been one of the best experiences I've had
probably in the last several months.
Yeah, I feel it right in my head.
Oh, that's all in my head. I can't remember things.
It's yeah, it's supposed to be avery strong strain.

(07:46):
So if you are new or even if you're not, maybe go low and
slow, feel it out. Yeah, take a hit, take a small
hit, take a couple hits depending on you and play from
there. And if I'm not mistaken, I mean,
this is a really good, I mean itdoes say that you can't get
anxious on it, but I actually would think the the exact
opposite. I'm not feeling it in the chest

(08:07):
at all. I'm feeling like the relaxation
and the brain numbing of indica but I'm still really awake.
Yeah, it's supposed to be a really good focused or like
creative, not focused, creative 1.
I don't know if it's great for focus not.
Focused. I'm all over the place.
I can't even remember what I wastrying to say.
Creativity and relaxation. Oh.

(08:28):
Yeah, Hell yeah. I I don't think I would want to
do anything on this strain. Like I don't even want to play a
video game or read something. Like I could watch something or
listen to something or have a conversation, but just have no
goal in mind. Just like, hey, this
conversation is going to go all over the place.
This would have been fantastic for vinyl.
This morning I was already rocking some Dante's Inferno.

(08:48):
Oh, that's such a good stream. It is I've been noticing so many
more delicious terpenes of thoselow notes, like the low temps.
Oh you're going in lower temps? What's your temp at?
I have no idea it's the in the dark blue, but it's the top one
of the dark blue on my. Doctor Gabber switch.
Yeah, yeah, yeah, that, that does.
And that makes a big, big difference on on dabbing.

(09:09):
It's your temperature. You really got to be mindful.
Like on a on a vaporizer, I feellike you can just fuck around
with it as much as you want and you're going to get a pretty
consistent yeah, but with dab like.
How it changes your experience so much?
Temp. Temp is everything.
That's what I liked about the Utilian because I could heat up
the bowl OK and then when it wasready it would fall into the

(09:33):
belt and it would do it like it would like almost melt it to
liquid so it pour into it, whichwas awesome.
As a very beautiful design as far as that goes.
But it's still like I I stopped using that because I'm just
like, fuck it, I just went on the bowl and just wait too
fucking longer. I got to go through two cycles
to get all of it takes. 20 but that makes sense.

(09:53):
I go. I've got to wait till like
halfway warm in order for me to start hitting.
Yours is amazing. It's like instantaneous.
It's like a light Saber. I love that.
I did see they had a Oh yeah, slimmer switch too.
Just came out for the Doctor Dabber, so I don't know anything
about that price anything. Maybe we'll find a link and put

(10:16):
it over there. You guys could check it out.
Tell us what you think. Who's going to buy it?
I don't know honestly. This one says it's a very tingly
strain. I don't feel that I don't.
Feel tingly. And now I feel it in my head.
I'm a little floaty in my thoughts.
That it is a euphoric strains about.
It and my brain feels a little sloshy.
I don't have the tracers, so that's nice.

(10:39):
I find that like Grape Ape, that'll give you tracers if you
have enough. Oh, unlike your edible stuff
when you have. Well, even the flower, like
we've done Grape Ape in the pastand it's been awesome.
We did it in a cart and it was great.
But it we used to give me tracers like I go room and then
the whole world would go. Room.

(11:00):
A friend of mine recently, she had asked me and I gave her an
edible and I dosed it out already and apparently she's
super sensitive to it because she's like, I don't know what
happened. I'm like, what do you mean?
Because I just couldn't leave mybrain.
I'm like, oh, you're having a full on like psychedelic
experience. Like was it good?
Was she OK? She just couldn't do anything

(11:23):
that. Can be good or bad, it just
depends on the person and the experience.
Well it's like when I green out I I my mind I'm freaking out but
in person I look like I'm super chill.
Well, it's like the time that mydad we had were working on his
pool and he was really hurting and he went and took one of my
grandma's edibles that I had made, but it took one of her

(11:45):
stronger dose ones which was 25 milligrams and for him who never
used cannabis. That's a lot.
It is. And he was decently high.
And he was telling me like, oh, I'm I'm freaking out.
And I'm like, well, you're just sitting there smiling, chilling
on the couch. He's like, I can't move my arms.
I'm like, yes, you can. You just are at the point that

