Speaker 1 (00:06):
To another episode of Chasing Freedoms. It's a podcast where
we dig beneath the surface to reclaim wellness, vitality, and truth.
Today's topic is one of the most underdiscussed but most impactful,
the link between pets, parasites and chronic disease in humans.
(00:28):
Well explore how our beloved animals may unknowingly serve as
hosts for organisms that affect our health, from gut issues
and brain fog to autoimmune disease and even cancer. Will
also dive deep into detok strategies including powerful herbal cleanses, animas, fasting,
(00:54):
and the wisdom of pioneers like doctor Holda. Clark and
doctor Barbara O'Neill. What are parasites? In short, they are
organisms that live on or inside a host, like us,
deriving nutrients at our expense. There are over one thousand
(01:18):
species of parasites that will infect humans, and many of
them are zoonotic, meaning they come from animals. Common pet
transmitted parasites include round worms, which are often found in
dogs and cats, tapeworms. Humans can get them by ingesting
(01:42):
fleas from their pets, hookworms. These can enter through your skin,
commonly from contaminated soil or your pet waste. Toxoplasma gondi.
It's a protozoan parasite from our cats. It's especially dangerous
(02:03):
for pregnant women. Giardia and cryptosporidium, microscopic parasites and petstool.
They can affect infect the human gut. Let's be honest,
our homes are not sterile environments. Parasites can hitch a
(02:24):
ride via petsaliva, fecal particles, bedding, pause or grooming contact.
Even indoor pets aren't free of risk. Some signs of
parasitic infection are so common most people never even suspect parasites.
(02:44):
A few of these might include, but are not limited to,
chronic fatigue, constipation or diarrhea, gas and bloating, anxiety or depression,
itchy skin rashes or rashes either one insomnia, especially if
(03:06):
you're waking up at three am, which several people have
discussed over the years. Doctors and scientists that a lot
of these The parasite activity happens about three o'clock in
the morning, and a lot of people don't realize that.
They think maybe it's the moon cycle, or they try
to explain it away with maybe I ate too late
(03:27):
at night, but oftentimes it has to do with the
parasite activity becoming more active in your gut at about
three am. Another symptom of parasite activity is also, believe
it or not, sugar cravings. Doctor Barbara O'Neil, if you're
(03:47):
familiar with her work, emphasizes that many gut issues are
parasite driven, especially when people have poor stomach acid, consume
sugary diets, or they lack bitter foods in their diet.
I don't know if you've ever watched a Barbara O'Neill video,
but she is just really an amazing mind with the
(04:11):
plethora of knowledge at her disposal. She is, i believe,
originally from Australia and she's been traveling around. She does
conferences and she does speeches in different places, and she's
really popular on the internet on social media because she
(04:32):
chooses to do things naturally. She often will discuss how
to use a poultice for different things, like, for instance,
her daughter just demonstrated on Instagram a poultice that she
uses for she used when she had a spider bite,
and the poultice included water, cilium, husk and what is
(04:56):
it charcoal? Charcoal, so activated charcoal, cilium husk, and water.
She created this kind of like almost a gelatin like
glob in plastic wrap and then put that on a
spider bite and was able to draw out the venom
and get the spider bit better by doing that. So
(05:17):
Barbara O'Neill is really amazing. She discussed a lot of
different subjects, and one of them, of course is parasites,
because she's not afraid to delve into oftentimes the things
that are a bit taboo, but she will talk about
them and discuss different protocols for them. So here's a
quote from doctor O'Neill. It's a bit paraphrase, but she says,
(05:38):
when digestion is weak and the terrain of the gut
is off, parasites thrive. They love sugar and they loathe bitters.
