Your host, Sheila Kloefkorn, talks with, the Founder and President of Sutro, Ravi Kurani. Ravi shared the two threads that led to the founding of Sutro. His family owned pool and spa supply stores, providing him industry experience from a young age. His work with a fund in India focused on investing in companies addressing water-related issues, inspired him to develop a product that could sense water quality.
Ravi also talked about the importance of referrals in building a network. He probes the transactional nature of networking, where connections are made with the expectation of immediate returns. Instead, he advocates for a more organic approach, where individuals give without expecting immediate returns, trusting that something beneficial will come out of it.

CrimeLess: Hillbilly Heist
It’s 1996 in rural North Carolina, and an oddball crew makes history when they pull off America’s third largest cash heist. But it’s all downhill from there. Join host Johnny Knoxville as he unspools a wild and woolly tale about a group of regular ‘ol folks who risked it all for a chance at a better life. CrimeLess: Hillbilly Heist answers the question: what would you do with 17.3 million dollars? The answer includes diamond rings, mansions, velvet Elvis paintings, plus a run for the border, murder-for-hire-plots, and FBI busts.
