When you’re sick with a cold, flu, or illness, recovery can feel extra vulnerable. Weakness, isolation, and self-pity can open the door to relapse. In this episode, I share why being under the weather is spiritually dangerous for a Catholic man in recovery—and what practical steps help guard against acting out. I also reflect on the Feast of the Passion of St. John the Baptist, who stood firm against disordered desire, and I open up about my own struggles with relapse while sick.