(12:06):
everything you have to do has tobe conscious because you can't
unconsciously do it. So you have to actually think,
I'm going to move my arm, OK, I'm going to do this like you're
at that stage of high. But I said you're OK because
your body is hurting. So all you need to do is not
hurt right now and sleep. So if I already had food, all

(12:28):
your body needs to do. You don't need to be moving.
Just chill, lay down and take a nap.
Dude, you're bringing up a very good point that some people may
feel like they go and what the fuck?
I've got a pretty good tolerance.
Why? Why is this taking?
Why am I not feeling it now? I I will have I I take
tricipatide for my blood sugars. That has a side effect of

(12:51):
wrecking your guts. This As far as I'm going to go,
that's as TMI as I'm going to get.
When I was my wife had asked me she's I 'cause I was puffing on
a pan during the day, 'cause I just I didn't even want to get
out of bed. It was I I my lower abdomen is
still super sore from that. It just from the cramping.

(13:12):
Damn I got my period and the cramps are horrible girls.
Is that what you women feel like?
Jesus Christ. And I'm not trying to be a baby
about it, but I'm just like, wow.
Like if I cough or sneeze I haveto hold my stomach.
I saw this video of this woman or this dude.
They created a cramp machine. Oh yes, I've seen that.
They they're putting it on this,on this woman and this black

(13:33):
woman's like there's one standing there on the street.
Like turn it up. There they got it to like 4 and
it goes up to 10 and and at 4 she's like, is this on?
And then they put that same 4 ona dude and he's like and then
they get up to like 6 and 8 and the woman's like finally they
turn it all the way up to 10. The woman's like, Oh yeah, I

(13:54):
feel that a little bit. And like at 10, the guys.
Will you think about it, dude? Like every month they they're
getting an AB workout because it's contracting.
It's trying to move everything. Like the body's amazing.
Like if you're just thinking like I have to piss, this is
annoying. But if you think about the
process with like, you have a purification plant inside your
body. Yeah, like you, you are the was

(14:18):
it at the very end, the Back to the Future where he can put
trash in the top of it to fuel it.
That's what you are. You can put literally anything
into your body and your body turns it into whatever it needs.
Like for those sick folks that like eating shit, even they are
getting nutrients. So it's second.
Harvest. But our.

(14:42):
Go ahead and pick that corn out.Come on, look at it.
It looks right. All you gotta do is wash it up.
Put in the cans. The I tell you about this show,
the league, and they have this paintballing episode and the guy
Rafi is like, they get there at the field and I need like pops
up out of the ground all coveredin like camo and stuff.
And they're like, what are you doing?

(15:03):
He's like, I've been here for like, a couple days getting the
lay of the land. Like what?
And he's like, yeah, just been eating a second harvest and
they're like, what? And he's like, taken out of the
shit from Bears and stuff to like, and he's the one who,
like, yells Gattaca as he's running through the paintball
thing. Oh, dude.
Hilarious. Oh.
My. God show, if you guys haven't

(15:23):
seen the league it's at least worth watching.
I don't know, I enjoyed it. Yeah, give it a shot.
Oh, I, I, I like getting the commentary from Brandon 'cause
there's some shows like, you know, was it How I Met Your
Mother? That like you'll see, I see
shorts sometimes of that ones are clips and they're funny.
It's like 2 1/2 men, the show with CC Sheen.

(15:47):
You watch the clips and they're fucking hilarious.
They're just funny. I don't ever want to sit through
an entire episode, but I mind the clips 'cause then I got to
get all the filler and it's just.
Well, so I I've watched all of How I Met Your Mother ages ago.
And you tried to recently revisit it.
I did and I couldn't get throughlike one or two episodes.

(16:10):
I'm like, God, this is brutal. I know there's moments in it
that are funny and that I enjoy the moments, but overall it was
a show. I'm just like.
Well, you got to think about it dude.
It's, it's the same as any type of machine that takes in
information and the you're just gonna get a wealth of
information. So you, your your change of
humor and everything like that, like what you find funny now is

(16:33):
different for what a. 100%, yeah.
I mean, like, it's like Adam Sandler movies, you know, like
really old ones. Like we can say lines from Billy
Madison. I'm not gonna watch that entire
movie, There's no fucking way. But I'll watch Big Daddy 'cause
that's funny, right? I'll watch Tommy Boy like I
showed a clip to my son. Yeah, you could get a good look
at a butcher's ass, but you gotta stick your head all the

