Good morning Joel.
How are you?
Speaker 2 (00:44):
I am fine.
Thank you for asking.
I've been enjoying thebeautiful weather we've been
having and look forward toseveral weeks of continued good
weather.
Speaker 1 (00:57):
I know I can't wait
for summer.
We've gotten a little taste ofit.
Speaker 2 (01:00):
We've been teased.
Speaker 1 (01:02):
But the past couple
of days have been kind of cloudy
.
Today looks very nice though, though absolutely.
I just dropped my dad off atthe airport this morning.
He's going to florida, sothat's very nice for him, and
now I will share what we'regonna do.
Today sounds good so today wewill be sharing tiktok user
stories about their messagesfrom heaven.
(01:23):
Jo Joel, do you use TikTok atall?
No, no, no, not at all.
Speaker 2 (01:28):
Not at all.
Speaker 1 (01:29):
See, I'm a big TikTok
user.
I'm on it every single daywatching videos, and that's kind
of where I get a lot of ideasfor work, actually for flyers or
for you know whatever.
Speaker 2 (01:43):
Whatever helps, Paige
, I guess Wherever you get your
inspiration from, it's fine byme.
Speaker 1 (01:48):
I think it's a really
great tool.
I mean, it's not just forpeople telling stories or
sharing recipes, workout tipsand, you know, adventures.
It's also a really fantastictool for the Catholic community
to share their faith and connectwith others.
Speaker 2 (02:03):
Well, if you say so,
I'm looking for reasons to put
the phone down.
Speaker 1 (02:11):
Well, in any case, it
is a way for people to spread
hope by sharing their messagesfrom heaven that they've
received, and this is wherewe're getting all the stories
from today.
So I'll just get us startedwith the first story.
We don't have names associatedwith them, or the user's names
were not asked to be shared.
So in eighth grade I went to asleepover at my friend's house.
(02:36):
Her parents were gone for thenight at a wedding and told her
she could have a friend comeover.
We had a great night watchingmovies, eating pizza, painting
our nails, etc.
Eventually we fell asleep onher living room couch.
I had a strange dream thatnight.
In the dream, a woman enteredthe room, smiled at me and then
locked the front door.
One thing that stood out to mewas a gold crucifix she wore
(02:59):
around her neck.
I didn't really recall muchelse from the dream because we
were soon woken up by loudbanging on the door.
We crawled to the window andsaw a figure trying to get into
the house.
My friend grabbed the phone tocall the police.
We hid in a closet until thepolice arrived.
It seemed like the persontrying to break in had given up
and left.
By that point we called myparents and they picked up my
(03:22):
friend and me so we could sleepat my house.
Years later, I was visiting myboyfriend's home to meet his
family for the first time.
While we waited for dinner Ibrowsed the photos on the
fireplace mantle and stoppeddead on one photograph.
The face was familiar, but thegold crucifix around her neck
made it clear that it was thewoman from my dream.
That night at my friend's house, I called my boyfriend over and
(03:44):
asked him who she was.
He told me it was hisgrandmother.
She had passed away when he wasa freshman in high school,
which is when I was in eighthgrade.
We got married a few yearsafter we graduated college and I
wonder what role she played inbringing us together.
I love that, yeah.
Speaker 2 (04:02):
The meddling
grandmother.
You know you always hear aboutthe meddling grandmother.
Yeah, the meddling grandmother.
You know.
You always hear about themeddling grandmother.
Yeah, here she did it from theafterlife.
That's awesome.
Speaker 1 (04:10):
Yeah, and even in
this story it always just makes
me wonder, because obviously shehad never seen that woman
before.
I don't know when she had mether boyfriend, but it seems to
be years after the incident withher friend and the person who
was trying to break in and justseeing that face on the mantle
at her boyfriend's house.
That had to be a moment thatreally made her feel, I don't
(04:33):
know, connected to the family, connected to her boyfriend, or
even closer to God.
Who's to say?
Speaker 2 (04:39):
who's to say?
Story number two the nightbefore I got married I had a
dream that I was in a field.
Three children walked up to meand told me they were my future
children.
The oldest and middle Childrenwere boys.
The youngest child was a littlegirl.
They told me that God wassending them to me, and he did.
Speaker 1 (05:02):
Now on this TikTok,
she actually showed a picture of
herself getting married and shehad the text on it that said
you know, the oldest and themiddle child were boys.
