Carrie Fisher plays the wife in an unhappy marriage who has to help her 9-year-old get through the sad reality of divorce and find her own "Happily Ever After." Once again, a small made-for-TV movie has brought up topics we didn't even know we needed to discuss. For example, how can a movie that stars Carol Burnett, Rhea Pearlman, Danny DeVito, and our space grandma herself be so very forgotten?
(Also, it's pretty good!)
We're off this week, but we're sharing one of our favorite past episodes. It's Disability Pride Month, and we loved how much we got to talk about disability rights, ableism, and the lived experience of people with disabilities as we explored this little-known ABC Sunday movie, "Leave Yesterday Behind."
