Dr. Namrata Goswami is a Professor of Space Security with the U.S. Space Force Schriever and West Space Scholars Program at Johns Hopkins University and teaches space policy, international relations, and emerging technologies at Arizona State University and the Joint Special Forces University. A former Jennings Randolph Senior Fellow at the U.S. Institute of Peace, she has testified on China’s space program before the U.S.-China Economic and Security Review Commission and serves on the NATO PfPC journal “Connections” editorial board.
Dr. Goswami holds a Ph.D. in International Politics from Jawaharlal Nehru University and has authored several books, including Scramble for the Skies and The Naga Ethnic Movement. Her work has appeared in journals such as New Space and Strategic Studies Quarterly, earning IDSA President Awards in 2009 and 2010. She has been featured in podcasts by BBC World Service, Al Jazeera, and The Space Show.
A recipient of numerous accolades, including a Fulbright Senior Fellowship and a Minerva Research Initiative Grant, Dr. Goswami has also spoken at TEDx and serves on the International Astronautical Federation
