Speaker 3 (02:06):
Yeah. I've been sitting here with the phone on uh
waiting for your call and never came through. So what's
going on?
Speaker 2 (02:15):
I don't either. I don't either.
Speaker 3 (02:16):
So we got it.
Speaker 2 (02:18):
We got How you doing. How was the weekend?
Speaker 3 (02:21):
Very good? Very good. I did a lot of research
over the weekend and a lot of things to talk
about today.
Speaker 2 (02:27):
Go for it.
Speaker 3 (02:29):
I want to talk about first. I want to talk
about the misinformation that the left has put out of
the shootings in Minneapolis, and they can't seem to get
it right. This was not a school shooting. This was
a Roman Catholic functioning church that is adjacent to the school,
(02:52):
and it's a parish church, and there were people in
the congregation celebrating mass to the wounded. People were eighty
year olds who were there for church services. So, first
of all, it's not a school shooting, it's a church shooting.
Why is that important Because most people, and I'm going
(03:14):
to say, I'm going to be make a bold statement
and say, the vast majority of people in the United
States do not know that there were four hundred and
thirty church shootings and attacks last year. That's more than
one a day, and nobody's talking about it. And using
(03:35):
guns to attack churches is up between two thousand and
twenty five in twenty four eighty four percent. So we've
got a lot of things that are not nobody's talking
about the fact that Catholic churches, Protestant churches, Jewish synagogues,
(03:56):
Muslim mosques are all under attacked in the United States
and even must or in the United States.
Speaker 2 (04:05):
Yes, go figure.
Speaker 3 (04:06):
So yeah, I know, go figure from what I can gather,
and I've been looking at it every day. The shooter
hated everybody, including himself. And we talked about this a
couple of weeks ago about these people that the new shooters,
(04:29):
who are not aligned with any particular group or whether
it's TAMAS or is BLA or whatever it is or
Black Lives Matter. They're independents and they hate everybody and
they hate themselves, she said. And this is another thing,
she said, Well, that's what a reporter for MSNBC corrected
(04:52):
a congressman that he was talking about the shooting in
his district, and she corrected him because he used the
word he because that's what he was.
Speaker 2 (05:02):
Yeah, dude, Yeah, After after.
Speaker 3 (05:05):
He finished, she said to him, no, it's a woman.
Speaker 1 (05:09):
No, not a woman.
Speaker 2 (05:10):
Was a woman.
Speaker 3 (05:11):
And because you're just because you're MSNBC and you say
she is because she was transgendering and in her manifesto
they did did again, didn't mention this. She out like,
outright said that she regretted he transgender.
Speaker 2 (05:28):
Yeah, he regretted brainwashing himself.
Speaker 3 (05:32):
Yes, yes, And so a lot of this, a lot
of things that are important that people need to understand,
and I will I'm going to be critical. Fox News
included yep, were did not include any of the things
that I just spoke to you about.
Speaker 2 (05:50):
And something else. I don't know if you've I don't
know if you heard this or not, but uh, this
dude's father has worked for the CIA d O D
for the last twenty nine year years. His father, the
mother is mentioned in almost every story. The father is
not mentioned at all, and I think that's by design too,
based on where he worked.
Speaker 3 (06:10):
Yeah, and again, we have a situation where the mainstream media,
in this particular case, CBS and their Sunday night show
Sixty Minutes, basically edited an interview with the director of
(06:31):
onland Security, edited stuff out to change to change what
she was saying when she was being interviewed, and she
called him on the carpet on it, and there are
several response edits were done in order to meet the
time constraints that were necessary to.
Speaker 2 (06:47):
That's a load, that's a load of crackity. It's a lie.
Speaker 3 (06:51):
Yeah, yeah, and so we have I'm staying in the
same pardon the pun, but I'm staying in the same church.
I'm just going from pew to Pew here we numbers.
Numbers are are fascinating and if and they can be
(07:14):
manipulated to whatever you want them to say. People were
saying that Chicago is not as dangerous as Memphis, and
they they they they fight the certificate the statistics that
says that there are more quote murders per thousand in
(07:40):
Memphis than there are in Chicago. What they're not telling
you is that Memphis is anywhere near as big as
the city of Chicago in population.
