Oh, self. We can be different versions of ourselves throughout our lives, even in our day to day. In this episode, we reflect on the the art of self-reflection and self-growth journey. By nature, it can often feel lonely and selfish since it's internal, but it doesn't need to be!! ❤️🔥
As Piera shares in the episode: "Growth is like a mirror. When you notice and share what you are learning in your self-growth journey with the people around you, it’s like a chain reaction, and feels more inclusive since healing by nature is lonely and selfish. It feels supportive, there's a feeling of safety, to guide each other and feel less alone."
Granted, you can lose friends and connections as well, BUT it's all for the best. As Harlee shares: "I have a hard time losing friends, but I also realize like I’m not the person I used to be. When you are on your self-growth path, some people don’t necessarily like it because they may not be at your point and they could end up holding you back. You can hope that someday they’ll catch up to you, but I do find most people who continue to be in my life know and understand that we’re all on our own path, trying to be the best selves we can be for each other and ourselves .
We also talk about what we experienced during our recent travels, and how we don't hate living in LA (as much).
There's a lot to learn about yourself when you get out of your bubble, you reconnect with yourself in a new way, and learn what parts of yourself you can release and let go of to continue on the path of who you are becoming and want to be.
