Blessed Maria FranciscaSiedliska lived between 1842 and

When a Capuchin friar preparedher for her first Holy
Communion, she began to desirethe religious life and made a
private act of consecration toGod.
Her father was greatly opposedand said he would rather see her

Her vocation was not deterred,and she went to Rome to obtain

The Congregation of Sisters ofthe Holy Family of Nazareth was