And I don't know if you've ever heard about the
bitter foods being good for the liver, but they are,
so a lot of people will do like a bitter
(05:58):
herb for end since a bitter herb tea to help
them in their detox protocol to help detox their liver
and other things. So the connection to cancer is kind
of a controversial thing. But it's been coming out a
lot more in the past few months. People are starting
to discuss it more, and that is the connection that
(06:20):
parasites have to cancer. Doctor Hulde Clark. I'm a big
fan of her. She's the author of the Cure for
All Cancers. She's no longer with us. She also has
a website where she sells a parasite protocol, which I've
done several times in my life, and I highly recommend.
There are other parasite protocols. Plenty of really good ones
(06:41):
out there that you can look up and you can
do as well. She was one of the first to
controversially link parasites to malignancy. According to her research, fascio
Loopsis buski, a common intestinal fluke, appears in every cancer
patient she examined. Her theory is that when the immune
(07:06):
system is suppressed by toxins, heavy metals, poor diet, parasites
gain a foothold. They create metabolic waste and even produce
mutagenic mutagenic compounds that damage your cells. This doesn't mean
parasites cause all cancer, but it does suggest that they
(07:28):
contribute to a toxic internal environment. Detoxing parasites, therefore has
become a crucial part of cancer prevention and healing protocols.
This is according to doctor Hulda Clark, who is the author,
I'll say it again, of the cure for all cancers.
(07:51):
So how do we get these invaders out of our bodies?
Let's talk about the three most famous parasite killing herbs
used by both doctor Holda Clark and traditional herbalists for generations.
One really big one is it's called green black walnut hole.
(08:12):
It contains juglan, a powerful anti parasitic. Another one which
you can find in your cabinet typically with all of
your other herbs and spices, is cloves. This helps destroy
parasite eggs and also it acts as an anti fungal.
(08:33):
I was just reading about how cloves also work great
for toothaches and tooth inflammation. Several people have testimfied that
they use these cloves. They would just chew on a
whole clove and it would numb the pain in their
tooth and help with the inflammation until they could make
it to a dentist. So that's just something good to
(08:56):
have in your arsenal if you ever deal with a
toothache where you have any toothpaint another really really surprising
herb that I had never heard of until I started
doing this parasite protocol. It's called wormwood, and another name
for it is artemisia. It weakens the adult parasites and
(09:18):
their biofilm defense. If you're wondering what a biofilm is,
without getting too deep into it, it's a protective layer
of the will say mucus is oftentimes the other word
that the parasites use to protect themselves and keep themselves alive.
So you don't just have to break through the adult parasites,
(09:42):
but you have to get through their biofilm defense because
this is it's a tough thing to break through, and
there's different stages that parasites will go through, so you
can't just knock them out with one dose. You have
to go through an actual protocol, and you have to
keep hitting them. Doctor Clark recommended taking all three herbs
together in timed doses over a few weeks. In her protocol.
(10:09):
If you were to order it, it does have a
chart for you to keep track of the different doses
you're taking on what day. I like to keep that
with me, and I will take my dose and I
will just mark a little check mark next to it
as I take them each day, so I know what
I took and I know what to take the next day,
(10:31):
because it can get a little tricky if you're not
keeping track. You'll find this combination of herbs that she
uses in many modern parasite cleans kits. So it's not
just doctor Clark, but the other parasite protocols. One easy
parasite protocol that I've did that I really prefer to
do now. I love hold of Clark's protocol, but this
(10:53):
one is just it's His name is Marcus Rothkran's and
he has a website. He's pretty easy to find. He's
got a really great one where you just swallow the capsules.
Everything's in the capsule, and you take so many each
day and it builds each day, and so his is
a little bit easier to track. And I kind of
(11:15):
prefer his because I'm not digging out a bunch of
different herbs and different pills and counting them. He's just
kind of got them all right there and you just
swallow him and they're all this pretty much the same
capsule filled with the ingredients, and you just take so
many per day and you build up each day. So
I really like his because it's pretty simple and pretty
straightforward and pretty easy to track. So other bitter herbs
(11:38):
and foods that also can help with parasites dandelion root,
Gentian golden seal, nim pod darko this is spelled pau
lowercase d rco ar, co ch and all of leaf.
