Welcome to a rainy day meditation.
Maybe you're stuck insidebecause it's raining or it's
cold, or you're in a place thatit's very dry and your soul is
in need of some rain.
So, whether it's rainy or it'shotter than a soul into Mali, or
you're feeling a dark cloudfollowing you, use this

meditation to refresh your mind,your body, soul and spirit.
So find a comfortable position,whether laying down or in a
seated position.
Relax your eyes, relax your jaw, relax your hands, relax your

feet, being still noticing yoursurroundings, the temperature in
the air, the sounds that you'rehearing.
You're hearing your breath,noticing your breath, noticing

your chest going up and down,drawing attention to your
breathing in through the noseand out through the mouth.
Breathe in, breathe out.

Breathing in, breathing out.
Now that you are comfortable,relaxed, calm, turn your

attention to the sounds thatyou're hearing Rain.
Notice the repetitive sound.
Imagine the temperature andmoisture in the air, a damp,

refreshing scent, with awarenessof the rain, then recognizing
properties of water that it canbe life-giving, thirst quenching

And the water can also becleansing, clearing a washing or
rinsing away of dirt or thingsthat need to be removed.

Let the rain just wash overyour face, wash down your

shoulders, clean off yourfingers, cleansing your body.

Draw your attention back to therain.
Start to visualize individualrain drops and imagine them
collecting in your palms,creating small pools of water,

using each drop dropping in yourhand.
Each drop that lands in theleft palm is a life-giving drop,
refreshing and exciting, andeach drop that lands in the

right palm is cleansing,removing negativity, washing
away anything that doesn't serveyou or holding you back.
Allow the drops to collect ineach hand, noticing the left

(05:18):
palm, noticing the right palm,washing negativity away.
Allow the drops to collectwithout judgment.

(05:45):
Just hold and be present withthe puddles of water,
recognizing that each drop ispart of the whole, together
washing and refreshing.

Slowly, start to bring yourhands together at your heart and
imagine releasing the pools andletting them come together and
wash over you.
All the clearing, all the dropscome together and flow into one

, releasing and passing over.

attention to the rain, the smellin the air, the touch on your
skin, any warm sensations thatyou're feeling throughout your
