feel that way when the episodeends.

(00:45):
It truly has been a joy to hearfrom so many of you who have
been so kind to.
Gimme a call or shoot me a textor some dms that have come, been
rolling in and just letting meknow that you are enjoying the

to your day and that some evenmeaningful information.

(01:09):
You're even being challengedsome.
So that's pretty rad and prettycool.
I'm so grateful to hear that youare.
Enjoying the podcast and I willjust say again that it truly is
an honor to be able to speak toyou in this way, and that you
are taking your time to be ableto just allow me to be able to

(01:31):
say what I feel like the Lordhas been putting on my heart to
share with you.
It really, it really is special.
And so I will just say thanksagain for listening.
Thanks for your encouragement.
Also, it is helping me to notfeel so overly, embarrassed as
this just all feels outta mycomfort zone.
It feels a bit vulnerable, justsaying that, yeah, I'm trying to

(01:55):
host this podcast kind of thing, and.
As people have said things to meabout it, I'm, I'm a little
awkward because I just don'twant anybody to ever think that
I'm trying to market myself forwhatever, you know, putting
myself out there because morethan anything, I truly have the
heart posture of desiring to.

(02:16):
Just say what I feel like God istelling me to say and do what
he's telling me to do.
And in that it's to be a changechaser.
And so I'm hopeful of inspiringyou to do the same whatever that
is and whatever facet of yourlife.
And so I'm just grateful.
So just please know that.
Just really, really excited forall the ways that each of us

(02:40):
are.
Looking and searching, and evenactively pursuing change in our
lives so that we can grow as wego.
Right.
And so I'm hopeful as you'vebeen listening, that you've been
adapting and having maybeperhaps a mindset shift in your
way of thinking about yourself.
Future.
Hopefully you are beingchallenged in the kindest of

(03:03):
ways, in the belief in you beingable to be and do new things.
Being able to grow in the waysthat your heart and your soul
desires for you to feel like youhave someone cheering you on
along the way as you arepersonally pursuing the mantra.
Of growing as you are going andbeing a change chaser with faith

(03:27):
in action, and then getting toexperience change in motion.
In today's episode, we are goingto discuss what it means to
thrive.
Gimme a t, gimme an H, gimme anargument, an I give it ve.
Yeah.
Y'all can tell I wasn't acheerleader by no means, but.
I am excited to talk about whatit means to thrive.

(03:49):
I really feel like I chose thistopic because I feel as though
it lands pretty well in the mixafter we discussed in our other
previous episodes, episode one, becoming a Change Chaser episode
two, the Pivot of PerspectiveEpisode three, the Power of
Friendship, episode four, beingMore Than Conquerors.

(04:13):
Episode five one day or day one,the power of Starting today.
And then all of that led us toepisode six, cultivating Hope.
We talked about hope at thisjuncture of the podcast because
I just, y'all, I just really, Iknow the power that hope can

(04:33):
bring to our minds, our hearts, and overflow into our lives if
we will let it.
It's our choice to pursue a hopemindset.
And then we have a bit of acelebration style message that
we found ourselves hopefullygetting to enjoy together with a
short episode.
I think it was,, around 14minutes or something.

(04:55):
Episode seven, which I chose totitle, shift, shake, and
celebrate, which encouraged usto embrace change and find joy
in the journey as we do so, I'llshare with you that.
I personally found that so muchof my life has been lived for
other people.
I don't know if you're listeningand you're like, Hey girl, you

(05:18):
reading my mail?
That is how all my life has beentoo.
Right?
I'm not actually saying thatthat's necessarily a bad thing
though, but as I self-reflect,I, I do find that to be true.
Um, most people don't know thisabout me.
If you are a close friend, youknow that I grew up in a rough
home life.

(05:38):
I was surrounded by adults whofavored alcohol and drugs much,
much more than caring for me.
So most of my childhood wasspent fulfilling the
responsibilities of caring forour home, the day-to-day chores,
all of the, just the task athand, the upkeep, and really
just meeting the needs ofothers.

