Episode 32 – Middlesex County has so much to offer to our community … from beautiful parks to businesses of all kinds to arts and cultural venues … to great educational institutions. One such institution is CT State Community College – Middlesex.

Kim Hogan, CEO, CT State-Middlesex, discusses what drew her to working at the college and what she likes most about being a member of this great campus. She also provides insights about the wide array of programs and services at the campus that you may not know exist, such as an on-campus food pantry, center for new media, and ophthalmic design and dispensing center (yes, you can get your eyeglasses atthe college!).

As a local leader, Kim is no stranger to the importance of service to her community. She and Cynthia Clegg discuss the value of connecting with your community and how community service on committees and boards helps to develop leadership skills that benefit all aspects of life.

Are You A Charlotte?

In 1997, actress Kristin Davis’ life was forever changed when she took on the role of Charlotte York in Sex and the City. As we watched Carrie, Samantha, Miranda and Charlotte navigate relationships in NYC, the show helped push once unacceptable conversation topics out of the shadows and altered the narrative around women and sex. We all saw ourselves in them as they searched for fulfillment in life, sex and friendships. Now, Kristin Davis wants to connect with you, the fans, and share untold stories and all the behind the scenes. Together, with Kristin and special guests, what will begin with Sex and the City will evolve into talks about themes that are still so relevant today. "Are you a Charlotte?" is much more than just rewatching this beloved show, it brings the past and the present together as we talk with heart, humor and of course some optimism.
