Welcome back to Day 27 of the 75 Hard challenge.
In today’s episode I talk about adapting routines while friends are visiting onboard, completing a steady morning bike ride despite a slightly aching knee, and why discipline matters far more than motivation when life gets busy.
Today’s progress included:
• 48 minute bike workout
• 13.5km completed
• Water intake on track
• Reading progress made
• Second workout pla...
Day 26 of 75 Hard and the challenge is starting to feel real now!
This morning aboard Dream we completed another Couch to 10K session, followed by yoga stretching and a final run back to the boat. Little by little we’re improving, and we’re both really starting to enjoy the running now.
Today we talk about:
Today marks Day 25 of the 75 Hard challenge — officially one third of the way through.
In this episode I talk about changing up my workout routine after digging out my old Wing Chun rattan ring from my martial arts days. What started as a backup plan turned into one of the most enjoyable workouts I’ve had in a long time.
I also discuss:
Day 23 of the 75 Hard Challenge and the routine is now fully locked in. What started as discipline is quickly becoming habit.
In this episode, I share my morning IsoBow and Bullworker X5 workout, why isometric training is more intense than it looks, and how we stayed consistent despite an early appointment.
I also break down my simple daily nutrition, including a high-protein breakfast, clean meals, and why keeping things consistent ...
Day 24 of 75 Hard is complete — and tomorrow marks ONE THIRD of the challenge finished. 💪
This morning’s Couch to 10K session was a tough one with aching calves from yesterday’s Iso Bow workout, but discipline got the job done once again. We even pushed out an extra half-mile run on the way back to the marina despite heavy legs.
Today’s Patreon video includes:
🏃♂️ Running and mindset updates
💪 Fighting through sore legs
Day 22 of 75 Hard… and we went back to the beginning.
Early alarm, wind still howling, but no excuses — we got out to the track and completed Couch to 10K Week 2.
Why start from the beginning?
Because of a knee injury… and because sometimes the smartest move is to slow down to build back stronger.
This journey isn’t about ego. It’s about consistency.
We’re training together, building step by step, and focusing on long-term progres...
Day 21 of the 75 Hard Challenge and the results are starting to show—not just physically, but mentally too.
In this episode, I talk about:
This challenge is no lon...
It started with good intentions… and a snooze button that turned 5 minutes into nearly two hours. But instead of letting that derail the day, I got up, got on the bike, and got it done.
At first, I wasn’t feeling it at all. Legs were heavy, motivation was low—but one small change made all the difference. I switched up my route, and just like that, everything clicked.
In this episode, I talk about:
Day 19 of the 75 Hard challenge and the routine is starting to lock in.
Up early again today — Jen hit the track for a run while I stayed back and pushed through a strength session using resistance bands and the iso bow… and I’ve got to say, the burn you get from it is unreal. Simple bit of kit, but it really delivers.
In this episode, I talk about:
Day 18 of the 75 Hard Challenge… and something has shifted.
In this episode, I talk about how discipline is starting to feel automatic. The early mornings, the workouts, the structure—it’s no longer a battle, it’s becoming part of who I am.
Today started strong with progress photos, 20 pages of Atomic Habits, a full iso-bow session, and a bike ride—all done before 9:30am. That’s the power of stacking small wins early.
I also share:
Started the day the right way — progress photo done, water started, and straight out to the running track. Jen joined me this morning and we kept each other going through the session 💪
I’ve noticed I only really get going towards the end, so today I pushed harder on that last lap… and it felt great. That’s where the progress is.
This afternoon it’s an isotonic workout with the iso bow (home-made by Jen… and just as good as anything ...
The motivation from Day 1? Gone.
The excitement? Fading.
Now it’s all about discipline.
Today started strong with a 13km bike ride, setting the tone early. But the real challenge isn’t physical anymore… it’s mental. This is the phase where most people start to slip—cut corners, ease off, and eventually quit.
Not happening here.
In today’s video, I talk about:
After dealing with a recent knee issue, I made the decision to take a smarter approach to running — starting back with a Couch to 10K session to rebuild strength properly rather than going all-out too soon.
What started as a steady 30-minute session quickly turned into something more…
I kept going.
Ran back to the marina… added a few extra laps… and ended up hitting 9KM!
From injury… to progress.
This is what 75 Hard is all about — adap...
Started the day strong with a bike session, getting the legs and lungs working as usual—until a puncture stopped me in my tracks. Most people would’ve called it there… but not today.
Swapped straight into my running shoes and got back out for a walk/run session to finish what I started.
This is what 75 HARD is really about—discipline, adaptability, and refusing to quit when things go wrong.
I also dive deeper into lessons from Atomic ...
75 HARD Day 13 – Building Discipline & Momentum
Day 13 of the 75 Hard challenge and the routine is starting to feel natural. After getting back on track, today was about staying consistent despite tough weather conditions.
With rain setting in, the outdoor workout came early — a 13.5km bike ride — following up on yesterday’s 15km session and Bullworker workout.
In this episode, I also dive into:
Day 12 of my 75 Hard journey… and this was a close one. After a strong, productive day — early workout, filming and editing, clean eating, second workout completed — everything was on track. But at 10pm, I realised I hadn’t taken my daily progress photos. That’s an instant fail.
In this episode, I talk about how easy it is to slip up, not because something is difficult, but because you lose focus for just a moment. It’s often the s...
Day 11 of 75 Hard… and this is where everything starts to change.
After pushing through the mental struggle on Day 10, I’m back in the zone. Energy is high, motivation is there, and more importantly — discipline is taking over. Even with a busy day filming and working on podcasts, everything just seemed to fall into place.
Starting earlier made a huge difference.
In this video, I share:
Some days you wake up motivated… and some days you really don’t.
Day 10 of my 75 Hard journey was one of those tough mental battles. After a full morning of filming and editing, I found myself struggling to get that first workout in. The hardest part wasn’t the exercise — it was getting into the right mindset.
But I did it anyway.
In this episode, I talk about pushing through resistance, forcing action when motivation isn’t there, and...
Day 9 is complete… and the momentum is starting to build.
In this episode, I break down yesterday’s training — walking and biking — and talk about what it really means to stay consistent when the initial motivation starts to fade. Every task is done, every box ticked, and I’m feeling good, focused, and fully on track.
This is the stage where discipline takes over.
If you’re on your own journey — whether it’s fitness, business, or mind...
Day 8 is where it gets real.
The motivation fades. The excitement wears off. And for most people… this is where they stop.
In today’s episode, we dive into the moment that separates those who start from those who finish. This isn’t about fitness—it’s about mental toughness, discipline, and learning how to keep going when every part of you wants to quit.
If you’ve ever struggled to stay consistent, if you’ve ever told yourself “I’ll st...