(05:59):
And so after moving out on myown, right after I graduated
high school, I.
I obviously had to continuedoing whatever necessary just to
survive.
Y'all we're talking aboutthriving today, but I'll just
shoot you straight and say thatso much of my life has always
felt like I'm just doingwhatever it takes to survive.

(06:22):
And you may find yourselffeeling the same way, or maybe
you've experienced thesefeelings in the past as well.
I know at this particular time, after graduating high school and
trying to put myself throughcollege, I worked two jobs at a
time and tried to go to school.
I started out full-time, endedup having to go part-time.

(06:42):
So I can just share though thatjust being very transparent with
you guys that.
Again, I was much more survivingrather than thriving.
And maybe you have that same, similar story or maybe you
don't.
Regardless of our upbringingsimilarities or not, I am

(07:03):
certain that you've had times inyour life that you too have felt
like you are running on empty.
Maybe you are.
The type of person that isconsistently saying, if I can
just get to Friday, and it'slike, oh, the weekend, right?

(07:24):
You're like, woo hoo.
Amen.
If you're driving right nowlistening, you might give a
little, steering wheel, tap,tap, tap.
Yeah.
Girl Friday.
Can it get here soon enough, right?
Yes.
Please sign me up.
I'll say, I feel you on that.
There's been times in my lifethat I've been so desperate for
Friday to come that I've evencalled Thursdays Friday Eve.

(07:48):
So especially whenever I wasteaching, that was oftentimes by
about sixth or seventh period onThursdays, I'd be like, whew,
Friday Eve is almost over, andFriday is almost here.
But in all seriousness, those ofyou that are kind enough to
listen.
I just wanna say that I knowthat you may also be able to

(08:10):
chime in and tell us all theways that, you know, maybe if
you haven't struggle bust andmaybe you do not live your weeks
for Friday.
I am not saying I do thatnecessarily all the time
anymore.
I do look forward to my weekendsometimes, and, just depends on
what's going on in life, right.
For those of you that arelistening now, you're like, sh

(08:31):
girl, my life is so good.
I am not, I'm not ready for theweekend.
It's good.
I like all the days.
And in the Y then I'll just say,if that is you, then hallelujah.
Praise the Lord.
Let me send you an air high fiveyour way.
That's awesome.
And I'll say, then just thriveon sir or ma'am, but for the

(08:52):
rest of us who.
Don't always have perfect daysand we experienced some tough
stuff.
I'm not saying that anybody hasperfect days.
I'm just kind of making light ofthe fact that,, some of us,
y'all, it's hard to grow as wego, right?
Some of us may be going throughsome tough stuff and it might
not always be easy to try tolive a life of purpose or live a

(09:20):
life of growth, or live a lifeof fulfillment.
And we may not alwaysnecessarily even be able to have
that mentality of thriving,right?
Because we just trying tosurvive, right?
You're like, listen, I'm justgrateful to be alive and I'm
trying to survive, but so inthis episode, I'm just hopeful.

(09:40):
That we can pivot ourperspective, that we can
embrace.
How are we going to try to maybeadd in a few little things to
make our days different so thatwe really can thrive in 2025?
And yes, that is my mantra forthis year.
I always choose a word everyyear I've been doing this.

(10:02):
I think I'm on year 12 now.
And my word for 2025 is thrive.
And so my goal in 2025 isobviously just as I told you the
word is the action of thrive andalways and in every aspects of
my life.
And so with being a changechaser then, hey sweet friends,

(10:25):
I am choosing to.
Seeing what we can do here, right, is finding the purpose,
the growth, and the fulfillment.
And so in today's episode, I'mreally excited that we can all
hopefully go from surviving tothriving.

(10:52):
All right.
I wanted to break it up a littlebit.
I'm trying to learn how to usethis big, beautiful, awesome mix
cast four by task cam.
It's got all these littlebuttons, and so I'm like, all
right, let's break it up so itwon't be so boring.
So I'm hitting you with somesound bites today.
Y'all have to let me know.
Y'all good with that or not?