Speaker 2 (07:49):
Yeah.
Speaker 3 (07:50):
So when you when you look at the actual number
of people murdered in Chicago versus the number of people
that are murdered in Minneapolis or in Memphis, the numbers
are startling. Five and thirty one in Chicago, twenty in Memphis.
(08:10):
Neither one is acceptable. But again trying to change the narrative.
And then we have the mayor who currently has a
six percent let me say that again, six percent approval rating,
is saying, no, he doesn't want Donald Trump to bring
the National Guard in. He'd rather have the money to
build low income hausing.
Speaker 2 (08:31):
What so the murders can be isolated to the low
income housing area.
Speaker 3 (08:36):
Well, but see the Again, this shows the ignorance of
the of the reporters. Somebody should have followed up the
Bear statement. I want to ask you these questions. Have
you located the land and how much land are you
going to need to build enough lowcome housing to solve
(08:58):
the murder problem?
Speaker 2 (09:00):
Yeah?
Speaker 3 (09:00):
No, Do you know how much it's going to cut
a cost?
Speaker 4 (09:03):
No?
Speaker 3 (09:04):
How long is it gonna take the build I don't know.
Some people are going to continue to die. Most again,
this is another statistic, another statistic that you're deadn't hear
and I'm going to I don't. I'm not going to
ask you this. You probably already know, but I don't
mean to embarrass you. I'm just asking you, almost rhetorically.
(09:27):
How many years in a row has Chicago had more
murders than any other city in the country.
Speaker 2 (09:32):
Oh, I would say it's been recurring for a number
of years.
Speaker 3 (09:37):
Thirteen years, thirteen years in a row. Yeah, was the
city with the most murders each year. In the last
thirteen years we had we had Labor Day weekend shooting.
I think there was thirty five people shot and five
or seven people were killed. And they don't they don't
(09:58):
need more police. They'd better have low income house and
the idea that this is the way we're going to
solve the problem. We're going to put in low income housing. Well, again,
it just shows how inept this mayor is, and that's
why he's got a six percent. And the people were
(10:18):
protesting over the weekend, begging Donald Trump to send in
the troops. Yeah, to save their children, to save the city.
Speaker 2 (10:27):
Gateway Pott. It's got an article from a Chicago alderman
who is slamming Pritzker and the mayor for refusing to
work with Trump, asking the questions, how many victims are
we comfortable with?
Speaker 3 (10:41):
What's an acceptable kill rate? Yeah, that's the that's the
real question. That's how has mister mayor, what is an
acceptable kill rate of people in Chicago? How many children
are you willing to sacrifice?
Speaker 2 (10:54):
Yeah? I mean what yeah? What was it? What was
it over the Labor Day weekend? I'm reading fifty two
shooting over the over in Chicago over just this last
late Labor Day weekend.
Speaker 3 (11:05):
Fifty two, right, I think there were six or seven
people killed. There were fifty some shootings. Now, so here's
another another statistic that nobody's and I had to reach.
I had to do a lot of research to come
up with this, but I want you to I want
you to understand that this information is that I'm about
(11:28):
to give you in an abbreviated version, is basically from
the FBI, and that is that in twenty twenty four,
the total number of cities a total number of homicides
(11:49):
led by five hundred and seventy three, with Chicago. Memphis,
which they talk about being a dangerous city more dangerous
than Chicago, had two hundred and thirty five in twenty four.
Now there are, uh, there are two charts. One is
the total homicides and then the total homicides per capital,
(12:13):
meaning per one hundred thousand. Okay, every city but one
on both lists have democratic mayors. And the one city
that didn't didn't have a Republican or a Democrat he
had they had an independent or no party declared. So
(12:37):
the Democrats have been in charge of all of these cities.