(16:54):
way. Up guarantee.
What would you take his word forit?
And they're like, what the fuck? But it's hilarious.
But those are the rare things, right?
Like I went back, like when you were talking about one, they
were relaunching Bad Boys, right?
Bad Boys, geriatric style. And they bring Martin Lawrence

(17:15):
out of retirement for this moviebecause he was doing animated
movies for a while. And my wife and I, when we watch
it at the theater, we, we had great memories of Bad Boys, 1:00
and 2:00. We we thought they were fun
action movies. Because the nostalgia in your
mind is like, oh, it was this amazing thing.
Yet never go back and revisit your childhood memories or your

(17:37):
early memories because Oh my gosh, dude, these fucking
movies, they were so fucking. We we got back from it and we
got out of there and I was like.Like I'm OK not seeing that one
again. Yeah, I'll never want to see
that ever again. Like, I mean, I almost wanted

(17:59):
to, like, write them going, dearmovie makers, you took two hours
and 30 minutes of my life. I would like that back because
it just wasn't good. It was really bad.
And then you realize how horrible of an actor Will Smith
really can be and how Martin Lawrence is not funny and how I
don't like watching men in their50s acting like they're in their

(18:22):
20s. And everybody, it's like, can't
we get somebody new? And I haven't seen that one.
Are they acting just like they're super hard still?
Yeah, and they're doing the moves and the slow motion and
the following. The, you know, it would have
been funny if they actually justmade him, like, actually
geriatrics and made it like a comedy.
Like, they were old as fuck. Yeah, dude.

(18:43):
Like their teeth fell out. Shit like that.
Like, Oh well, my glasses, yeah.Oh dude, like.
They've got shit. I would have watched that.
Mel Gibson, I wish I could do his voice, like he's got one of
the most distinct voices, but hesaid that they're getting lethal
weapons six or something like, Oh no, like they're.
Gonna they're? Gonna prop up Danny Glover in a

(19:06):
Dolly and strap him to him just to move him around on set 'cause
he's so old. It'll be weakened up Bernie's
style, you know, they'll just throw some glasses on him and.
Dude again, what What a great movie.
What a what a fucked up concept. We're gonna keep this decaying
dead guy, and they made two movies, right?
Like I didn't see the second one.
I saw either one. But the the first one is

(19:27):
hilarious. It's like Ferris Bueller's Day
Off for all these brands. Oh yeah, I've.
Only seen some. But they're they're fun.
This is a very happy strain. Yeah, this one's used, I guess,
for anxiety, depression and stress.
I'd see this being just perfect.I love it.
It's so nice. I could do OK.
So now it's settling in. So know that guys like you got

(19:48):
about 10-15 minutes and it settles in.
It is very relaxing. It can become couch lock if
you're already tired. This would not be the strain to
come home and chill on. This is the strain to come home,
fall asleep to waking up with your soda, your fountain soda
spilled all over your lap and your your hot dog from 711 in

(20:12):
your other hand halfway eaten. You're going to wake up at 7:00
AM with that. Like I could imagine this.
This is a lot like grape ape like.
I definitely like every one of my limbs I can feel it in.
Yeah, well, and great for pain. I've been on a steady regimen of
testosterone enhancement, yeah, for the last two months now, and

(20:36):
I've noticed a a huge change in energy and strength.
Your elbow and your knees, yeah, that hurts all the time,
normally. My left elbow last night.
Like way better. It was they felt like a vice was
on it. Oh shit, Like we played games
last night and I had to like tuck my arm into the side and
press them up and well, I just needed to keep pressure on it.

(20:59):
And then I finally took I took some ibuprofen.
That was now. But I'm like, all right, fine.
Like I I try to keep my indicas strictly for big pain or for I
need to chill the fuck out and that was awesome.
All I remember I took Grape babeinedible and then 30 minutes
later. I was fantastic.

(21:21):
That's why I love like, you know, those those are bootlegs.
The bootleg edibles. That's what I call it.
Yeah. No, no, no, no.
I love sugar highs. No, the other ones.
Oh yeah, yeah, are. Are.
Red and Blues. Yeah, red Blues agreed.
No red, greens and purples. There's.
There's I actually, because I know you just went.

(21:43):
Yeah. So the Reds are Reds are
sativas, the greens are hardcoreindicas and purples are hybrids.
And I've noticed based on how I feel.
But if you eat the green 1. So I gave I gave what to my
sister-in-law or boyfriend and I'm like, be careful.