(11:13):
Whenever.
We talk about the podcast forthose that I are in my life and
we get to chat, but y'all, herewe go.
We're gonna get started with thecontent.
The word thrive, y'all, we hearthe word a lot, but what does it
truly mean to thrive?
How do we move beyond justgetting by to living a life that
feels abundant, meaningful, andalive, right?

(11:37):
If you've ever felt like you'restuck in survival mode or are
ready to step into somethinggreater than, Hey, here we go.
I'm hopeful that the content inthis episode speaks to you,
speaks to your heart and yourmind.
For real life application, we'regonna explore what it means to
thrive and how you can startthriving in your own life today.

(11:58):
So with that said, hot takenumber one leads us to what does
it mean to thrive?
I wanted to throw the definitionin here'cause hey, why not?
Former educator here.
The definition of thrive is todo well, to flourish or prosper,
especially in terms of growth, health, or success.

(12:19):
We often hear the adjective ofthriving being used to describe
folks who are winning at life, don't we?
I don't know about y'all, butI'm like, Hey, I'm liking, I
wanna be winning at life.
We'll hear, I don't know, it's asaying or song, or all I do is
win, win, win.
You know, and so.
Unfortunately, that's not alwaysthe case, but I will say that,

(12:41):
heck yeah, sign me up for thewins in life.
Yeah, every day that ends in whyI'm sure we can all relate, and
so when we go into thinkingabout surviving versus thriving,
surviving is, man, it's aboutgetting through the day, right?
It's just like, whew, man, I'mjust trying to.

(13:01):
Just trying to, you know, waiting on the time.
Right.
What time is it so that we can sget out and get on outta here?
Right?
So if we're, if we're justsurviving, we're just trying to
get through the day, we're justtrying to meet basic needs and
doing what you must do to justkeep going.
Not like the Energizer Bunny.
He was thriving.
Right?
If you remember all of thosecommercials back in the day,

(13:24):
I'm, I'm actually showing my ageat this point, of those of you
that don't know the EnergizerBunny, then go YouTube.
But it is always a, a good timewatching those silly little
commercials, but thinking aboutthriving, on the other hand,
y'all, rather than surviving ththriving is.
About flourishing.
It's about living with energy, purpose, and joy.

(13:45):
It's when you're not justexisting, but truly living.
So a key point I wanna make onthis is that driving doesn't
mean that life is perfect orwithout challenges.
It means you're growing, adapting, and finding
fulfillment despite thechallenges.

(14:06):
And so maybe together right nowas you're listening.
Well just, I just wanna welcomeyou to have a quick little self
check.
Maybe ask yourself, am I justgoing through the motions or do
I feel alive and engaged in mylife?
Pretty great question to askyourself.
Right?

(14:27):
And my next question is, whatdoes thriving look like for me
personally, those are just somethings to.
Make you kind of just stop andthink.
You might even wanna pause theepisode and just stop and, and
just think about those.
Am I just going through themotions or do I feel alive and
engaged in my life?

(14:48):
And what does thriving look likefor me personally?
Couple little questions just tomake you go.
Hmm.
Now hot.
Take number two, the mindset ofthriving.
Y'all.
I 100% believe with everythingin me that thriving starts in
your mind.
Thriving is the moment yourealize that your thoughts shape

(15:11):
your reality.
Thriving begins in the mind as ashift in perspective, a quiet
but powerful decision to believein possibility.
It starts when you stop seeingyourself as stuck and start
seeing challenges as steppingstones.
Isn't that a really cool?
Visual to stop and think about.

(15:34):
I've just seen challenges asstepping stones.
You get through each of thestepping stones into the success
as you overcome whatever theadversity or the challenges that
maybe were laid out along yourpath, right?
It's choosing growth over fear, choosing curiosity over doubt,

(15:56):
and choosing purpose overdistraction.
So when I stop and I think aboutsome good real life application
points to be able to take away, how to cultivate a thriving
mindset, number one, I believethat focusing on growth is huge.
And so with that, I will say forthis one liner on this, what is

(16:18):
focus on growth, not perfection, focus on growth, not perfection.
Some of us that just gives uspermission to just take a deep
breath, right?
Because some of us are like,Hmm, we're trying to dot all the
i's cross, all the T's doeverything just perfect.

