The Tulsa Race Riot of 1921 is one of the worst racial acts of violence in American history. Also known as the Greenwood massacre, hundreds of African Americans were killed, with their homes and businesses destroyed. Greenwood was the home many accomplished black individuals, including doctors and lawyers. The home of at least 15 black millionaires, and the top black surgeon in America.....why don't we know more about this? Why is their history erased from Oklahoma History. This will be investigated as we try to uncover what really happened on that fateful day.