(22:03):
This is 50 milligrams. I want you to quarter it and eat
the quarter. For those who are uninitiated.
If I give them one, I'm like, I cut it half and then I cut it
into 8 pieces and I'm like slowly introduce one every half
hour until you feel it and then you'll know where you're at.

(22:24):
And these are dosed at like 5 milligrams per slice around
that. But edibles are inconsistent.
So you're really taking a big chance.
But she ate half of it at 6:00 in the after at night, hanging
out with her boyfriend. They're playing video games.

(22:44):
Next thing you know, she takes another 1-2 hours later she woke
up late. Yeah.
And still felt high the next day.
And she's like. Yeah.
Oh my gosh. And I'm like, Yep, that's when I
wake up and I'm I need to sleep.I take that, I take a full 1 and

(23:04):
dude it takes 20 minutes. See my problem is I only use
edibles when I go to do some crazy hard stuff at work, right?
Now on travel. Yeah.
And then I usually do it then, 'cause otherwise I'd be like
trying to use them for sleep every night and it would just
cost me so fucking much to have. And it's I'm doing 250

(23:26):
milligrams every night. Should just not even really get
high, but like I'd be going up to 500 milligrams in no time at
all. Oh dude, it is not like now like
I well, I brought up earlier about my my guts and why indicas
they're so great for it because I was eating those those greens

(23:47):
'cause they're great for pain. OK.
And I'd eat those and I wouldn'tfeel fucking anything.
I'd I'd eat A50 and I smoked probably 5 bowls that day.
That's crazy and I didn't. Feel it.
I felt like I was kind of, I waslike.
Oh, that makes sense though. This is what Brandon feels.
Yeah, I'm like, 'cause there's so much that I'm like, I don't
even feel high when it's usuallywhen I have so much pain and I'm

(24:10):
like, I've already taken 500 milligrams, I've already smoked
a ton. I've taken a dab.
I've like taken a. What can I do?
What am I supposed to do? I'm rubbing stuff on my back,
like am I supposed to go pop 1000 milligrams?
Am I supposed to go take 2000 milligrams?
Yeah, dude. But then I'm like.
Just crack open the cart and. Yeah, but that's what it would
have to be because that's 2000 milligrams.

(24:32):
I'm like, that's four full packages of 500 milligram
edibles all at once. That's way too much sugar.
Shit, just that. Not even the sugar.
Just thinking about all that forme.
Gelatin. That's a lot of shit all at
once, and I'm gonna go, I feel like.
Oh yeah, well, 'cause it's your body is.
Still a lot of sugar. Well, your body instantly turns
it into fire and it just burns off and then so I could imagine

(24:54):
how that would make you 'cause you would feel that like.
Yeah, so that's why I wish that I had an easier way to do my
dose because I hate having to dolike an entire handful of
gummies and I'm not even high. That was the thing, dude.
So those few days that I was doing that, I was eating
probably 2 to 3 edibles during the day.
So I'm eating 150 milligrams throughout the day and I'm

(25:17):
smoking on top of that. Yeah, that's crazy.
Still felt nothing. Then last night I'm like, I'm
going to the gym. I haven't been to the gym in
five days. I'm like, this is going to suck.
I popping edible 'cause I usually do or I'll smoke a
couple bowls before I go. I like to feel it really good in
there and and it gets my heart rate up faster, which is what I

(25:39):
want. And when I, I was going there, I
was like right before I was about to go and I'm driving
there like. Oh shit.
But it was the sativa one. But I normally I didn't feel it.
That's why I was like, man, it'll be fine.
Yeah, no pain. Now I'm like oh fuck.
Yeah, that sucks. But no, it was great because I

(26:01):
was actually able to lift a lot and I didn't feel any pain.
I feel cheated. That's the only thing I hate
about. You feel cheated?
Yeah. Testosterone.
I don't feel sore anymore. Oh, so you don't feel like you
got the workout that you used tobecause your body usually was?
And now I, I, I could feel like,I feel like when I was 2122, I'd
go work out two days later. Must be fantastic.

(26:22):
I can only imagine. Well, like last night, dude, I
did a really heavy chest workoutand I was doing considerable
amount of weight, lots of reps Normally I should be in the ER
right now. Like I've done that six months
ago. Not even close to the weight
that I'm pressing right now. And I'm not going to brag on
that because it's insignificant, but for me, like you're.