(16:39):
And so whenever we stop and wefocus on growth, not perfection,
then it allows thriving to.
Be more tangible, right?
I mean, because I think thatthriving isn't about having it
all figured out.
It's about growing and learningevery day.
And so a quote that I reallylike that goes with that is,
growth is the only evidence oflife.

(17:04):
Hmm, that's so good.
And number two point practiceresilience.
Practice resilience.
Driving requires bouncing backfrom setbacks.
Resilience helps you seechallenges as opportunities for
growth, and so being willing tobounce back, whenever the going

(17:25):
gets tough, the tough get going, right?
We've heard those differentlines and expressions leading to
point number three.
I'd love to make is cultivategratitude.
We've talked about gratitude acouple different times in
earlier episodes, but gratitudeis so important to maintain and
to really practice in our lifebecause I truly believe that

(17:47):
gratitude shifts your focus fromwhat's lacking to what's already
abundant in your life.
This mindset is essential forthriving.
Isn't that awesome to stop andthink about that y'all, we have
the power to control our mindsetto be able to thrive.

(18:08):
Then one way we get to do thatis cultivating gratitude and
then actively practicing thegift of gratitude that we give
ourselves.
Now we're gonna jump on into hottake number three, habits of
people who Thrive.
Thriving isn't just aboutmindset, it's also about the

(18:28):
habits that you build into yourlife.
So we're gonna look at some keyhabits that help people to
thrive, right?
We're all about help instead ofhurt, right?
And just that personalself-growth, and so ways that we
can help ourselves.
Point number one is prioritizehealth.
Driving starts with taking careof your body, mind, and spirit.

(18:50):
This includes.
Regular exercise, moving yourbody, getting up and doing
whatever it is.
Like my goal is at minimum, Iwalk two miles a day.
I mean, whatever that looks likefor you.
Also good nutrition,MyFitnessPal app, y'all have
just started using it.
You might wanna go download it.
It is absolutely free in the appstore.

(19:12):
MyFitnessPal, it's great.
It collectively does everything.
All I have to do is put in.
The food and it breaks downmacros and calories and, uh,
protein.
It, it's just phenomenal.
So nutrition, that's a, a goodlittle tool that you might wanna
use if you're also like mepursuing being healthier,

(19:32):
getting enough sleep, man, thatone's not always easy, right?
We might be scrolling on ourphones.
I call it doom scrolling, or wejust simply are.
Living really, really crazy, busy lives and we don't get in
bed until late and then we haveto get up early and go through
our day and do it all overagain.
But, so making sure that weinclude adequate rest and sleep

(19:56):
and in doing so, that will alsohelp our mental health.
I mean, really it helps uscognitively to be able to, uh,
make sure that our hormones arenot off balance and all of the
things and.
So we'll talk a little bit moreabout that in the future with
some more episodes that we'regoing to kind of break down and,
and pull in.
But for now, thinking aboutthriving, just being willing to

(20:20):
prioritize your health is huge.
Point number two, buildmeaningful relationships.
Connection is key to thriving.
We gotta invest inrelationships, that uplift and
encourage us.
And so I'd encourage you to keepbeing somebody who makes
everybody feel like a somebody.
Continue to encourage thosearound you because I truly

(20:41):
believe that your encouragement,it breathes life and joy and
love and goodness, and so justbeing intentional about
connecting with others will alsohelp to thrive.
Remember, thriving isn't a solojourney.
Hmm.
Sometimes I need that reminder'cause a lot of my life feels
pretty solo.

(21:02):
But when you just stop and youallow people to also love you
back and support you is a hugeway to be able to grow as you
go.
And number three, embracepurpose.
People who thrive have a clearsense of purpose.
They know what they value andpursue it intentionally.