And these are the most dangerous cities in the in
the United States based on FBI statistics. And that's the
that's the other point I need to make the people
who if if somebody walked onto the school grounds at
midnight and fired a gun. Some people who count statistics
(13:02):
or say that's that's a school shooting. Not true. The
the FBI does not count it as a school shooting,
and so that there are people who are manipulating the
numbers as opposed to staying to to what I think
is important. Now, Washington d C made both lists. One
(13:27):
hundred and eighty one hundred and eighty seven people were
killed last year in Washington, d C. And the rate
per one hundred thousand is twenty seven point five. However,
Washington d C as the highest auto theft rate in
(13:50):
the nation, highest in the nation.
Speaker 2 (13:56):
Those you got all those rich congressmen and senators who
got rich off of our backs and insider trading, and
they're driving some nice rides. It doesn't surprise me that
that's the carjacking cap.
Speaker 3 (14:09):
And and the the this is the thing that's that
a lot of people when they when they hear it,
are absolutely outraged. The average age of the people doing
the hijacking are between twelve and seventeen years of age.
Speaker 2 (14:24):
Yeah, that's who the because that's who the gangs use,
because you know they're generally going to get let off
pretty easily.
Speaker 3 (14:34):
Well, one thing that distinguishes Warshington d C from the
rest of the country is that you're a minor until
you're twenty five, Are you kidding? No, So if you
commit a if you commit a crime, felony, murder, whatever,
and you're under twenty five, you might get house arrests,
(14:57):
you might get angle bracelet probably sometime maybe sometime in
a juvenile detension center. But you're not tried as an adult.
You tried as a as a minor at twenty five
years of age. Only place in the entire country that
has that.
Speaker 2 (15:15):
Well, at least Bowser, at least Bowser came out and
actually said that what Trump is doing is working. All
the other Blue all the other Democrat mayors refused to
acknowledge the crime rate, refused to acknowledge the problem and
instead slammed Trump for wanting to do something about.
Speaker 3 (15:33):
It right, and that he's taken away our constitution rights
by bringing the National Guard. And there was a judge,
a district judge who said that the use of the
National Guard in the Los Angeles riots was unconstitutional.
Speaker 2 (15:55):
No, it wasn't. No, she said it was, yeah, but
it wasn't. I don't care what the judges say. I'm
done with the judicial system, the judicial system in America
is a complete shambles. These judges need to fall and
go boom, you know somebody. But nobody does anything about
(16:17):
the judges doj Little Blondie just keeps letting them do
what they do, no repercussions on them at all, And
they keep destroying the judicial system from the inside of
the judicial system, and nobody's doing crap about it. They're
going to regret the lawlessness that they're creating because it
(16:40):
will one day, very soon affect them personally.
Speaker 3 (16:45):
Yeah, I look at it, and I agree with you.
I think that there has to be a better way
to appoint judges because what's going on. Whether it's a
Democrat or Republican in the White House, they can appoint
over their term, if it's four years or eight years,
whatever it is. They can theoretically appoint hundreds of judges.
(17:09):
I mean Donald Trump when he had his first I
said during the campaign for Donald Trump forty five, I said,
the most important issue about this presidential election is that
the president of the United States could possibly elect to
(17:35):
maybe three justices of the Supreme Court, which will change
the court to more conservative. If the Supreme Court is conservative,
they'll change a lot of things and obviously they have
changed a lot of things. But the idea that we're
(17:56):
we're looking at every time it's political. And I've watched
many of these judicial hearies where people are being interviewed,
and I love Senator Kennedy from Louisiana when he gets
a chance to ask questions and and and the people
really are quite nervous because their past is coming back
(18:17):
to haunt them. But the point is that there's got
to be something better, because idea that that we have
not only judicial appointments by the president, and these are
lifetime appointments, they're they're spewing the court. And we had,
in fact, the problem that was caused was we had
(18:41):
judge shopping by the Democratic Party and and most of
the suits that were filed against Trump came from six states.
And so we're I agree with you that the judicial
system is screwed up, but I think it's the politicians
that have grewed it up. And and I I've been
(19:05):
thinking about that, and I haven't come up with a
solution yet, but.
Speaker 2 (19:08):
I think I can think of a couple that I
just can't mention on air.
Speaker 3 (19:13):
Oh okay, it's a family show, huh. So, so what
I thought about a lot of things over the weekend,
and I look at I look at what's going on.