(26:44):
Happy with where you're at? Dude.
But dude, this is the thing. Like last night I pressed a lot
of weight, not sore at all. That's dope.
That sounds. Amazing.
It's weird. It's really weird.
So I want that sore. But in order for me to do that,
I got to go really high on weight and I'm old.
I'm not doing that anymore. I wonder so this one has
miracing is the top terp and then limiting and carry

(27:08):
opheline, but I wonder if that is what like just that fantastic
relaxation that is truly just everywhere.
You know that that's really interesting.
Now I'm thinking about it like Ilike that because I was thinking
limiting or linol needs to be inthere in order for that kind of
calming effect which it has. I don't feel racing heart or
tightness. No, no tight.

(27:30):
I don't even feel it in my back. No, it's inside, like the center
of my core through my chest. But it's not, yeah, it's not
really in my chest at all. Yeah, sometimes you can get a
strain, especially hard hard like THC pining ones for me do
this. You get a little tightness or
something. Oh yeah, it feels almost like a
like a. Oh, push like pressure on your

(27:52):
chest. It's like taking like a £50 like
kettlebell and putting it on your chest and then just let it
kind of sit on you and then pulling it off.
That's what it feels like. It's just like a lot of
pressure. But this is great because I
mean, I I I wouldn't, it wouldn't be good for me to like
do tasks. Yeah, I don't know if I would do
a lot of. Times I'm not lazy, I just I

(28:12):
just don't find that that's. I would have to have a lot of
focus for my day for like a strain like this to be just
because it's very much more of like the chill, the relaxing,
the just like, hey, time to end wine bro.

(28:33):
That's a lot. Puff puff.
Hey, no, it is a little coughy and larger, larger hits.
But that's OK, it's expected. Yeah, I mean, I feel like often
times if you are taking larger hits, it'll make you cough
anyway. So that's.

(28:53):
The other problem that depends for me is that with flour, you
know how far you can go even if your lungs are like super
proofed like everybody out thereif you don't got you ain't got
yourself one damn fancy vaporizers for your your bud.

(29:14):
You are hurting yourself and youreally need to make a
transition. I think it's something that
shouldn't be all the time. No, but it's nice to have.
It is nice to have because it's it's the.
Same time like. Nothing's better than do that.
Last week, that's what I was gonna.
Say, Oh my God, did that stay with me for hours?
Experience from that flower, that combustion, that

(29:37):
difference, and Doctor Riley's talked about it, that there's
different medicinal values and benefits you get even from that
that you don't get from vaporizing and other doses like
tincture methods. Dude, you are so right, 'cause
you know when we smoke that it didn't taste great, but I'll
tell you what are the best thing.

(29:58):
I felt that for hours. Oh yeah, it was.
And and I now know why, like my friend I told you about, he only
smokes joints. Yeah, if you have a bong, he's
like, it's like diet soda for him.
He's like. That's hilarious.
If you give him a pipe he's likeeven more turned off.
Unless you had a Gandalf pipe, because that's just cool as

(30:19):
shit. Like the problem is I've never
had one that worked great. I had a shorter one but then it
got clogged and it broke inside.Like it just wasn't designed the
same for that. And I wondered if there's better
ones out there because I wanted to get a long one.
But when I had one from stogies it was shit.

(30:41):
It had terrible airflow. It wouldn't get that.
And I'm like so if there's a great quality 1 and it has good
airflow in that I would love it.But then again, cannabis gets so
much tar and maybe tobacco does too, but can you clean it really
nice 'cause that's my concern with them.
It's like is, is alcohol or likeanother thing going to ruin the,

(31:01):
the stuff within it? Like I I don't know, I'm not an
expert with that style of pipe, but I'd be very curious if there
is one that's designed that way that would work like be OK.
It's like that Puffco one, the attachment, yeah.
Like proxy the puffco proxy. Yeah, it's it, it's, it's like a
shell or something or does it isa full system, do you know?