(21:22):
So sweet friends, I hope thatyou'll be pursuing with great
intent of whatever it is thatyou feel called to do, asking
yourself maybe even the questionof what brings me joy and
meaning.
I don't know if you've everstopped and ask yourself that
before, but maybe right now's agreat time on this podcast is to

(21:44):
ask yourself, huh, what bringsme joy and meaning, and then how
can I spend more time?
Doing those things'cause thoseare gonna be life giving for
you.
And so I am hopeful that some ofthese questions, as I throw them
out, I will tell y'all as Idevelop this content, I ask
myself these same things and soknow that I'm cheering you on as

(22:07):
we together truly are growing aswe're going.
Number four, set goals and takeaction.
Driving people don't just dream,right?
They act they set meaningfulgoals and take consistent steps
toward them.
So with that, I'll say startsmall, but stay consistent.
And so with whatever it isyou're trying to do, hey, do a

(22:31):
little bit at a time, right?
Just consistently just doing thenext thing.
And now, sweet friends, we'regonna jump into hot take number
four.
Barriers to thriving.
Because unfortunately, there aresome barriers that may prevent
us from feeling like we are ableto thrive as quickly as we truly

(22:52):
hope.
And some of those barriers makeus feel more like we're just.
Surviving, right.
You know, we're not thriving,we're surviving, and so when we
go through and we just thinkabout how thriving may feel out
of reach because of the barriersthat we face, like let's kind of
talk through what does thoselook like, just from some
examples that'll kind of helpyou get your nogging and your

(23:14):
wheels turning of thinkingthrough so that you can also
identify what is it that you arehaving in your mind, as I call
it stinking thinking.
That may be preventing you fromthriving because hey, you're
allowing this barrier to havepower and prevent you from your
purpose or what you feelpassionate about doing.

(23:37):
And so the first one up is fearof failure.
Mm.
That one will kind of feels likewe just got like a little hit in
our knee, doesn't it?
Right.
That's real for all of us.
I don't care who you are, you'relistening to this.
You've had fear of failure inyour life.
We all have.
I mean, because we're human.

(23:58):
I truly believe that fear keepsmany of us stuck in survival
mode.
Driving requires taking risk anddriving requires us to embrace
the possibility of failure as apart of growth.
And so maybe listening to thisencourages you to give yourself

(24:19):
permission to take some risks.
To try really hard to not allowfear to hold you down, weigh you
down, and keep you from steppinginto what you feel called to do.
Great things, new things.
It doesn't even have to be bigthings, you know?
I mean, just whatever it is thatyou desire to pursue as a change

(24:41):
chaser.
So then the second barrier isburnout.
Driving is impossible if you'reconstantly overworked.
Or overwhelmed.
Rest and renewal are essential.
So friends, I'll say, I know,um, man, this is not always easy
for me.

(25:02):
So maybe you're like me and youneed to ask yourself, am I
giving myself permission torest, rest?
What's that right?
No, but in all seriousness, whenwe stop and we think about it
with the perspective that resthelps usher in renewal, another

(25:22):
positive way to combat failureand burnout is to be mindful of
what you say to yourself.
And so the third barrier isnegative self-talk.
The way that you speak toyourself matters.
I wanna encourage you, I wannachallenge you, but I also wanna
celebrate you for believing thatyou're going to be putting into

(25:45):
practice these things and theseways of being able to grow as we
are going together, right?
These tactics.
And so the sense of recognizinglike the way that you speak to
yourself matters.
And so replace the self doubtwith affirmations that remind
you of.
Your worth and your potential.

(26:07):
So I made a little list, a shortlittle five to thrive, so to
speak here.
In thinking about just the ideaof getting you started, of
thinking about, and for you tobe able to personalize on your
own, but number one, as an ideaof allowing this to be something
that motivates you.
In thinking about that, you cansay, I am enough, just as I am.

(26:34):
Two, I have everything I needwithin me to succeed.
Number three, my potential islimitless.
Number four, I am worthy oflove, success, and happiness.
And number five, I release fearand I welcome growth.

(26:54):
Those are just five quick littlethings I put together to get you
thinking about ways to help you.
Thrive.
I sincerely am cheering you onas you form your own positive
self-talk affirmations.
And so now sweet friends, ifwe're gonna jump on into hot
take number five.