(12:03):
You might want to think about rotating some of these
things as a regular part of your daily routine. For instance,
I keep dandelion tea up in my cabinet and I
like to try to drink it a couple times during
the week. I have chickory here. It's a type of
(12:23):
powder that helps to replace a coffee in the morning.
It's kind of like a coffee drink. I have all
of leaf capsules in my cabinet. I don't have golden seal.
That's something I probably need to look into. I really
like that one that helps with also helps with moods.
So there's these things that you can do just on
a regular basis if you think about it, drink that
(12:46):
cup of tea, the dandelion root, you know, have that
chickory coffee substitute around every now and then if you
don't want the jitters. Keep some all of leaf in
capsules in your cabinet. That's another great one. These work
by restoring the body's bitter response, which is really important
(13:08):
for your bioproduction and your immune response. Now, this is
a little bit of a taboo subject people don't really
like talking about, and when I brought this particular subject up,
people tend to squirm a bit. They don't really like
talking about animas. So there's a few ways that you
(13:32):
can go deeper with your detox protocol. Enemas fasting and
terrain healing parasites don't just live in your gut. They
hide in biofilm. As I was discussing earlier. It's like
a type of mucus where they're a protective barrier. They
(13:52):
also can live in muscle tissue, the brain, and the liver.
That's why deeper protocols are needed. Coffee enemas are famous
in the Gerson therapy model of healing. Gerson therapy. He's
famous for being the doctor who helped with the cancer protocol.
(14:14):
This is a bit controversial, but there are so many
people out there if you were to go do your research,
do your deep dive, who have claimed to be healed
by the Gerson therapy, and a part of that therapy,
a very important integral part is the coffee enema. They
stimulate bileflow and liver detoxification. They help the body expel
(14:37):
parasites and toxins through the colon, saltwater fleshes and castor
oil packs, which I discussed earlier that Barbara O'Neil likes
to talk about and describe and really wonderful detail how
to do this. They can also help loosen debris and
stimulate lymphatic drainage. We haven't really talked much about lymphatic drainage,
(15:01):
but it is something that is oftentimes taken for granted.
If you're not moving around a lot, if you're sitting
a lot, if you have a job that requires you
to sit, you can clog up your lymph nodes and
you don't even understand what's happening. You can get brain fog.
Things just aren't moving, they aren't getting the toxins, aren't
(15:22):
getting out of your body. So these types of protocols,
these things can help keep things moving. Obviously, you want
to exercise, you want to take a walk, You might
get a vibration plate. We have a vibration plate. You
can stand on it, you watch TV while it's moving around,
and it can help to assist in lymphatic drainage of
the body as well. Doctor Barbara O'Neil often recommends intermittent
(15:47):
fasting and water fasting as a powerful strategy. Well, I
can say for myself, intermittent fasting has done wonders for
how I feel if I typically do intermittent fast but
if I'm really committed to it, I will wait. Like today,
I didn't eat till two thirty. I actually had a
(16:08):
lot of energy today because I didn't weigh my digestion down.
I didn't eat when I woke up, and my body
didn't have to focus on digestion. It took the energy
I would normally use on digestion, and I was able
to get a lot done around the house today because
I decided, you know, hey, I don't want to eat
right now. I'm not really that hungry. It's not that important.
So I'll take advantage of the situation. I'll get a
(16:29):
lot accomplished, and I will intermittent fast. And then I
broke my fast around two thirty with a cheese omelet,
and I'd have to say I feel pretty good right now.
I have a lot of energy. So intermittent fasting is
not just great for detoxing, it's not great, not just
great for helping to create the autophogy that we need
(16:52):
in our body to Basically, autophogy is something we need
to happen, we need to help it. Intermittent fasting helps them,
and that autophogy is the process where we are able
to eat up get our body, to eat up the
old cells and bacterias and stuff in our body and
regenerate new, good, healthy cells. So you need to give
(17:15):
yourself a break from eating. You need to give your
digestion a break and let the body do other things.
