prayers for our Holy Father.
In the name of the Father and ofthe Son and of the Holy Spirit,

(00:22):
amen.
O Jesus, through the ImmaculateHeart of Mary, I offer you my
prayers, works, joys, andsufferings of this day, for all
the intentions of your sacredheart, in union with the holy
sacrifice of the Mass throughoutthe world, for the salvation of
souls, the reparation of sins, the reunion of all Christians,

(00:42):
and in particular for the holyintentions of the Holy Father
this month, amen.
Prayers for the Holy FatherAlmighty and everlasting God,
have mercy upon thy servant,Pope Leo XV, our Supreme
Pontiff, and direct himaccording to thy loving kindness
in the way of eternal salvation, that of thy gift he may ever

(01:05):
desire that which is pleasingunto thee, and may accomplish it
with all his might, throughChrist our Lord, amen.
Our Father who art in heaven, hallowed be thy name.
Thy kingdom come, thy will bedone, on earth as it is in
heaven.
Give us this day our dailybread, and forgive us our
trespasses, as we forgive thosewho trespass against us, and

(01:28):
lead us not into temptation, butdeliver us from evil, amen.
Hail Mary, full of grace, theLord is with thee.
Blessed art thou amongst women, and blessed is the fruit of thy
womb, Jesus.
Holy Mary, Mother of God, prayfor us sinners, now and at the
hour of our death, amen.
Glory be to the Father and tothe Son and to the Holy Spirit,

(01:51):
as it was in the beginning, isnow, and ever shall be, world
without end, amen.
In the name of the Father and ofthe Son, and of the Holy Spirit,
amen.
Quote from Saint Francis deSales Never be in a hurry.
Do everything quietly and in acalm spirit.

(02:12):
Do not lose your inner peace foranything whatsoever, even if
your whole world seems upset.
Meditation of the Day, anexcerpt from Visits to the
Blessed Sacrament and theBlessed Virgin Mary by Saint
Alphonsus Logori Pages Romannumerals twenty one through
twenty three.

(02:33):
And now, as to the visits to themost blessed Virgin, the opinion
of Saint Bernard is well knownand generally believed.
It is that God dispenses nograces otherwise than through
the hands of Mary.
God wills that we should receivenothing that does not pass
through Mary's hands.
Hence, Father Suarez declaresthat it is now the sentiment of

(02:56):
the universal Church that theintercession of Mary is not only
useful but even necessary toobtain graces.
And we may remark that theChurch gives us strong grounds
for this belief by applying thewords of the sacred scripture to
Mary and making her say In me isall hope of life and of virtue.

(03:17):
Come over to me all ye thatdesire me.
Ecclesiastes chapter twenty fourverse twenty five.
Let all come to me, for I am thehope of all that you can desire.
Hence she then adds Blessed isthe man that heareth me and that
watcheth daily at my gates, andwaiteth at the posts of my

(03:37):
doors.
Proverbs eight thirty four.
Blessed is he who is diligent incoming every day to the door of
my powerful intercession, for byfinding me he will find life and
eternal salvation.
He that shall find me shall findlife and shall have salvation
from the Lord.

(03:57):
Proverbs thirty five.
Hence, it is not without reasonthat the Holy Church wills that
we should call her our commonhope by saluting her, saying,
Hail our hope.
Let us then, says Saint Bernard, who went so far as to call Mary
the whole ground of his hope, seek for graces and seek them

(04:19):
through Mary.
Otherwise, says Saint Antonius,if we ask for graces without her
intercession, we shall be makingan effort to fly without wings,
and we shall obtain nothing.
He who asks without her as hisguide attempts to fly without
wings.

(04:39):
Scripture verse of the day andthe Lord's servant must not be
quarrelsome, but kindly toeveryone, an apt teacher,
patient, correcting opponentswith gentleness.
God may perhaps grant that theywill repent and come to know the
truth, and that they may escapefrom the snare of the devil,
having been held captive by himto do his will.

(05:08):

(06:37):
Xavier, a priest, a reading fromthe Book of the Prophet Isaiah,
chapter twenty five, verses sixthrough ten.
On this mountain, the Lord ofhosts will provide for all
peoples a feast of rich food andchoice wines, juicy rich food
and pure choice wines.
On this mountain he will destroythe veil that veils all peoples,

(07:01):
the web that is woven over allnations, he will destroy death
forever.
The Lord God will wipe away thetears from all faces, the
reproach of his people he willremove from the whole earth, for
the Lord has spoken.
On that day it will be said,Behold our God, to whom we
looked to save us.

(07:23):
This is the Lord for whom welooked.
Let us rejoice and be glad thatHe has saved us, for the hand of
the Lord will rest on thismountain.

leads me, He refreshes my soul.
I shall live in the house of theLord all the days of my life.

At that time Jesus walked by theSea of Galilee, went up on the

(08:53):

Great crowds came to him, havingwith them the lame, the blind,
the deformed, the mute, and manyothers.
They placed them at his feet, and he cured them.
The crowds were amazed when theysaw the mute speaking, the
deformed made whole, the lamewalking, and the blind able to

(09:13):
see, and they glorified the Godof Israel.
Jesus summoned his disciples andsaid, My heart is moved with
pity for the crowd, for theyhave been with me now for three
days and have nothing to eat.
I do not want to send them awayhungry, for fear they may
collapse on the way.
The disciples said to him, Wherecould we ever get enough bread

(09:33):
in this deserted place tosatisfy such a crowd?
Jesus said to them, How manyloaves do you have?
Seven, they replied, and a fewfish.
He ordered the crowd to sit downon the ground.
Then he took the seven loavesand the fish, gave thanks, broke
the loaves, and gave them to thedisciples, who in turn gave them
to the crowds.