(31:25):
So I think there's both. There's the ability that you
could put flour in just the shell, but then there's a
dabbing piece that goes inside that.
I think you can do the dab one. I am seriously interested in
that guys. Have you used that?
What's been your feedback on it?Do you love it?
Do you hate it? Do you wish it was something
else? Do you wish that there was a

(31:45):
different feature on it? Like I really because.
My battery on it like. I don't know.
All I know is like I've got bothof my atomizers are dead.
I haven't dabbed in a while, butI'm I'm sitting on a good amount
of dab cash. But I've tried like my honey
stick. Yeah, it's cool, but it's not

(32:06):
the same. It gives it kind of what an
edible vibe is. They all make you just a little
bit sleepy and it it turns all of my strains into sleepy
because I just can't get the temperature right.
It's either too low and I gotta hold that.
I gotta squeeze that motherfucker and it.
Burns it more. Either way, I'm not.

(32:27):
It's not what you wanted. No, the the a dab rig AE rig by
far is really solid on a low temp, but there's it's so great
and I I really liked it. I don't know what it is.
I like the design. I like the look, but again, it's
like the the was it the Utilian 8?

(32:49):
It's got a cool look, it's got agreat feature, but it's not the
best app. I wonder what the temp range is
on the puffco proxy too, like ifit gives it puffco's other
devices like I did like the puffco peek when I had it, it
just didn't have the battery life I wanted and it was more of
a pain in the ass to clean. Well, my buddy Josh.
Josh. Oh fuck.

(33:10):
I can't think. Well, there you go.
Fucking Mormons. No, no, not Mormons.
What did I say? Memory.
See, this is not a this. You know what?
Don't play any memory games withthis for fucking sure right, but

(33:31):
get yourself permanent marker dude.
This stuff is fucking good. Like I have great, I have giggly
as shit. It's.
Worth checking out. Oh, dude, and I've had plenty
and it's a it's a good concentrate, it's a high amount
of THC. It's fantastic like this is
really good. Oh, man.

(33:51):
But Josh, he, he has a puffco peek and he's like, hey, dude,
it just started doing this weirdthing and he gave it to me.
And this was a long time ago. Oh yeah, this is like several.
Years and it doesn't work. It's I still have it in my
closet and I'm like what the fuck did?
It just need a new atomizer. No, it's just fucked up

(34:12):
internally. And because I didn't originally
buy it and I called Puffco, Yeah.
And I'm like, oh, and I'm sure he doesn't have anything to
prove that he bought it. So I'm just like at.
This point. I didn't know if that's like a
common thing with a lot of like,I know that there are some
really cool companies. You the, the company that gave
us a Utilian 8. Yeah, like they're fantastic.

(34:34):
The great, great response. I broke the glass.
They sent me a new one, like no questions asked.
Super cool. That's why I love that device is
their customer service and theirsleek design.
It's a A1 handed dab. Yeah, it is.
It's a good size. Well, and they do it like this.
They they move it around that little spoon.
Yeah, up top. I don't do that.

(34:56):
I I put my thumb on the side it like it has this curvature.
So I put it right here yeah and then I just go to carve it.
Mm hmm. And it gives me great hits and
I'm like, it's money and it's magnetic, so I could just stick
it on the hood of my car. It's fantastic we've.
Done that remember we were if I garage it a long time ago, I.
Was like oh shit, that's not going anywhere.

(35:16):
But it's so good and that's whatI love about a really good dab
rig and Puffco has cool productsand but Doctor Dabber, you know,
I'm, I'm saying like when you get to another level of dabbing,
right, I would never say go eat,go go glass.
I, I would say avoid glass. I mean, unless it's nostalgia.

(35:39):
Or unless I mean there are I. Mean unless you heat up two
knives on the stove, you. Get an e-mail.
I was thinking if you used to see glass with e-mail, that
would totally be OK. I would totally do that with
that 'cause you could if you want the style of it and you're
like it looks like a cool bong or something totally like get
yourself a squishy nail use thatlike whatever.
If that's your style, your vibe,go that way.

(36:01):
If you want like the electric one you'd I'm loving.
I know how heavy this is at the beginning, especially like
after, but. I'm like energized now, yeah.
I know it's fantastic. Well, it's so good because I
could see now being productive. So this is smoke to ID 8 and
then once it's hits its peak, soyou're about 20 minutes in.
Oh, this is 40. We're about 30-40 minutes.