I look at how how wrong the news media was
on the shootings in Minneapolis, UH, and the people that
(19:35):
were being interviewed, how they didn't get the facts straight,
and and the people who were doing the commentaries from
the from the news networks weren't weren't being honest with
the American people, didn't give them all the facts. And
so I concluded that either they're ignorant or lazy, because
I grant you, it took me some time to find
(19:57):
all these statistics, but I did find them, and I
was able to verify them. I had a meeting yesterday
with my with my regular group, and they said, Dan,
how do you how do you as a as a
reporter and a commentator, how do you deal with information
(20:18):
to verify it? And I said, the first thing I
do is it's my own personal smell test. If it
sounds if it smells terrible, then it's then there's probably
something wrong. I've got to figure out where to go.
I usually start with Google. And the reason why they
wanted to know what my process was because they don't
have a process and they're looking for somebody to help
(20:41):
them so they can figure out what to do. So
I start with Google, and I asked the question, and
I know that I'm going to get I know at Google,
I have a reasonable chance of getting both sides of
the story, so that I can then look at each
side and what people are saying, and then I can
I can drill down down further to see what's going on.
(21:02):
But what I'm really saying to our listeners, you can't
trust anybody anymore. Now you're going to have to do
your own homework.
Speaker 2 (21:10):
You've got to have to trust no one. And the
information's there, you can find it, and it doesn't take
that long. I mean, once you started, once you once
you sense the stench of what you were reading, it
didn't take you probably more than an hour and a
half to find everything you needed to know to confirm
that what you read was a bunch of bs right.
Speaker 3 (21:33):
And I decided that that I am now gaining more
trust in the FBI than I had under Biden in Obama.
And so I don't want to play games. I don't
want to have people to say, well, somebody shot a
gun off in the parking lot. That's a school shooting.
Now I'm looking for places where bad people came to
(21:57):
the school and started killing people, and I want to
find out how many and where. And the FBI is
a great source of crime statistics, and I'm building confidence
in them that we're getting an accurate story. So I
would much rather go to the FBI than to Fox
(22:20):
News or MSNBC or whatever thenn because I don't I
just don't trust them to be able to tell the truth.
And it's it's really it's disheartening because you look at
you look at things. And I asked this, I asked
the group this question, and I've asked it several times,
(22:42):
and you and I talked about it, I think the
last time we were in the air together and I said,
you know, I wonder how many people think that the
reason why the Democrats are against anything that Trump does
is they just plain hate Trump. It's more than you
cannot admit. Cannot admit that that some of the things
(23:04):
what he did at the border was a good thing,
and and and and what they're doing, what he did
on inflation and the tariffs and everything else. They just
cannot bring themselves because of their hatred of the person.
Is so so strong that they are unwilling to give
him any credit for anything that he's done.
Speaker 2 (23:26):
They've become as psychotic as the transgenders. They're as mentally
ill as the transgenders. And they will switch that hatred
from Trump to Rubio or Vance or whoever the next
GOP candidate for president is. That's how psycho they are gonna.
Speaker 3 (23:46):
You're raising it. You're raising a great point because I
asked the question, is this Trump that they hate or
is it Republicans that they hate? In right now Trump
is in charge and is being effective.
Speaker 2 (23:59):
Yeah, that's it, because you can go back Republican first. Yeah,
you can go back to six the six election. Uh
uh when when uh uh Bush when w was up
for reelection, and that's when the left decided they couldn't
support the war anymore. They they had you know, we can't,
(24:20):
we can't, we can't be Americans anymore. We we got
to try and win this election. So we have to
uh make make Bush be be the bad guy. So
they started crapping all over him, and the psychosis just
kept getting bigger and bigger and bigger. And they are
they're mentally these people are mentally ill. I don't care
what anybody says. These people are mentally are as mentally
(24:43):
ill as the transgenders themselves, and they keep getting more
mentally ill by the day, and it's going to result
in some big time blue city violence coming up here
shortly if it isn't curbed.