(27:16):
We got five and thrive all up inhere today, don't we?
But so looking at how do westart thriving today?
What does this look like?
And so I'm gonna share with youthat we've got three specific
points on this one.
The number one is thinkingabout, reflect on what thriving

(27:37):
means to you.
Well, thriving really looksdifferent for everyone, so I
will encourage you take time todefine what it means to you.
Write down, what does a thrivinglife look like and what does it
feel like?
You know what I'm saying?
Like you feel like you know whenyou feel good and you know when
you feel bad.
You know, whenever you are justlike, oh, you feel deflated and

(27:59):
defeated.
And so I just wanna encourageyou a thinking about, hey, what
breeds life?
What makes literally your heartlike flitter?
Like, oh, you get so excitedabout something.
Write those things down.
We don't always have to look tothe negative.
Like, let's look to the positivesaying, what does thriving look
like and how do I feel?

(28:20):
Whenever it's something that youfeel like you're just doing
well, right?
Something that breeds joy inlife, and so that's something
that maybe you need to spendmore time doing because you're
thriving.
Number two, change chasers.
It's okay to start small.
So, hey, change chaserlistening.
On the other side of this, it isokay to start small, but you

(28:42):
gotta start now the NOW time, right?
I don't know if you ever thoughtabout this, but if you reverse
the letters in now, then you getthe word one WON.
So woo hoo.
So if you start now, theneventually you will get that
win, which will turn into pasttense one, you know?
But in all seriousness, youdon't have to overhaul your life

(29:03):
overnight.
Choose one area to focus on, beit your health, relationships,
purpose or mindset.
And then take one small steptoday, but start today figuring
all of that out, whatever it is,the one thing, right?
And then again, talking aboutnumber three, celebrate

(29:24):
progress.
We had celebration in there lastweek.
I wanted to bring it all backbecause I truly believe that.
If we can celebrate progress, not perfection, it's a game
changer.
This one feels like a gift thathas a big red bow on it.
To me, y'all, the whole idea ofcelebrating progress, not
perfection, it truly is.

(29:47):
Ah, it, it's like I can just seeit.
It's like this big, beautifulgift with a big red bow because
progress over perfection.
To me is so freeing is to thinkabout, oh man, I don't have to
have it all together.
I don't have to know exactlywhat I'm doing, but just
choosing to continue to makeprogress, right?
Choosing to focus on progressover perfection truly is a gift

(30:10):
that we give ourselves.
I believe this truly with all ofmy heart, y'all, I've always
struggled with trying to dothings perfectly, and so it
sometimes has slowed me down inmaking progress, and I'm
probably willing to, Bet you'llorder a large fries from Zaxby's
that you can relate.
So in thinking though about thecontent for this episode, I

(30:32):
thought that, you know, thrivingis a journey.
It's not a destination.
And that came to me and Ithought me, that is pretty
stinking good right there.
That is powerful.
And the whole idea of thatstatement of knowing that
thriving is a journey, not adestination.

(30:53):
Y'all.
The last episode we talked aboutshift, shake, and celebrate.
So that leads me to reiteratethe importance of taking time to
celebrate.
We celebrate little kids andbirthdays and that kind of
thing, but how many times do wecelebrate our personal successes
in our life?
Right?
So whenever you're listening tothis, I hope you're being

(31:14):
inspired to think about maybesome stuff you wanna change up.
Celebrate your progress.
All right?
Whatever that looks like foryou.
But celebrate, tell somebody youknow, and just letting them
know, like, and that way you'vegot your own little cheering
squad and everybody is gettingyou through.
'cause we're so much better withconnection as we've already

(31:35):
talked about and friendship.
And so every step forward, nomatter how small is a reason to
celebrate.
And so I was thinking aboutsomebody that.
Has lived a life that,, if youdon't know the backstory on this
person, then you'll be surprisedto hear it probably.
But we're gonna go into a quicklittle story time about a modest

(31:58):
writer.
This modest writer became aworld renowned author.
You ever heard of JK Rowling?
Yep.
Some of you're like, oh yeah,I'm a huge Harry Potter fan.
All of the people might say.
Unfortunately, I've never gotteninto it, so I hope that's, it's
not gonna disappoint or offendsome of y'all.

