Strong passions are the preciousraw material of sanctity.
Individuals who have carriedtheir sinning to extremes should

(02:35):
not despair or say I am toogreat a sinner to change, or God
would not want me.
God will take anyone who iswilling to love, not with an
occasional gesture, but with apassionless passion, a wild
tranquility.
A sinner, unrepentant, cannotlove God any more than someone
on dry land can swim, but assoon as a person takes his

(02:59):
errant energies to God and asksfor their redirection, he will
become happy as he was neverhappy before.
It is not the wrong things onehas already done that keep one
from God, it is presentpersistence in that wrong.
Someone who turns back to God,as the Magdalene and Paul,
welcomes the discipline thatwill enable him to change his

die.
Finding that they did not diefrom lack of food, the Roman
governor summoned them.
Demetria, after professing thefaith, died at his feet.
Saint Biana was given to theguardianship of a pagan woman
who tried to force her intoprostitution.
Saint Biana refused andresolutely maintained her faith
in Christ.

(05:10):
For this she was beaten, tied toa pillar, and cruelly scourged.
She eventually died from hertortures, and her body was
discarded to be eaten by wilddogs.
The animals, however, would nottouch her.
Her body was recovered by apriest and buried, with a chapel
built over the tomb for herveneration.
Saint Bibiana, pray for us.

Are You A Charlotte?

In 1997, actress Kristin Davis’ life was forever changed when she took on the role of Charlotte York in Sex and the City. As we watched Carrie, Samantha, Miranda and Charlotte navigate relationships in NYC, the show helped push once unacceptable conversation topics out of the shadows and altered the narrative around women and sex. We all saw ourselves in them as they searched for fulfillment in life, sex and friendships. Now, Kristin Davis wants to connect with you, the fans, and share untold stories and all the behind the scenes. Together, with Kristin and special guests, what will begin with Sex and the City will evolve into talks about themes that are still so relevant today.