Speaker 3 (24:57):
Right, I agree, one good question. I know I'm run late,
and I apologize. He just had too many things on
my mind, that's right. I wanted to ask you this question,
and the question is is fairly straightforward. The idea is
to try and find out what is in your heart,
(25:21):
asking yourself. If you if I'm not talking to you specifically,
I'm talking to your audience, but if you if you
hate Donald Trump for what he's done for the country,
where are the Democrats? Where are the Democrats? We have
Bernie Sanders over the weekend saying Kennedy needs to resign
(25:46):
because of his stance on a vaccine.
Speaker 2 (25:48):
Now it's because he's over the target. He's over the
target and he's going to be exposing a lot of
stuff here real soon that Schumer and Bernie and a
lot of Democrats aren't gonna like becase because it's the truth.
So whenever you see that whenever you see Bernie or
something like, oh Rfk's got to resign. He's destroying the country.
He's right over the target, and that means he's doing
(26:09):
a very good job for we the.
Speaker 3 (26:12):
People, right, And I think that that's really that's so
important because we in many respects we've lost our way.
For example, Real Quick bol King as the one of
the polling services that I've used for a long time,
(26:33):
and they have a question that came out this morning,
and the question was pretty straightforward. Do you think that
the Ukrainian war will be settled before the end of
the year. Fifty three percent said no.
Speaker 2 (26:46):
Yeah, Well, I for us, I think it will be
because I think Trump's going to just pull back and say, look,
you're not getting any more money, you're not getting any
more arms. You guys won't come to the table, screw
you both. You're on your own. So I think for us,
by the end of the year it will be. But
for them, and I really don't care at this point.
For them, they want to continue this starmer Germany France France.
(27:13):
Macron is supposedly ramping up all his hospitals to prepare
for some catastrophic event, so they want to keep the
war going for whatever dumbass reason. They have no ability
to keep the war going themselves without us, So I
think Trump's going to bail on them all before the
end of the year. And quite frankly, the way that
(27:37):
Europe has acted, I think we need to pull out
a NATO. Quite frankly, I don't think we need to
be involved with NATO anymore. The EU has become the
new Soviet Union. They're becoming a bigger problem for US
than Russia will ever be, and we need to separate
ourselves from that.
Speaker 3 (27:54):
Bs right, okay, all right, all about going over No.
Speaker 2 (28:01):
That's fine. Stan Perkins, folks check him out on his website,
Dan Perkinsmedia dot org. Dan Perkinsmedia dot org. Thank you,
my friend. We'll talk to you again soon. I know
a lot of you are already on my side.
Speaker 1 (28:14):
And for you naysay is, I have two strong words
for you, cam On.
Speaker 2 (28:20):
Gam On.
Speaker 4 (28:23):
Oh okay, now, I'm going to make sure we'll be
right back with Charlotte County Speaks on news radio fifteen
eighty WCCF.
Speaker 5 (28:33):
Inflation year over year whenever anybody asks me, though, oh
you know, well, government said, there's really not a lot
of inflation out there.
Speaker 2 (28:41):
It's muted. And this pundit said this.
Speaker 5 (28:43):
I said, I'll tell you what. Tell you what. Show
me your bills, show me, show me what you're paying you.
Show me your prices of the things that you buy
are not going up year overyear eggs are up twenty
seven point three percent, Coffee is up twelve point seven percent,
(29:04):
Beef is up twelve point four percent. On cook ground
beef up ten point three percent, candy and chewing gum
up eight point one percent, apples up seven point two percent,
fresh chicken up four point seven percent.
Speaker 2 (29:22):
Ah, what else?
Speaker 5 (29:23):
Utilities, electricity, You get the idea here, Straight on down
the list, prices are higher. Watchdog on Wallstreet dot Com.
Speaker 2 (30:23):
News Radio fifteen eighty one hundred point nine FMWCCF. Peace
came out last week by JB. Shirk, and I couldn't
agree with it more. I mean, we're just talking about
the Democrat Party just keeps getting weirder every day, and
(30:45):
it never used to be like that. There was a
time when most of the Democrats I knew were tradesmen, roughnecks,
farmers union guys, tough dudes, a lot veterans. Some told
some of the bodiest jokes I've ever heard. Now, Democrat
can't define what a dude is. They want to wocify
the military into some gody pageant for drag queens who
(31:07):
fear guns, and they replaced politically incorrect humor with stern lectures.