(36:24):
OK, so about 30-40 minutes, that's when it's going to hit
its peak and you can keep going where it's not as sedative
anymore, not as chill. I'm very clear I I could hit.
If I had bullets in front of me,I would hit them before.
Yeah, the very beginning of it and ask a little bit, let it
settle in. But once it settles in, it's a
lot less foggy. Or like, could you imagine this

(36:45):
except. For the fucking Mormons.
That was hilarious, dude. That's fucking funny.
Because I was. What I wanted was fucking
memory. And I said Mormons.
I know it was hilarious. So fucking funny, but he fucking
Mormons. But that's like, OK, right.
But one of the best things aboutlike finding a a good strain
like this is you got to pace yourself.

(37:09):
And that's why you really need to have, I mean, this is the
last thing I'm going to say, guys, you really need to have a
variety to pull from. Don't just get a whole bunch of
1 fucking strain. Oh, that's the worst because
your body gets so accustomed to that one.
Like I can use them for all sorts of things usually, but
then it's still like if you've just got one strain, it doesn't

(37:31):
do. I mean, you don't get all the
same cannabinoids, terpenes, everything.
And so if you're switching it upusing different ones, not only
will your experience like be better because you're not
getting so accustomed. To that.
Yeah, exactly. Like your highs are better and
you're just rotating through those.
So try different ones, get new strains and see what ones feel
nice, what ones work really wellfor you.

(37:53):
And if you guys have questions, reach out and let us know like
hey, what strain should I try? Yeah, and and and keep note when
you guys are going through new strains and you're listening to
these episodes going, you know, I like how their conversation
went. I like what they were talking
about as far as the effects and you know, some of their topics
were kind of cool. It kind of speaks some interest.

(38:14):
Look at the terpene profiles of these strains more so than just
a strain name. You could be in a place that
doesn't have that strain, but you want to feel that same
thing. Look at the percentages of of
the terpenes and and in order. What cannabinoids?
If there's the same cannabinoidsof like, hey, it's got more.
What are their majors and minors?
If you can get that much information, and honestly, you

(38:36):
don't, you don't. I mean, you can listen to this
because you're going to get an experience beyond what you'd
normally going to get. But utilize technology guys.
Skip Google Go chat real quick afree chat and just say hey
what's in this? And honestly, you could, even if
you get more detail in that on the strain, you can even find
the flavonoids or the flavors ofit and you can maybe go, hey,
these types of flavors and theseterpenes and cannabinoids 'cause

(39:00):
even the flavonoids affect the experience.
Maybe you could find like way different strains even in your
area that might be perfect for. That very, very true, very true.
And if you're able to keep that mindset and it, it's not that
strains are bullshit. I know you got a lot of people
who are the pinky up all the time, but it matters more on how

(39:25):
your body deals with those terpenes and the entourage
effect that you're feeling. So keep that in mind.
Wider range of cannabinoids, wider range of terpenes, you get
that entourage effect. So unfortunately like dirty
disties are cheap but the experience is never going to be
as good. No, it it we, we are past the
good it. It's like the fast food was back

(39:46):
in the day, carts back in the day.
They were great. They were so good.
I felt better on maybe it was because I was new to him, but I
will tell you there has been a dramatic drop in quality.
I think there's always that. It's that.
Everywhere you go there's the race to the bottom and so you
just have to continuously find who's the next one up and go.

(40:07):
It's always the new ones becausethey're trying to get and then
they fall in the. Yeah.
And so a lot of the newer ones, you go and it's like, oh, they
create really good stuff and they've got this really high
quality. And then it's like, Oh well, we
want to compete here and we wantto compete here and we want to.
And so they introduce lower and cheaper and, you know, shittier
stuff. And it's like, OK, well, I mean,
that's not what we want, but that's what we're getting.

(40:31):
So with that, if you have a local plug that can bring this
to you, look for it in a a live resin pen.
That would be fantastic. Flower.
Yeah, if you got it in flower, I'd be really curious if any
West Coast growers. Or like a a.
'Cause I was in. A rosin hash or something like

(40:53):
some cold water extraction? I could imagine this looking
just like that, that honey looking at what's?
Which one was that Like that jarit was which one was it?
Dante's Inferno. Yeah, Dante's Inferno.
Like it looked like honey. It looked like whipped honey.
It's 'cause it, Oh yeah, it still kind of does 'cause it's
in the fridge. Yeah, yeah.

(41:14):
Yeah, Oh dude, every time I saw that, I just thought of Winnie
the Pooh. Christopher Robin.
Oh, especially when it's melted,it looks so much like.
Yeah, yeah. All right.
Hey, go check it. Out catch you next week.
Later, kids.