(32:19):
But for all of y'all that arebig fans, then you're gonna like
this tidbit.
But I found it reallyinteresting to know that before
Harry Potter, JK Row was asingle mother living on welfare,
battling depression, and she wasstruggling to make ends meet.
She wrote her manuscript incafes while her daughter slept

(32:40):
beside her.
12 publishers rejected her bookbefore one finally said yes.
That one yes.
Turned into, as we all know, aglobal phenomenon.
And today she's one of the mostsuccessful authors in history.
And I'll just say maybe even themost successful author.

(33:04):
With an estimated net worth of$1billion.
Holy smokes.
On fire, right y'all, her storyreminds us that when you believe
in your vision and you don'tgive up those first four 11
rejections, she didn't quit,right?

(33:25):
She continued to go andpersevere, and finally on that
12th she got her yes, for thepublishing of her book.
And so I hope this encouragesyou to think about that when you
believe in your vision and youdon't give up, that, hey, even
rock bottom can be thefoundation for something

(33:45):
magical, for something movingyou with momentum into the
moment that you are meant tolive in.
And so when I think about J K'sstory, I think, gosh, it's an
awesome reminder that thrivingis possible for everyone.
It's not about where you start, but about your willingness to

(34:06):
grow and embrace the journey, taking the next step, choosing
to do the next thing.
And with that, y'all, like, I'mtrying to throw in some sound
bites, keeping everybody awakehere, right?
As I'm being mouth of the south,I'm gonna close this thing out
here.
Uh, we're gonna wrap up in justa moment, but I will tell you

(34:29):
that I'm thinking so truly frommy heart that driving isn't
about having a perfect life.
It's about choosing growth.
It's about embracing purpose.
And it's about finding joy inthe process, allowing yourself
to have progress overperfection.

(34:51):
Hopefully that one liner willstick with all of us today out
of this episode.
Hopefully, it's a takeaway.
Maybe you're gonna hashtag it ona post that you're gonna pop out
on your own personal socialslater today that you're going to
have progress over.
Perfection.
Name it, claim it, win it.
Let's go.! Thriving is aboutshowing up every day.

(35:17):
Showing up every single day withintention.
And also, I don't, I think we,we gotta show up with gratitude
too.
And so thinking through that, just knowing that even in the
hard seasons, you're buildingsomething beautiful.
And as you are building your, something new, your something

(35:37):
beautiful.
I wanna encourage you to speakwith yourself with kindness,
speaking to yourself withkindness and imagining better
outcomes, right?
Give yourself permission to wantmore.
Again, I truly believe that it'snot about perfection, it's about
believing you're worthy ofprogress and joy.

(35:58):
Form that type of mindset andy'all actions will follow
confidence builds.
Habits align and life begins toreflect the vision you dared to
create in your mind in the firstplace.
So change chasers our challengefor this week in our three point
deal C3.

(36:19):
Time.
Number one, reflect on one areaof your life where you feel
stuck in survival mode.
Figure that out.
Write it down.
Number two, write down one smallaction step you can take to move
forward and thriving in thatarea.
So write it down.
Figure out, okay, you'veidentified it now, what's your
plan?
What are some steps forward thatyou can change surviving to

(36:43):
thriving?
Number three, share yourprogress, celebrate.
Let somebody else know that's asafe person in your circle.
Just let'em know like, Hey, thisis my new project, or this is my
new goal that I'm really, I'mlooking to try to do.
And then that way somebody elseis linking arms with you, so to

(37:05):
speak, and cheering you on.
Remember, we're better together.
So in the closing quote, I'dlove to leave with you guys, is
that thriving is not aboutavoiding challenges.
It's about growing through themand coming out stronger, wiser,
and more fulfilled.

(37:40):