So when it gets that break, it can go ahead
and dispatch autophogy. I kind of like to think of
it like that. You know, the brain the way it works,
and the body the way it functions. It's constantly getting
signals from us. So when we don't eat, when we
(17:36):
intermit and fast, when we take a break, we are
now causing this dispatch of the signals in our body
to say, Okay, let's start cleaning house. Let's get rid
of those old cells, let's start regenerating new cells. So
it's just a great tool that we have, and it's
(17:57):
so easy for us to incorporate into our busy lives.
Now there's also water fasting, which is a very powerful
strategy as well. And as I was saying, during fasting,
the body enters that state called atophagy where it begins
recycling damage cells and foreign invaders like parasites. Barbara O'Neill
(18:19):
explains it like this fasting gives your body the pause
it needs to heal deeply. Parasites starve during these windows,
and the immune system becomes more vigilant. See she explains
it so much better than me. Other advanced methods include
(18:41):
ozone therapy, colloidal silver, diatomaceous earth. Make sure it's food grade.
That's another really great one. This diatamacious earth. You can
put it in your smoothies. You can. It has It
has no flavor, it doesn't smell like anything. It's just
a really powder, like a baby powder. But the tiny
(19:04):
little shard it's like little tiny shards of glass to
the parasites. So the microscopic parasites that we can't see,
the dietamacous earth will just tear them apart. So it's
a really great way to rid yourself of certain parasites.
Turpentine protocols can be very controversial and must be used carefully.
(19:25):
Now I will admit I have never tried turpentine. I
don't know anybody who has, and that's something I would
have to really really investigate before I delved into that. One.
You can detox without giving up your pets. I mean,
obviously we don't want to give up our pets. We're
big animal lovers over here at our house. We have
(19:47):
two dogs and a cat and they're not going anywhere.
They're part of the family. So don't worry. You know,
I'm not saying you should give up your fur babies,
but we do need to be proactive. Here are some
tips to reduce zoonotic risk. Wash your hands after handling
your pets regularly. Deworm your pets using a natural I
(20:09):
would say a vet recommended option, A natural vet recommended option.
How about that? Because they will oftentimes recommend stuff that
we might not agree with. Right. Avoid letting your pets
lick your face, clean the litter boxes and the betting
often do not allow pets in your bed if you're healing.
(20:33):
It's also smart to run seasonal parasite cleanses for both
you and your pets. Consider gentle herbal proto protocols twice
a year, especially in spring and fall. So that's not
that bad. You just think of it like spring cleaning
and you know, getting ready for fall. So one one
(20:57):
thing doctor Clark and doctor O'Neill both agree on the
terrain matters more than the parasite. So your physical condition
that you're in it's more important than the parasite because
if you have a healthy gut, if you have a
healthy lifestyle, if you're eating healthy foods, then there's no
home for the parasite. You're not making them comfortable. Do
(21:18):
not make a home for parasites in your body. The
more junk you're eating, the more stressed out you are,
the less sleep you let yourself get, the more comfortable
a parasite is going to be in your body. If
you're in aer terrain, your gut flora, your immune strength,
your detox organs are weak. So the terrain matters. Parasites
(21:41):
are going to settle in. If you strengthen the body,
they can't survive. This is about empowerment, not fear. It's
not just about killing bugs. It's about reclaiming your temple,
honoring your biology, and removing the blocks to vitality. Whether
you're battling fatigue, brain fog, IBS, or even cancer, this
(22:04):
may be the missing link. So as we wrap up,
remember this. Parasites are more common than most people think.
Our pets may carry them without symptoms. Cleansing with herbs
like walnut, hole cloths and wormwood is both ancient and
(22:24):
effective enemous, don't be afraid of them. Fasting and terrain
focused protocols help drive deep healing throughout the body. You
don't need to fear, just become informed, vigilant, and proactive.
