Lord so dearly loves the virtueof humility, the thought
suddenly struck me, withoutprevious reflection, that it is

because God is the supreme truthand humility is the truth, for
it is the most true that we havenothing good of ourselves, but
only misery and nothingness.
Whoever ignores this lives alife of falsehood.
They that realize this fact mostdeeply are the most pleasing to
God, the supreme truth, for theywalk in the truth.