No wonder American men are fleeing the Democrat Party like
it's a sexually transmitted disease. Speaking of SDDS, one of
the Democrat lecturers that the Americans are forced to endure
(31:29):
is that young people shouldn't discriminate against potential partners who
have HIV. Democrats have even gone out of their way
to decriminalize the intentional act of infecting someone with a virus.
This is the same political party that calls men homophobic
or transphobic if they refuse to date trans women who
(31:49):
are psychologically disturbed men wearing push up bras. So Democrats
are telling young people that they are the haters and
right wing bigots if they choose to avoid potential suitors
with sexually transmitted diseases or mentally ill male plumbing hidden
behind specially designed skirts. Now, perhaps that's why right wing
(32:12):
pejorative has lost most of its sting since Obama fundamentally
transformed America into an oasis for femboys and pan sexual furries.
Can you imagine how many teenage boys have asked so
the Nazis get to date pretty girls who wear Sidney
Sweeney's jeans once they realize that Democrats merely graffitied the
(32:35):
Republican Party's front door with lies and slurs, and that
the average Republican voter just wants to live well and
be free. The choice of future political affiliation it's pretty easy.
Democrats live in a mentally ill fantasy, and Republicans or
conservatives prefer reality. And that's probably why so many of
(32:59):
those older Democrat roughnecks have transitioned to the Republican Party.
As one wrote, this is the only transition I'm up for.
There was a pretty funny joke after that, but I
can't really repeat it. The leftist madness is by no
means restricted to the Democrat Party in the US. All
over the West, lefties are demanding open borders, loads of
(33:21):
free stuff, a ban on all forms of reliable energy.
They want their already bankrupt governments to pay them an
income merely for existing, and to jack up the mandatory
minimum wage until fast food workers earn as much as surgeons.
They think legalizing drugs and abortion up to the moment
of the baby's birth is going to somehow make them happy.
(33:44):
They want an end to unwinnable wars, except they're pretty
sure we should get into a nuclear grudge match with
Russia over Russian speaking lands whose residents don't want to
be part of Ukraine. Oh, and they really want Israel
able to stop fighting back against Sicico terrorists who decapitate
babies in front of their mothers. But they have absolutely
(34:06):
nothing against Jews at all. They just want to kick
them out of the nation that they've built and hand
everything they've created over to illiterate warlords who marry nine
year old girls and scream death to America. And speaking
of the religion of peace, did you catch the story
out of Evil Stepmother? England? The locals in a pastoral,
very beautiful part of the country are unhappy that a
(34:28):
mega mosque is being built in an area where the
Muslim population is less than half of one percent. Most
expected to be the first step and a larger plan
to settle a bunch of Muslims immigrated there right there
in their tight knit community, a young father protested this
unwanted invasion by saying we love bacon outside of the
(34:49):
construction site, and he was arrested for racial abuse. Again,
free speech in the UK is dead, and, as one
social media media commentator notes, vote in the UK today,
you can be arrested for liking bacon or telling someone
to speak English. However, if you're in a Muslim rape gang,
the government's going to cover it up, you can also
(35:10):
be arrested for exposing the cover up. Tim Poole said
that Christian England is conquered. Another commenter observes fun facts
about bacon. People who eat bacon have a lower chance
of marrying a nine year old. Many other American pundits
urge the US military to airdrop guns in Bacon to
(35:30):
the UK before Keir Starmer transitions Saint Paul's Cathedral into
a mosque and hands the keys to Buckingham Palace over
to a London i'mum, probably true. You put all this
leftist engineered self destruction together and it becomes obvious the
West will not exist if Democrats and their Antifa friends
(35:51):
get their way. That's probably why young people, especially men,
are bolting the Democrat Party. Nobody with a brain votes
for his own subjugation. In response, what are the Democrats
pushed on childish morons? Other childish morons such as Harry
Sisson and that crazy girl with a nose ring. They
(36:14):
shove them into the spot like thinking that they're gonna
win them back the young men, to young men who
don't hate themselves. That's like offering carnivores the vegetarian plate.