And then, when you flip to thenext picture, it was a picture
of her family and she has twoboys and a baby girl.
Oh wow, I know.
So.
I mean, god really sent her amessage that night.
Speaker 2 (05:22):
Must have.
Speaker 1 (05:25):
Our third story is
also short.
I was struggling with griefafter my mother died One day.
I asked God to show me that shewas still with me.
I went to the beach thatafternoon and in the clouds were
the words I love you.
And instead of love, it is aheart.
And I actually have a pictureof this one to show to Joel.
(05:46):
Here you go, joel.
I don't know if you can see it.
Speaker 2 (05:53):
Oh yeah.
Speaker 1 (05:54):
Yeah, it's pretty
clear.
Speaker 2 (05:55):
That's bizarre.
Speaker 1 (05:57):
I know I mean if
that's not a message from heaven
.
Speaker 2 (06:00):
I don't know what is.
I don't know what else.
What more you need?
Speaker 1 (06:04):
I think that is a
very clear sign from her mom,
letting her know that she's withher, that she'll always be with
her, and that she still lovesher.
Speaker 2 (06:13):
Story number four.
Mother's Day is alwaysdifficult for me since my mom
passed away a few years ago.
As a florist, I'm constantlyreminded of the holiday due to
the numerous bouquet orders Ireceive.
This year I decided to make abouquet for my mom of her
favorite flowers.
As I gathered her favoriteflowers, I came across one that
(06:34):
brought tears to my eyes.
Attached to the stem of oneflower was a smaller one.
Nestled close.
It looked like a mother anddaughter flower embracing.
It felt like a beautiful signon Mother's Day.
Speaker 1 (06:48):
This one was just
recently posted.
I also have a picture of thisone as well.
Speaker 2 (06:53):
Oh yeah, it does look
like an embrace.
Speaker 1 (06:58):
I like when people
include the pictures and the
imagery, because then it reallyhelps me see.
I will include the photo on oursocial media when I post about
the podcast.
So, if you're listening to this, go check out our Instagram,
our Facebook, Twitter, LinkedInor even our TikTok, and I'll
include some of the picturesfrom this episode that I am
currently showing to Joel.
(07:18):
All right, our next story.
Driving home one evening, I wasfeeling lost and alone.
I whispered a prayer to mydeceased mother.
Mom, if you're still with me,show me a sign.
Moments later, a card emergedin front of me.
The license plate read Mom, Iam In that instance.
(07:39):
I felt her presence envelop me,a comforting reassurance that
she was still watching over me.
It was the exact sign I hadprayed for, and then I also have
a picture of that one, Joel.
Speaker 2 (07:51):
Oh yeah, there it is,
Mom, I am.
Speaker 1 (07:54):
I feel like we talk a
lot about this with our
director, andre, and we talkabout coincidences and how these
aren't coincidences.
They're much more than that, and a lot of people can look at
these and think that, but Itruly believe that they're
messages from heaven.
Speaker 2 (08:09):
They're a message for
somebody.
Speaker 1 (08:11):
Yeah.
Speaker 2 (08:11):
Absolutely.
Speaker 1 (08:12):
Someone was asking
for that sign right there.
I mean, I could have beenbehind that car, but I wasn't.
Anyone could have been behindthat car, but it was the girl
who needed the message.
Speaker 2 (08:23):
The final story here.
After my boyfriend passed away,I traveled to the Philippines
with his family seeking closure.
Before we left, we decided togo on a boat cruise he had
always wanted to experience.
As we glided under a bridge, wenoticed graffiti that displayed
his name and 09.
(08:43):
I asked his mom when he lastvisited the Philippines 2009,.
She confirmed it felt like hehad left a message for us just
for this moment, reassuring usthat in some way he was still
there.
Speaker 1 (08:57):
And then there is a
photo of that one as well.
Speaker 2 (09:01):
Wow.
Speaker 1 (09:02):
Yeah, I don't know.
I mean when he I don't know howold he was we went to
Philippines, but Right.
I doubt he had anything to dowith that on the bridge.
Speaker 2 (09:13):
Probably not.
Speaker 1 (09:14):
Yeah, I think that's
a beautiful message too.
I mean, when someone leaves sounexpectedly, especially someone
so young, it can often leave ahole in our hearts.
But it kind of feels like whenshe saw that it filled that for
her.
Speaker 2 (09:29):
It does.
Speaker 1 (09:30):