There you go. That's a Democrat's next campaign slogan, we
love fake meat. Hello, everybody, this is montecor He's my lion.
(36:35):
I have a lion. Now he'll be right.
Speaker 4 (36:37):
Back with Charlotte County speaks on news radio fifteen eighty WCCF.
Speaker 6 (36:44):
How come when you call him on the phone you
wake them up? They always pretend like they weren't asleep,
like it's so bad to be asleep. Like, so he's like,
bring hello, Oh did I wake you?
Speaker 7 (36:58):
No?
Speaker 2 (36:58):
I was just sitting in a chair with a gun.
Speaker 6 (36:59):
What you doing? I am ready to rock. I just
got a new cell phone, thank you. Uh you ever
get a new cell phone? You're too lazy to transfer
all the numbers over. So you just stop being friends
with a bunch of people.
Speaker 2 (37:44):
News Radio fifteen eighty one hundred point nine FM WCCF
ten fifty five Here at Charlotte County speaks little Roy
Buchanan right there for you. Huh oh.
Speaker 4 (37:55):
Yeah.
Speaker 2 (37:55):
We got to get this in and now it's.
Speaker 7 (37:57):
Time for.
Speaker 2 (37:59):
Random facts. Okay, let's see what we got here. Number
one of your five random facts for this September second, Canada, California,
and Tokyo all have very similar populations. Canada's current population
is estimated at forty one and a half million, Tokyo's
(38:22):
metro area has nearly forty one million, and California has
thirty nine point four million. Number two, the official bird
of the small island country of Marieitis is the Dodo.
Number three. Tom Brady drafted by the Montreal Expos in
the eighteenth round of the MLB draft back in nineteen
(38:44):
ninety five, but he decided to stick with his plan
to go to the University of Michigan to play football.
Probably a better choice. Number four, You can't legally get
married in Ohio if you have syphilis. You gotta go
to Pennsylvania for that. And finally, number five of your
(39:04):
five random facts. Remember the bird from Twitter's logo. It's
got a name Larry, as in Larry Bird. It's because
co founder of Twitter, Biz Stone grew up in Massachusetts
and was a huge Boston Celtics fan. And there as
your five random facts. See what else we got here?
(39:35):
Some good news, Yes, we got a little bit of
good news. You do have some good news. Guy in
Pennsylvania climbed. Did you see the video of this? Guy
in Pennsylvania climbed onto the monorail at Hershey Park on
Saturday and saved a little boy who walked out onto
the elevated track. Don't know why the kid walked out there,
(39:56):
but he's just standing there and people are trying to
say no, no. Guy's name John Sampson. He has kids
of his own. His dad instincts kicked in. He hopped
on the roof of a nearby concession booth and climbed
up on the montrail and saved the kid. So there
you go. I was pretty pretty cool. This was also
(40:18):
very cool. Don't know if you saw this. Three brothers
from Scotland smashed a world record by rowing nine thousand
miles across the Pacific Ocean in one hundred and thirty
nine days. They left Peru in mid April landed in
Australia on Saturday. They did it to raise more than
a million dollars to fund clean water projects in Madagascar.
(40:42):
Very cool. World War two vet in California named Jimmy
Hernandez went skydiving for his one hundredth birthday, who his
family and friend showed up to watch from the ground
and described him as a dynamo. He said, he knows
he's a hundred, but he doesn't feel like it. And
the secret to his longevity, he says, is always taking
(41:05):
his medication, which is a shot at tequila at five
pm every day. That's my man, my man. All right, kids,
that's all we have time for today. Back with embassyany tomorrow.
I have a great day. Stay safe. You might consider
ammoing up. You know, it's head to the head to
(41:26):
the gunshot. Per use the offerings bean Armory. Quite frankly,
anybody got any more jokes? It ain't funny. Nope, nope,
all right, see you folks.
Speaker 3 (41:39):
If you are not.
Speaker 7 (41:40):
Fad easily, you're close. If you're not, then you are
the crew. Please leave, We are close. Make your way
to the door.
